After my dermatology appointment, I decided to eat the Lord's chicken for lunch. Chick-fil-A MacCorkle Avenue has a new sandwich that I've been wanting to try for a while. Because I was on remote work while I recouped from chemotherapy cream treatments, this was my first chance to try it (plus it is a hop and a skip from my doctor's office). This sandwich is the Jalapeño Ranch Club. It has pepper jack cheese, candied bacon, pickled jalapeños, lettuce, tomatoes and a jalapeño ranch sauce. Oooohh it was goooood. read more

Hands down the best Chick-fil-a I have ever been to. The employees are all friendly and efficient. I love that they have older employees for keeping the dining room clean. They know how to clean. The tables have beautiful real fresh flowers. Food is always very good. This CFA has the largest parking lot and the most curbside pickup spots than any other I've ever seen. It is a super busy CFA and they handle it very well. We hardly waited for the food. We have been here twice now, as we travel through South Charleston a couple of times a year, and we will be back. read more

I have never given CF less than a 4 until now. I placed a catering ordering for pickup on Dec 21 at 4 pm. It was for a tray of nuggets, a gallon of sweet tea, and a gallon of unsweet tea. I received a call on Dec 20 asking if I had placed two orders. I had told them no, only one and told them my order. The staff member said she would cancel the one order. We arrived right at 4 pm to pick up our order. The girl went to get my order and came out and questioned if I was at the correct location. I pulled up my email to show her and told her that an employee had called to confirm my order. More time had passed and finally another employee came out and said "when you called to cancel the order they must of canceled both". I told her I didn't call to cancel anything and someone from there called me. She was very dismissive and said "we will just have to make it up again". Forty minutes later my order was brought out. No real apology, just a "sorry about that". I know things happen, but it made me late for our family gathering and the entire situation really left me disappointed. I'm always giving kudos and singing praises of CF, but this time was probably the worst I've ever encountered. read more

On 12/31/2024, we were out of town until late in the day due to a family member's medical care. Expecting to be back at around 5:30 pm, we ordered a chicken nugget tray for pick up. My son and his wife ate here a couple weeks ago and they both found hair in their food. I went here with a friend last week and they forgot to give me my drink and gave my friend the wrong one. The employees are very kind though it's also so busy there was almost nowhere to sit. read more

Fast, friendly service, and fresh food. That's pretty much the standard for 98% of all the Chic-fil-A's I've visited in the past 40 years.

I have no idea what any these people are talking about on leaving 1 star review for being rude and taking minutes. I've been here more times time that I can count and have never waited longer than 5 minutes for hot fresh food. This is by far the best fast food place in South Charleston and maybe even all of Kanawha County. The only negative that I will give is that they changed the fries, but they are still edible. read more

Terrible service . We stopped at this chick fil a on our way back to KY. Young lady Kassandra taking our order had a terrible attitude while speaking to me and my husband. She was talking very low basically whispering to her self and expecting us to hear what she was saying . I had to check her and tell her to speak louder instead of having a nasty attitude . Placed my order online for breakfast at 9:45ish, I live 35 minutes away. Due to traffic and construction in the area arrived at 10:30ish and got notified as I'm pulling in the parking lot, my order was cancelled and when I spoke to the manager working at the time (dark brown haired female) I was told in a politically correct way I was "SOL". You should probably include in the app that when breakfast is cut off at 10, that includes any orders already placed and save people the trip. Definitely won't be back to this location again, just because the manager seemed like she had more important things to do than speak to me. read more

As you may know by reading my other review on this location, this Chick-fil-A is always messing up my order. I'm not too sure if they have a problem with me at this point. The food is still very good but I would rather get what I ordered instead of the wrong item. I'm making this review a 1 as opposed to my last review being a 2 because of the continued poor service. read more

I have never been to a chick-fil-a this bad in my entire life and I go to chick-fil-a frequently. It took 25 minutes to get my food. They should be ashamed of themselves to call themselves a fast food restaurant. I don't think I've ever sat at McDonald's that long.
