I've been to this location before, but years back and drive thru. It's in a busy shopping center named Marketplace. Parking was plentiful and lot clean. The exterior looked newer, maybe a renovation. Once I walked in I was convinced of a recent renovation. Counter service was efficient and friendly. I ordered a #1 and found a seat. It was slow on a weekday afternoon. The dining room was clean. My order was brought out in minutes. Everything was tasty and fresh. This is one of the better experiences at a CFA. Recommend! read more

This is a beautiful and spacious CFA. It's in a large shopping complex with a Publix and several other shops. Plenty of parking and a large drive-through are available here. I've lived in Williamsburg now for almost 15 years (I'm 21) and ever since we moved here and I've started working, I've been an almost daily customer. Even when there used to be a Burger King that now is gone and is the parking lot there. I'm Always arriving as soon as it opens at 6:00AM. In my almost 15 years of visiting this Chick-fil-A I can't even recall a single bad or even annoying interaction with any staff. They always are polite in greeting, patient in moments where you stumble on words during order, and deliver good food on time even if the line can get long, as well as almost NEVER messing up my order. The inside is always clean, the restrooms are always nice and never made me feel uncomfortable, for anyone who likes to eat inside. I know fast food places have good times to visit for fresh food but this Chick-fil-A 80-90% of the time has fresh hot food to order in the mornings, at lunch, and near dinner. I always get a hot and fresh breakfast and am rarely ever given food in the morning at opening that's dull or feels mediocre. I know this review may be a little biased considering it's the main one I visit, but I eat at a lot of different fast food restaurants here in Williamsburg and the service, food, and building are all great. In a way I wanted to make this review to show my appreciation for how great and hardworking the staff are at this location. And I highly recommend stopping by if you're a tourist or live nearby. This chick-fil-a has an enormous drive through with three lanes to order from. The inside is sizable but does not compare to their drive through. I've never had a bad experience here with the food. I write this review to highlight their catering. My group has ordered large catering orders through here numerous times. They always have it delivered at the right time or available for pickup. Notably, there was a mess up on our end and I had to apologetically order thirty sandwiches just for carry out. They did so with a smile on their face even though I know it was a hassle. From reading other reviews, they indeed do NOT have a play park. Overall, I recommend this chick-fil-a especially for businesses or groups looking to do catering. read more

This is still the worst Chick-fil-A ever somehow. I got there for 10 minutes to spare for breakfast. I ordered my breakfast and it took almost 20 minutes to get out. By that time they were not making any more sandwiches and my sandwich and all the food was cold. I asked for a refund and they offered me a lunch meal as well, but they never gave me my refund and it was kind of awkward to keep asking for what I wanted, my money back, because I really just wanted breakfast hot breakfast food. I went to this chick a fil because I was handle errands in the area. When I went I there their was one cashier working the register. I had ordered a grilled chicken nugget meal but received a fried chicken meal. The cashier didn't read back the order. Once I arrived home to eat my meal is when I realized it was fried instead of grilled. It felt like a long time to receive my order. I noticed that someone had to get help to get food out to the people who were carrying out. They need to learn from other establishments. I'm very disappointed in my recent visit to chick-fil-a. I asked the young lady in the drive thru for a biscuit with nothing on it, a small sweet tea and a Greek yogurt parfait. I was expecting the total to be around $7-$8, which is still very pricey for what I'm paying for. The total came to $11.27! I was shocked, but paid it, got my food and left. When I got home, my Greek yogurt had 2 blueberries and 3 pieces of one strawberry in it. My receipt showed that I paid for a chicken biscuit combo, but there was no chicken biscuit, it was just the biscuit itself (which is all I wanted in the first place). So I probably paid a higher price for a combo that I didn't get. The employees there are always nice. However, chick-fil-a has truly priced themselves out of the market for me and if you are going to charge that much for food, give people what they are paying for. Do better than 2 blueberries and 3 little pieces of a strawberry. Do better than $7 for a chicken biscuit and only provide a plain biscuit. I won't be going back to chick-fil-a. For this much money, I'll go to sportsman's grill and have a salad and a tea and have someone wait on me to ensure the order is right. read more

