The quality of the food at this particular Chick-fil-A location in Williamsburg Virginia is very good. The pricing is in line with every other Chick-fil-A. My biggest criticism with this Chick-fil-A is the way the drive-thru is run. When it is crowded they have someone standing at each outdoor ordering station instead of helping inside. This slows drive thru ordering down very much. It would be much easier to put more people inside to communicate with the customer than have someone standing outside who can be distracting and makes the ordering time take longer. It took a very long time for us to receive a very basic order of Chick-fil-A sandwich, spicy chicken sandwich, and mmm the waffle fries that we love. Again, the quality of the food was very good especially the spicy chicken sandwich and the fries. We were not too crazy about the Frosted lemonade. The first few tastes of the Frosted lemonade were good but then after that you get kind of a sick feeling from tasting lemonade mixed with something dairy-like. I think that if you improve drive thru customer service, you will have better flow in that area. read more

I'm frequently disappointed when I open the box or bag to look at the sandwich I've ordered. When I reached out to the company (paid for extra cheese on a few sandwiches but didn't get any) corporate sent a free sandwich coupon and said this location would also contact me- they did not. Just very underwhelming when the Mooretown Rd one is ALWAYS so hot fresh and juicy with excellent portions. Great job to the staff at the window or register smiling and keeping things clean. I came here for lunch, it was busy but soon became packed with people. I ordered my usual(number 3, 12 count with sweet tea) and sat down and it took them awhile to bring the food and when they brought it, it was the wrong count of nuggets and my sweet tea was far from sweet. The experience I had in the drive Thur line was enough for me . I will not be returning to this location. For the first time ever the lady taking the orders was very rude , bossy and unprofessional. I always expect to give Chick-Fil-A 5 stars but couldn't this time. The food was great as always and the place was clean. But the bar for Chick-Fil-A has been set very high & this location didn't quite measure up. I'd been told to expect a wait here & that was true - not particularly full but still a wait. Also, I really missed the person that walks around & makes sure you have everything- need refills, napkins, whatever. This location didn't have that person so eating w/ kids was a constant jump Igor more napkins, more dip. Someone walked around & wiped off tables once but he didn't acknowledge anyone. This location is always extremely busy, but as per the Chick-fil-A way, they handle it. The wait is sometimes long, but not due to staff incompetence. They get tons of customers and when you do have to wait, they apologize and provide you with a coupon. The inside is always clean and the staff always nice. They typically utilize the iPad-staff member feature when they're busy. They also have a very interactive Facebook page, which I enjoy. read more

I am a chick-fil-a fanatic & I have NEVER had anything but exceptional service until visiting this chick-fil-a tonight FIRST they don't have cheese sauce .. SECOND they made us pull into a parking spot & wait for our food for about 10 mins after we ordered & then they walked our food out to us .. THIRD I ordered strips and they gave me nuggets. Went and picked up breakfast for family and brought it home. Among other things, got a chicken biscuit. It was missing one ingredient --- chicken!!!! Just got the biscuit. But I had been charged for the chicken. I know those folks are busy and we all make mistakes, but a chicken place that can't get chicken on the biscuit! This is my favorite Chick-fil-a of all time! And as someone who grew up on Chick, this is saying a lot. I eat here way more than I should, and the breakfasts are especially addicting. I'm one of those annoying type A perfectionists who highly customizes my drive through order. This Chick totally delivers, and when there is even a small mistake, they go above and beyond. In fact, this morning the fantastic manager, Zack, totally made my day. A few weeks ago I called and spoke with him because my minis weren't exactly as I ordered them. He was great and offered me a complimentary new mini meal the next time I came in, which I happily redeemed the following day. Then this morning he took my order in the drive through and when I pulled up to pay, I realized he had comped my meal! How kind is that?!? The best part was that my meal was Chick perfection... the yeast rolls were extra soft and fresh with the perfect amount of warm honey butter drizzled on top, with perfectly crispy chicken nuggets tucked inside. The hash browns were still hot and crispy, even though I didn't open them up until I had eaten all of the minis. Let's face it, all Chicks are great, but the exceptional service and attention to detail knocks this one out of the park. I had never been to a Chick-fil-a before moving to the 'burg and this place is AMAZING! Ok, yes, you may think this is way too much excitement for a fast food chain, but if so, you obviously have not been here before. The first time I went I was captured by their high quality grilled chicken sandwich on a whole wheat bun. Who does that in the fast food industry these days? And I ask you this: who doesn't love a waffle fry? Not to mention the fact that when you eat in, they have a hostess come around and refill your drink and make sure everything is ok. Get more staff or train the people to work more efficiently. This is my second trip to this location. Stood in line this time because last time mobile ordering took longer to receive my food. Waiting in line took ten minutes as I watched two cashiers struggle to enter orders and pause between customers for no reason that was apparent to me. I am here on a Wednesday night at 7:30 pm. When it comes to fast food Chick-Fil-A is #1 in my book. They use REAL white meat and hand batter every piece of chicken, unlike other fast food places with their generic hand pressed fake chicken. If anything is wrong with your order they correct it and give you coupons for free meals/items. If you have to wait longer then 5-10 minutes, free coupons. Don't get me wrong how can you not love Chick-fil-A. I am a local here in Williamsburg and this is the worst Chick-fil-A I've ever been to. There'll only be three cars in line and it will take me over 20 minutes to get through the line. It is the slowest most inefficient Chick-fil-A ever. Additionally, unlike other Chick-fil-A's in the area they do not do promotions with the local schools. I accidentally went to this Chick-fil-A on our local elementary schools Chick-fil-A night and the manager told me that they do not have promotional nights with schools. So I left and drove to the one further west. I am writing this review, and I am still in line... The only reason I gave it three stars is for the food and the people. I am so sad to say that my husband and have almost stopped going to this Chick-fil-a and each time we decide to do so we regret it. I'm not sure why but someone has made the decision to have people standing outside taking orders at the drive through. We hate, loath this experience! We used to drive up to a large board that was lit up and provided the menu. We didn't feel pressure and have someone breathing into our window waiting for us to spit our order out on command. Now they hand you a small menu, we have to put our glasses on to read it. We asked to go to the board to read the menu and were told they needed to take our order before that. Please stop this! If this is to speed up the line than Lord knows... do something else... how about opening up another store nearby. Or take the orders at the menu board. Absolutely filthy disgustingly dirty. Grease marks on the walls. BUGS on the floor. Every table... EVERY table...was dirty. The trash bins had crusted sauce and food all over them. The manager sent someone to clean a table so we could eat...but we had to ask. It doesn't much matter how the food tastes...because if its that GROSS in the dining room...how bad is it in the kitchen where customers can't see????? Never again. Chick Fil A headquarters should shut this pigsty down. Haven't eaten at one since. Deserves 0 stars...maybe even negative stars.
