The order inaccuracy has been the absolute worst that I have seen. I would give zero stars, order is always incorrect and inaccurate. It's like their STINGY over a damn sauce?!?! Like what the fuck is the point of selecting how many you want if they are not going to give it to you. Always less than the ALLOWED amount selected in the app. I will in fact leave a review for each visit moving on, at least for each unsatisfactory visit. Let's see how many times this happens. Like is there a shortage or what? At least tell us. For me it's either the entire order is correct or the entire visit is unsatisfactory. I know everyone's standards for their order accuracy is different, mine just happen to be high because I expect precisely what I ordered; and that is exactly what every customer should be expecting as well; exactly what they mother fucking ordered, NOTHING LESS. I also shouldn't have to double check my order bag to ensure my order; my entire order would be in fact in there; cause then if I do, then I look like the jerk for not having trust in them when they haven't really earned it from a consumer and customer viewpoint. It's the little things that really make a difference people. Simple as that. It's not that hard to count, not that hard to double check. You have us waiting at least 20 minutes in the drive thru, I expect a complete and accurate order! Today's order, I selected the most ALLOWED cups of sauce for the meal I ordered, which was 5 cups of sauce; I received only three. Not only that but the large fry cup is almost always low on the actual fries, its like a medium inside of a large cup; again, what the fuck people. STINGY written all over this damn place. Really shitty when compared to other fast food places such as Jack in the Box and McDonald's; how the fuck do they have better drive thru and curbside wait times, and better order accuracy. I've only received a select few of inaccurate orders. When this happens I expect a full fucking refund, and the meal remade correctly, again free of charge, during that same visit at MINIMUM. Along with some kind of compensation for a free meal for the next visit; but again, this place had STINGY written all over it. Every time i dine in i sit by the window / door and the workers always decide to come and SPRAY window cleaner and CHEMICALS right next to me as i am enjoying my meal, i immediately felt the spray and breeze of chemicals hitting my face and food and was super disappointed that i could no longer enjoy my $40 meal, what a waste of food/ money!! Let me preface this review by stating that I both clearly and fundamentally understand that this particular CFA location has only been operational for just about 2 weeks now. With that being said, this was my complete experience-- Firstly, from the time I entered the line, to the time my order was taken took about 50 minutes. From the time I ordered to the time I received my food however, only took 7 minutes... but it still took another 5 minutes after that to escape the wretched grasp of the drive-thru line. In total, my experience from beginning to end took an unreasonably uncomfortable 62 minutes. I probably should have exited the line sooner but... alas... when the craving for Chick-Fil-A hits, you gotta roll with it. (Side note: this location does NOT currently use the Chick-Fil-A "One" app. Which is a total bummer.) The staff was super friendly, although you could definitely tell many of them were still getting their "sea legs." I was sure to be patient and even repeated my order to the young lady twice just to ensure nothing would be mistaken. Unfortunately for me however, while 90% of my order was correct, a few items where missing or not given... and the food came out luke-warm at best. I know that there is a learning curve when attempting to operate a new business... but we need to iron out this curve guys! I have been to many a "Chick-Fil-A" where the line was long as heck, but I was in and out within 30 minutes max. While I have high hopes for this location, I think I am best waiting out all the hype before returning again to give it another chance. read more

We ordered a delux chicken sandwich and a spicy delux sandwich and a side Mac n Cheese. First time visiting any Chick-fil-A. The spicy delux is our favorite. We walked up, because the drive thru was very busy. Tops of line to delivery of food was 20 minutes.. During this time, we noticed 3 customers complaining about not getting an item or right item. Uh oh.. We were given our items- on appearance- seemed right. So we left. Much to our chagrin- the iced tea was sweet not unsweetened (ticket was right, though). The Mac n cheese was burnt and dry. Unlike Mickey D's, you can use all your accumulated points at once and, I always get something free. One time, I placed an order for $75 and it was all free because of the rewards program. I encourage everyone to sign up! I am a Drive thru regular. Drive thru experience isn't always great. I get uncomfortable when the outside staff is goofing off, not paying attention, and possibly offending the customers. For example: A staffer was clearly heard to have an issue with soda drinkers since she was not a soda drinker herself. I don't want to know that. And, I don't want to know what a staffer will be wearing at a party after work. I don't NEED to know that. Imagine if I went into Chick-fil-A, got to the cashier, thinking-thinking about what to get and then say, 