Food was good. Customer service was great at the register. The problem for me was when I asked where the bathrooms were, they said the men's room wasn't working. They said I could wash my hands but not use the facilities so I could leave. Who says "leave!" The way I was told was very rude. Delivery of a message is very important. read more

Was so excited to have a Simi chick fil a but sadly it's disappointing. Almost every time I go my order is messed up. When it's right the fries are always gross. They're never cooked right. Staff seems poorly trained and they argue with each other a lot. Will have to stick to the one in Thousand Oaks. read more

I do not like this chick fil a at all. The drive thru is absolute chaos, I hate going though it. I feel rushed when ordering and I can never see the menu because they take your order before you get to it, which is fine if you could see the one they wear but you can't, so you just have to know what you want or they get annoyed. Then they usually have to run the card 3-4 times before it works. We're then sent off to the receipt person who always has the hardest time printing out the receipt, twice now they couldn't figure it out and asked if it was ok to not be given the receipt (because it was holding up the line), which no it wasn't ok because they usually get the order wrong so I want to check the receipt. Then finally you get to the window, which is chaos in itself, and they have several people standing outside the window running around getting partial orders to cars several cars back. There's so much confusion going on with the communication there. When I went today the person inside and the person outside almost got into a fight because the one inside was pointing to a car like 3 cars back and the guy outside just wasn't getting it and they started arguing. Then since they're giving partial orders I almost wasn't given my drink until I had to say something, then they act annoyed I asked for my drink. So reading all the other reviews about getting orders wrong I totally see why it happens (they have no idea what they're doing) . Then when you think you're finally done and out of there, there's a line to get out of the drive thru because that's the sauce and straw person. Because for some reason they can't give those to you at the window. It's so ridiculous. If they just gave you your receipt with the person who charges you and gives you you're sauces and straws at the window time would be cut in half. I feel like they hired too many people and are trying to find things for everyone to do. They've been open for over a month now, that's beyond enough time to be trained correctly yet sadly they still all act like they have no idea what they're doing. My order has been wrong almost everytime I've gone there, today was actually the first time it wasn't wrong so maybe they're improving there.. let's hope so. Love Chick-Fil-A! Any location works, except for Tampa Ave in Northridge with their parking and drive thru, takes forever. Employees are great & helpful & smile. They give a warm welcome. The food is awesome! Love their menu choices. Their cookies are amazing and I always get them often. Love their choice of sauces and especially their ChickFil A sauce. Would definitely go here as often as I can. read more

All my prior experience was great however this time when we got home we did not receive any fry's for the meals we ordered including the kids meal. i wasn't going to write a review but what happened yesterday was too much. i came here yesterday around 9:50 and my order was simple enough a spicy deluxe with no pickles a sprite and a side of the 8 count nuggets. the gentleman outside asked me what kind of sauce i wanted and i said Chick-fil-A sauce, buffalo, and barbecue. he repeated the order to me and it all checked out, but when i got to the window they got confused because they couldn't find me by my name. apparently he put me down as albert instead of Robert which isn't really a big deal but they took a good minute to figure it out. i wish that would have been the end of it but when i got home i realized that they gave me the wrong sauces my sandwich had pickles in it when i clearly said no pickles, again not the biggest deal but to top it off they gave me a 2 count chicken nugget instead of an 8 count. I didn't even know you could get a 2 count chicken nugget but i got it , and im not even talking about 2 chicken strips i mean 2 measly chicken nuggets (if you could even call them that) they were literally breaded chicken skin with no mean at all like they got what ever was at the bottom of the fryer and threw them in a box. i wish i was exaggerating but thats exactly what they tasted like. and again i dont even think there is a 2 piece nugget option which makes it even more confusing as to how they even messed that up, unless whoever packed it doesn't even know how to count to 8. now if these would have been separate incidents i could forgive them easily, except the nuggets, thats unexcusable. in fact this whole experience is unexcusable i dont understand how you mess up so much on one order theres obviously no control in the kitchen or they're in desperate need of more training. i didn't pay full price for a half ass job. read more

The location in Simi really needs to get its act together. I've had numerous mistakes on my order in both the walk up and drive through. Today wasn't an exception... I placed a take out order as well as a dine in order at the walk up and was surprised to see that I'd been charged for a large fry that I didn't order. Before the transaction I'd presented my App with the bar code to receive my points and was told that I could just "scan a code" off of my 2 receipts. There was no code on the receipt to scan! It requires you to go to a website to redeem them. WHAT A PAIN IN THE ASS!!! This isn't my first rodeo and I knew damn good and well the easiest way to get point credit for my purchases was to SCAN MY PHONE AT THE REGISTER!!! When I brought this to a managers attention, he tried to direct me back to the website because it was obviously too much of a pain to redeem them at the register like I'd requested in the first place. Love the food but this location has obviously left a very bad taste in my mouth... your customer service should go well beyond a smile. TRAIN YOUR STAFF AND MANAGERS MUCH BETTER!!! read more

This is hands down the worst Chick-fil-a I have ever been to. I've never had a problem at other locations with them getting the order wrong, or the food being inconsistent and since I deliver food I go to the other locations a lot. From stale fries to chicken that hasn't been cooked enough to things requested missing, this location has it all. Not to mention the thing I enjoy most are the salads, which have not only gone down steadily in quantity and quality, but today it came with an ingredient missing. In fact when I went back to ask why it was missing an ingredient, the guy who I think was the manager said "come back here and make it yourself". Of course he was a child and said it jokingly, but still, I had enough decency not to say anything back. After telling me they were out of strawberries for the salad I suggested a voucher for a complete salad at a later time, at which point I was handed a fruit cup with strawberries in it. Overall, they don't know the first thing about customer service at this location. Go to the Thousand Oaks or Westlake Village locations, this one is bad and only getting worse. And it's kind of nice seeing the terrible experiences by other customers, at least I know I'm not alone. read more

I went through the drive-through at the Chick-fil-A in Simi Valley, my first time going to this restaurant. The service was exceptional, everyone was very polite and orders taken with a smile. I would have given five stars for the service but unfortunately reviews were only a single item. If you have a peanut allergy, beware, their chicken is fried in peanut oil!!! I ordered the food for my family, paid, got up to the window before I remembered to ask what kind of oil they cooked in. They advised that they use peanut oil and I had to refuse the order and get a refund. Beware if you or anyone in your family has a peanut allergy. They do not tell you, Nor do they have a disclaimer on the little menu that they hand you in the drive-through. I know it is my responsibility to always ask but with the amount of people who have this particular allergy, it may be something that they wish to advise customers about in advance. This could have ended very badly with an ambulance ride for my wife if the chicken had been consumed. read more

Chick fil a has always been my favorite place to eat! I was even here for the Simi Valley grand opening. A couple weeks ago I went on a Saturday with my family. We picked up some lunch & decided to eat at home. While going through the drive-thru the girl in the window had an awful attitude & was so rude to even her own coworkers! We finally got home & looked at our totally which was nearly 60$$. I was amazed since I only ordered 3 8 count meals. I looked on the receipt & it turned out they had charged me for 3-4 extra sandwiches that we did not order. I called into the store & talked to who had said to be the store manager. She told me she was unable to refund me because my card was not present. She then continued to say that she would put free meals on my app to make up for the extra charges, I was fine with that. When I returned to that same chick fil a the week after I had explained my situation once again & was told I don't know who you spoke to & there is nothing we can do.
