When many places were closed, Chick-Fil-A was open and when using the app it is very easy. I found an empty table, ordered, then scanned the QR code on the table and my food was brought out soon after. The drive thru was busy and looked complicated so I just dined there. I liked that there was a station with anything you might need without needing to return to the counter. The restaurant was kept clean and was a good option for lunch. read more

We recently stopped by the Chick-fil-A location for dinner with our family and left a bit disappointed. The chicken nuggets we received were very undersized and pretty dry. The fries also were not very hot and ended up being somewhat soggy. What made it more disappointing is that we recently visited the Chick-fil-A in Emporia, VA and were very pleased with the portion sizes and overall quality there, so we know it's definitely doable. Just a bit disappointed in this newer Selma location and hoping they improve the consistency and food quality going forward. read more

I was traveling to VA to meet my great nephew. I stopped half way at a hotel and hit the road early the next morning. Within a few hours my stomach was growling. I hopped on the Chick-fil-A app to find the nearest restaurant. It was a little further off 95 than I wanted to travel but I was craving the chick-n-mini biscuits. I ordered on the app and went through the drive-thru for pick up. The chick-n-mini biscuits were delicious as always! I also got a yogurt parfait with cookie crumbs and it was so good. But probably not that healthy LOL. I also took the time for a bathroom break after eating in my car. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. And I was on my way. At least there was an exit further north on 95 for getting back on the interstate. But I probably wouldn't stop at this location again as it was too far from the highway. read more

On December 5th I placed an online delivery order for 50 people to be delivered in Kenly NC on Monday at 6:30pm originally. I made the order a bit after 5pm and NEVER heard from anyone after that. I needed to add items to the order and see if I could change to time to 6pm as guests to our work meeting would most likely be arriving early and I wanted them to be accommodated for their early arrival. On Monday morning, because no had called to verify my order or my needs, I decided to call. I spoke with Tiffany from catering at 11:45am. She stated that she could add the items as well change the time of arrival WITHOUT me having to contact the store. I thought all was well until at 6pm no one had arrived or contact me about them arriving late. At 6:15pm I began to panic as the meeting room started to fill with participants. I stepped away from my duties to call your store and verify the delivery and was told my order had been canceled and there was nothing they could do because the store had closed early due to inclement weather. Even if that was the case, why was I not contacted or made aware of the cancellation or the store closing early. If the focus was truly on, customer service; there would have been some communication between them and me. I was told that there was an email stating the order had been canceled. Upon my investigation of such emails, I saw that my original order had been canceled and a NEW email had been sent that stated the updated TIME AND PRICE FOR THE ADDED ITEMS TO THE ORDER. The young lady also stated that the manager or owner would reach out to me and speak to me about this issue and here it is Thursday and no one had called me or emailed me, to apologize for this issue. You guys are horrible about communicating and making your customer aware of your intentions. DO BETTER!! read more

This restaurant always delivers a great experience, but its location is always a bit of a letdown. It's always packed and busy, and the parking lot and location are simply too small for such a large establishment. The service here is always top-notch, but I wish they would be a bit more generous with the sauce. I usually order a 30-count for my children, but they never seem to get enough. And don't even get me started on the stingy amount of Chick-fil-A sauce they give out. Haha, it's so stingy! On the bright side, the food is always delicious. I love the play structure for my children, but I wish they would be more mindful of the age group of the kids playing around them. While traveling back from Florida we stopped for the night in Smithfield. Not being familiar with this area and not a lot of places to choose from we decided to stop at this Chick-Fil-A in Smithfield. The staff was very nice southern and sweet. We decided to eat there because the drive up lines were way too long. I placed my order of 2 Original Chick- Fil- A Sandwiches with Waffle Fries, Sweet Tea, and an 2 orders of Chick-Fil-A Chicken Strips. The Chicken Strips are so good crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My food was delivered promptly to my table. I noticed we were missing a separate order of Chick-Fil-A Strips. Our server immediately went back and got us an order. She was very sweet and apologized. It really wasn't a big deal. The dining area was a bit small, but I had no problem finding a table. Everything was delicious and the sauces are great especially their Sweet and Spicy Sriracha Sauce, and their Polynesian Sauce. My bf loves their BBQ and Zesty Buffalo Sauce. Since I was in the south I ordered sweet tea. So different then what I'm used to. They add lots and lots of sugar but it was a nice change of pace. This was the best customer service I've ever experienced. They were all so polite and at your service, it didn't take more than 5 seconds for them to grant your request with a smile. There was even a lady going around offering refills which I did not expect at Chick-fil-A. A lady also came all the way across the kitchen to give me my refill when they usually just act like they don't see you. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER! And the food was good. read more

We arrived on a Monday in October at 11:45. The drive thru was crazy busy but there were plenty of tables inside. There was no line inside when we got there but it picked up by noon. Chicken nuggets were typical Chick-fil-A. Market salad with nuggets was ok. The lettuce on top was fresh but on the bottom the lettuce had brown edges. I proceed to the pick up window and waited for our food to be ready. When we received our order we asked for our missing sauces and drinks. One of the ladies stated they were out of chic fil a sauce. For a Chick-fil-a this is a disappointing location. Went there today 11/18/23 and while waiting in line just observed crew. No one was working with any sort of urgency. Most behind the counter were just talking and joking amongst themselves. When we finally get to register the cashier paid barely paid attention to us or looked in our direction. This visit felt very much like the last time we were at this location. There were plenty of employees standing around and had the opportunity to provide a good experience but we just didn't feel welcomed. Driving home from Myrtle Beach South Carolina to New Jersey, we stopped at Chick-fil-A Smithfield. It was getting late so I ordered online and when I got there the food was Nice and fresh. Wow! You could get dizzy in the drive-through, which circles around and around the building. But like every Chick-fil-A the system is in place, every employee knows their job and it works. Even as a first time guest, I could easily follow the maze to a grilled chicken sandwich. That's all I ordered in the flawless drive-thru system where I spoke with a person, not into a box with awful sound quality. At one point I was called by name and handed my receipt. Service always five star. The food, while pricey for just a sandwich is consistently good quality. I found this Chick-fil-A to deliver the high quality I expect. Upon exiting, there is a dedicated stop light and two left turn lanes out of the parking lot and one right turn lane. So once you get in and around, you'll also be able to exit with ease. read more

I have visited number locations and I must say this was one of the nastiest one I ever entered. Upon entering the lobby area there was food on tables that had not been cleaned off. To make matters worst customers were actually placing their feet in food on the beneath tables. The real nastiest part was a customer brought a dog (beast to me) attached to her chest at the counter where it was sniffing food. The employees didn't say a word. Just another nasty beast that was not a service animal that should have been left in the car as if everyone wanted to congratulate her for having it instead. I had to state to her I had allergies and did not appreciate her bringing the nasty inside to trigger it. She decided to put the nasty beast on the floor where it began to sniff around. Service animals do not sniff for food or bark! You have to wonder if there are nasty rewards for people that bring their beast to into stores. read more

This location in Smithfield is the best one I have been too yet. We arrived at lunch time about 1:30 and the double-line drive through was full, however, the larger than normal parking lot was easy to maneuver, even during the peak lunch hour. The restaurant and restroom were very clean. An attendant was working the condiment counter, and picking up trays from those that had finished their meal. The service counter personnel were fast, friendly and efficient, and our food came out almost immediately after we paid. The management has this place running like a well-oiled machine.