'I'm going to Target to buy petroleum jelly!!' Wtf, right? Exactly... Anyway, I try to carry-out from inside now, much more pleasant and professional. Staffers working in sync with one another, attentive, and focused. Went here a few days ago and staff was extremely friendly my son got a chicken sandwich combo, my daughter got a kids nugget meal I got their chicken bites meal and my husband got their tenders meal... my bites were not as crunchy as they have been in the past. Was lucky enough to place an order with the actually had the ordering activated so my experience was pretty good. We left about 10 minutes after placing our order we did about 10 minutes in the car than 10 minutes at the walk up curbside pick up area, it was a little hectic for the workers however the girl who helped us was extremely fast and friendly as well as professional. The food was amazing and surprisingly better than expected. We ordered chicken sandwiches nuggets and Mac and cheese as well as a side of tortilla soup (not great, at all) aside from the soup we were so happy. I'd never and I mean never wait in that line. Kudos to those who do and boy o boy I pray that you had the fresh experience we did. All and all I'm happy with them and the quality of the food as well as the service. From someone who used to drive to San Jose all the time just for it, you can't go wrong with Chick-Fil-A. Always great customer service and delicious food. This Salinas location is no exception. I wish they had better control of the traffic since it basically wraps around Main Street and it took us about 1 hour and 20 minutes to get our food but it's worth the wait. Food was good like always, I love how their fries at this particular location are more crispy than others I've been to. I always order my Spicy Deluxe meal with Bacon, large fries and a side of 30 nuggets to share with my husband. Polynesian, House, and Ranch are the holy trinity of their sauces. I have yet to be disappointed at any location. By the looks of it, the traffic might not slow down anytime soon, it's always going to be busy that's a given. I have a feeling though once everyone in Salinas and the surrounding areas get their fix, the traffic will become more manageable. Until then, I don't mind coming every now and then if I have the time to wait in line. For some of you who are complaining about getting turned away after 9:00 PM, look around. It's pretty obvious the line is big enough already to serve every single customer within the 9 and 10 o'clock timeframe. If they continue taking on more cars, those people will not get to be served and I'm sure you'd rather be turned away then have to wait in line and later told they can no longer serve you since they are closing. Common sense. Overall, I'm glad Chick-Fil-A is in Salinas now and maybe in the future we can get a second location because that will surely benefit everyone in the long run. read more

I was in the area for an appointment and was excited to go because this one opened about a year ago but is 30 minutes away. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the smell of bleach. While I was waiting in line, I noticed a picture on the wall beside the cashiers that was streaked and splattered with something. A nice young man took my order and when I looked down, the counter was wet and dirty. At this point, I'm pretty turned off but I sat down and waited for my food. My nuggets and fries came quickly and were pretty good but a little greasy. I ate and headed home, which is about 20 miles, during which time my stomach began feeling upset. I been to Chick-Fil-A's from Portland to San Diego and the worst service by far I have ever received was at the Salinas branch. Yes, I been here many times before and never had a problem, but usually it takes one incident to really affect someone's perception of a certain place. It's very normal in the food service industry for products to be misplaced, forgotten about, etc. However, something I am not familiar with is being disrespected because of forgotten items and that's what happened today. Something as little as Chick-Fil-A grilled nuggets missing from my bag warranted a barrage of accusations from what appeared to be a supervisor or manager. From "how do I know you're not hiding the food in your car?" And "well, I refuse to give you the nuggets because the receipts don't match" even though the receipts matched(bag receipt, paper receipt, and mobile app receipt), these accusations made for an uncomfortable conversation in front of other customers. Being from GA I was used to great customer service from chic fil a . This Salinas location was the Worst chic fil et I've ever been to. I ordered over $100 worth of food for my family after driving from San Jose airport to Salinas just to buy chic fil et for my Cali family . This was after a long flight and waiting two hours for a rental car we were hungry. Since it was a big order they told me to wait in the parking spot. I waited and waited but never received my order. I thought maybe because it was a big order. Then I realize that they gave my order to the wrong car. I Waited 1/2 hour to finally receive my order. Was harassed in the parking lot while waiting on the order by scammers trying to sell ice cream. No apologies from staff and after calling to complain the owner brushed me off in a letter with a reply that "we are sorry we couldn't resolve your problem". Not going there ever again.