I love Chick-fil-A and this being a popular area in Williamsburg I would expect exceptional service. Unfortunately I did not receive that! This Chick-fil-A needs a major face life and renovation. Although the restaurant is clean the lighting and look is dingy. The bathroom is especially dark in the lighting department. The food took awhile to come out and the taste was off and dry. My biggest complaint would be that I waited in line for ten minutes while one of the cashiers (bob) was "catching up with an old friend". I felt that was very rude! I also asked him for 4 ketchups and he reluctantly gave me three and slowly got my drink. I think Bob would serve this restaurant better as a greeter. read more

Yesterday I had a lunch date with my grandson at school so I went to my app and place my order at Chick-fil-A. I was instructed by the app it would be 6 to 12 minutes so far. Perfect timing. As I'm waiting for my order, I see another customer walk up who's waiting for their carry out only to find out it was given to somebody else. Chick-Fil-a has no way to verify you are the person that is actually picking up the order that you paid for, they don't ask for ID. Some people have the same name. Glad it wasn't my order! 16 minutes later I had to speak up to the manager who only apologized which it doesn't correct the problem. Then another person came over to tell her to refund my money but they couldn't because I placed it on the app. When checking out, I was originally given someone else's order. when mine was found, I was only given one drink. It was supposed to be one sugar, lemonade, one Splenda lemonade. When I got to school, the drinks were not marked, which was sugar and which was with out, which is very critical when someone is a diabetic in the family. I placed my order prior to arriving through the CFA app to avoid a longer wait time Didn't happen today! So disappointed I've been patronizing this door for seven years never had a problem. This was the first time I use the app and had plenty of problems. If there is one knock on far too many CFA locations it would be in terms of location. Far too many places were poorly planned in terms of ease of getting on/off the property. To a degree I could understand that maybe twenty years ago when comparatively no one had heard of CFA (at least not those of us in PA since back then we didn't have any yet) but it's really inexcusable the way how the stores continue to get built/positioned. This CFA is located in the entirely too busy Monticello Marketplace shopping complex by some banks and a few other fast food competitors. Crazy amounts of traffic to get on to the mall's property let alone to make the left turn on to CFA property only to be met with the usual line wrapped around the store with very little movement. After assessing this mess for a minute we parked and went inside to find the store maybe 1/3 full. As for the food/service/experience, there were a some issues. * No bacon on the club which of course defeats the concept of a club. * No CFA sauce brought out with the order even though that's what was requested. * We got shorted an order of fries. I went back to the register to bring this to their attention and this equaled a long wait with them bringing to our table a new club sandwich with bacon (good), four orders of fries (obviously someone wasn't listening) and still no CFA sauce. Eventually the sauce issue got fixed when I went back to ask for a third time which should obviously never happen especially at a chain that normally has a robotic level of consistency and precision. The last time we were in Williamsburg about a year prior we ate here and there were similar issues. I held back on the review figuring that it was an outlier but I'm starting to think that might be how they roll here. Sorry guys but I think you're the first (and I've been to many) CFA that I'm going to say never again to or at the very least it'll be a while. read more

mostly teenaged staff that are too occupied with flirting and chatting with each other to pay attention to orders. they gave our order to someone else, and had us holding up the entire lane we were in. we were sitting in line waiting for our food for 20 minutes, and FINALLY told us "my bad, we gave it to someone else". the female running the window had to "reorder" our entire meal and made us pull into a parking space to sit for several more minutes. it's worth noting we got the simplest items off the menu: two chicken sandwiches with fries. staff did not apologize, give "compensation" (coupon, free cookie, etc) and had very apathetic attitudes. i've been to this location several times before, and never have i ever had an experience like this. management: pay attention to your crew more. read more

I brought my daughter in for her first experiences. 3 people stood at the counter and not one person took our order. They looked at us. One lady said "someone needs to be on a register" and a lady walked away and said "that's not me". We left and they just watched us walk out. We were the only ones in line. I felt embarrassed just standing there waiting. One guy laughed at me as we walked out.
