My husband chose the Seafood Platter, which came generously loaded with three shrimp, a large piece of fish, fries, onion rings, and hush puppies, more than enough to bring leftovers home. We also started with an appetizer featuring a half-and-half combination of mushrooms and fried jalapeño peppers, which was a great way to kick off the meal. The staff was pleasant and hardworking, though a few organizational hiccups such as a table that needed cleaning upon arrival, a missing side dish, and having to make repeated requests for condiments kept the service from matching the quality of the food. With a little more coordination, these small issues could easily be avoided. The warm, country atmosphere is charming and welcoming. We will absolutely return and are so glad we discovered this gem!

They have a good sized menu as well consisting of apps, salads, bowls, entrees and wraps. Of course, they are family friendly and offer kids meals too. I chose the steak entree since it comes with 2 sides of my choice as opposed to the braised beef which just comes with rice and beans....for the same price. I read they are known for their olive oil lemon cake, if there is such as things as a healthy dessert. I was very impressed with the meal and it seemed to be a pretty healthy choice at such a good price point. The steak was real slices of lean steak that actually tastes like a steak and not rubber. Fruit cup was very fresh and way better than any I've had at other restaurants lately. I wasn't a big fan of their teas, but they're gonna take some getting used to. The olive oil cake was tasty just a little smaller than I had imagined.

There are 2 kiosks for ordering, but also a manned register. The food did take a while to come out but after the first bite I knew I made the right selection. It's sliced just right so that it's easy to chew, tasted like a steak, and it was indeed a healthy meal. I enjoyed everything about the sandwich, even got a few bites of some apples when eating the 2nd half of the sandwich which was a nice surprise/addition. Here, unlike another healthy fast casual place in town, I did like the available tea selection. I also ordered a cookie for dessert and it turned to be really tasty as well. My dining partner ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl with rice and roasted veggies and really enjoyed that as well.

The self-service fountain drink area smelled strongly of mildew or old sponges, and the counter was very sticky and wet. I understand a mess during a lunch rush, but the lingering odor was a big turn off. I ordered a White Chicken Parm, and the chicken was unpleasantly rubbery in some areas- I regretfully had to spit out a piece, which I genuinely try not to do out of respect. Pasta was also too salty for my taste. The menu description also lists broccolini, but the reality was more of regular broccoli that was also soft to the point of being slightly mushy. I'm hoping the best for this restaurant, and also hope that this may have been an off day since there are recent good reviews; but in the meantime, I'll be exploring other Vintage Park options for lunch. - Ambiance: 2/5 - Food: 2/5 - Service: 4/5
