I have been here at least 15 times due mostly that it's a great location near the Buc-ees in Terrell. This Chick-fil-A is a newer location and has been open for about 5 months. I've given them some time before I decided to Yelp them to let them get out the kinks associated with a opening a new restaurant. As I get my order and leave each visit, the resounding sentiment is that there never seems to be any urgency to get your food out fast at this location. Now keep in mind I'm not ordering anything custom made or out of the ordinary, just sandwiches, fries and drinks. The only request I make is no pickles on a few of the sandwiches which 90% of the time is messed up anyhow where I get the pickles. And to be honest with you the Chik-fil-A menu isn't that extensive to warrant issues. I've been 1st in line and 10th in line and unlike other Chick-fil-A locations (especially the Forney one) the employees are just plain slow and seem unsure of what to do. I was the only one in line and at the window the other day and it took 10 minutes to get my food. When you finally get to the window there are no fewer than 6-8 people inside filling orders or cleaning the area around the drive through window. Now with all of these people you'd think it would take no time to get 4 sandwiches, 3 fries and 2 drinks, right? Wrong. I usually have to sit there for a while and watch all of these workers scurry around to what end I know not. There's always a manager around but she's bouncing around as well directing them what to do. Things just don't seem to be organized as a finely run machine like you see at other Chick-fil-A locations. However, the workers are friendly enough and the food is good. They just need to get with the program and pick up the pace a bit. P.S. - And remember 'no pickles' means 'no pickles', not sure why that is so stinking difficult. read more

I went to this chick fi la with my 3 kids and almost traumatised them!!! worst of all it was because a worker and a don't wanna say her name in case she gets fired but I'm going to call her s.. so basically S gave me my chicken burger but... the chicken was raw!! Oh my it was so raw it could have jumped of the plate and hurt my kids! I really didn't like the vibe of it, the lights made it worse! Janie who works at this Chick-fil-a is the main reason to come. When I walked in she was helping kids get a refill when their hands were full. She is so pleasant to talk to and she kept checking to make sure we were happy with our meal and service. She also asked us if we needed refills. This was the best experience. read more

This is a poor example of a Chick-Fil-A. My son has worked there for 2 years and was let go today for "not being a good fit". He asked why he was let go, and they had no answer. He has been trying to move up the chain and has been a team player. The owner of this facility has horrible management skills. The owner consistently promotes females to management and has cussed out male management in front of teammates and customers. My son has seen MULTIPLE people let go the same way and nobody has been given a reason. It's a default "not being a good fit". Chick-Fil-A claims to be a family, Christian business, but does not promote this in any way. My son was asked to tuck his cross necklace away by the owner. This is my first time ever to have a bad experience with Chick-Fil-A. The service was fast and I enjoyed my lemonade, but the chicken tasted like it came from Walmart, boiled in tap water, and carelessly tossed in a fryer. It was chewy and just tasted stale, and wasn't the fresh chicken I normally get. The fries were also barely cooked, as they were mostly squishy and floppy. I was very sad, as I was on a long road trip and just wanted some good chicken. Chick-Fil-A is one of my favorite chains, but this location, and this particular Friday crew put a bad taste in my mouth, literally. Took advantage of mobile ordering and ordered my sandwich with no pickles add tomato along with 2 other meals. They got the tomato right but not the pickles. Bread was hard as a rock meaning they repurposed a sandwich already on the line and just slapped tomatoes on top of the pickles. Had to throw out the bottom of my sandwich because with curbside or drive thru only there is no opportunity to ask a person to fix the order. Since COVID-19 happened, get food that has been sitting on thr warming line has become common at this location. Ordered breakfast on the app around 815am and picked up at the location around 830am. Super friendly staff, a simple order, it was ready pretty quickly. The biscuit was the most depressing thing I've seen in a while. If I was working I'd definitely leave that biscuit to the side and not serve it to a paying customer. I have come to this Chik-fil-A in Terrell three times now on my way home from work. After the third time having to wait for chicken strips each time I will not be coming back. Each time I have had to wait at least 10 minutes for my order. There are many other options for food on my way home and I will be going anywhere else. I've been a CFA regular at several different stores over the years. But this has been one of my least favorites. There have been a couple of exceptions, but as a whole the employees are not friendly or welcoming. I've been unimpressed with the services for dine in, carry out, and drive thru. Yesterday I was ignored by multiple employees while waiting on a carry out order just to find out it had been given out to someone else. Accidents happen but not being acknowledged is lame. I have not had any issues with the lunch food options other than the chicken is really salty which I believe is due to their brine recipe. They really need to back off the salt! Now for breaking have been here like 6 times today being number 6 because I get free chicken biscuit biscuits with my app now and then. I am not sure what it is with this location but every time I have ordered a chicken biscuit here it is horrible the chicken is chewy, scrawny and way too salty including today. I called the manager she came out Missouri friendly I explained my experiences today and in the past so she offered me something different so I chose a sausage biscuit. The sausage biscuit was better not as salty the biscuits on the sandwiches are always pretty good but I still found quite a bit of fat and gristle in the sausage.
