I've lived here for 10 years now and it consistently has the slowest service. The staff is friendly, but is young and poorly managed. I've visited this location a few times and outside of the parking lot experience during peak times (more specifically lunchtime), I've always had a pretty good experience. I usually place my order via the CFA app and my order is ready at the designated pickup area when I arrive. The staff are friendly and make sure to greet me and other customers which is nice. The food is consistently good and fresh. The only downside can be the parking situation as this place can be pretty busy so it can be a bit of an obstacle course but all in all a good place for some good food. read more

Employees: Lora (drive thru window) & Willie (drive thru order taker) At approximately 10am this morning on St. Simon's island, we went to CFA! And boy oh boy was this a mistake. There are 5 people in this car and we were starting our road trip home and 4 of us wanted food from CFA and each mobile ordered it (do not say, "well you could've just made one big order," I kid you not we are the poorest girls in the world and that would not have worked on one payment method thank you very much). We got into the drive thru line to tell the guy, Willie, that we had a mobile order for so and so and so and so but he proceeds to tell us that we can only do 2 mobile orders at a time. Therefore the solution is to have to go around the tiny acre of land this CFA is on in our big SUV and waste time to complete the last 2 orders in our car. This restriction has never happened to any of the 4 silver CFA members in our car before. So then we complied and submitted the first two orders and stayed in line like we are suppose to. We come up to the drive thru window and Lora is there. Oh gosh here we go. Lora gives us our passengers food first (thank god) and seems to think that that is the end of it. It is not; It actually is only the start. So we say something like, "oh we had another mobile order for [driver's name]". And she says, "What's the name?". Anger comes over me. So we reason with her a bit and repeat the name, she pulls it up on the computer thingy there and says something like, "oh ok the order didn't clear so it's $16.[something]." We say, "well we already paid; *shows CFA app on phone*" She says, "oh ok, never mind then." Then we have to pull up to an arbitrary spot on the side of the building because one of the two original mobile orders is not ready yet because it seemed that Willie did not put through one of them smh. More time wasted. Before we leave the window we try to tell her we also have two more mobile orders and she reiterates that we would have to go around again to complete them. Ok, so a bit of a flash forward, we've communicated our 4 mobile orders with about 67% confidence that we don't need any more hassle to go around again. A bit of a misunderstanding of where to go, we had to pull up a bit more so as to not block the exit of the property for other cars to go. We felt like we were in the way, didn't know exactly where to go, and we slightly entered the drive thru line again but there was space in front of us for other cars to actually enter the line. Anyways after a bit of waiting and complaining and annoyance we get our food! All of the orders plus someone else's which just shows how much they don't have their shit together. And the cherry on top: as we are pulling away, checking the food, and rolling the window up, the (nice) lady and Willie talk to each other just outside the building and just loud enough for us to hear and say something like, "did you tell them we could only take two mobile orders per thing?" Talking about your customers in front of our faces and trying to cover for your fuck up for not putting through the exact two mobile orders we asked for in the first place?!?! Willie seems to be the root of the problem. Sorry for the accidentally accepting your food order Frannie and they are still falling apart because they are dummies who double wrapped my burrito!? SMH wow. In conclusion/TL;DR, this CFA has a mistake-centric ideology that makes life really hard. I will not be returning ever again. read more

I have always been loyal to Chick-Fil-A and mostly never had a bad experience. But this is literally the worst location in the world. There are no employees directing the traffic in their congested parking lot. Also , the employees are very rude and unprofessional. Usually, chickfila has employees going from car to car taking orders so that the drive thru will go quickly. It's the opposite here. They only have one drive thru intercom , while most have 2. The food was ok, but not worth waiting over an hour in the drive thru. It was literally wrapped around twice. It wouldn't be like this if they had good employees and management. This was not a good experience for us. Our food was ok, but it definitely wasn't up to the standard we have come to expect from Chick Fil-a; everyone's fries were cold and the boxes were only about 2/3 full, plus our chicken sandwiches were flat and dry. The biggest problem, however, was the service. Not only was it slow (the app even checked in saying it had been awhile and wanted to know if we had received our food), but we ordered dine in from the app and entered our table number as per usual. Instead of bringing it out to us, they shouted at us from the counter in a way that I can only describe as rudely. That in and of itself is not a huge deal, but it was also all packaged in to-go bags and drink carriers which wasn't very welcoming (despite the large stickers that said dine-in on the side). I wanted to share my experience with this particular chick fila on Thursday of 6/10/2023. I went through the drive through and ordered a sandwich meal. I had no problem at this point of my experience, the lady at the window was very polite too me. But when I had arrived home to eat I noticed it was very cold, I thought maybe it cooled down from the ride home, but I had eaten about most of the sandwich and looked at it and noticed it was raw! I almost threw up when I was just sick with food poisoning about a week ago. ! This is where it escalated fast! I tried calling the restaurant to see if I could get a refund or a new sandwich. No one answered, I called one more time after that and still no one answered. the third time I called It rang for about 3 seconds and went to voice mail making me think someone just declined the call. Unbelievable how fast this restaurant went from 4-5 stars to what it is now. Restaurant is filthy! I was the only customer in the waiting room, every single table was trashed and garbage all over the floor. Has to sit a the least dirty table. Part of the dining area is converted into a storage room partially separated by partitions. Workers were behind the counter chitchatting while looking out at a trashed dining area. No one even thinking about grabbing a broom or wiping off a table. What appeared to be a manager sitting in the newly converted storage room(part of the dining area) obviously not interested in the way the restaurant looked like or what the employees were doing vs not doing. Listen very carefully to what I'm about to say.... Did you know that Chick-fil-A has breakfast sandwiches with either fried or grilled chicken breast?!?! That's right. Those kind of accommodations are likely to make a common man like myself say, "Screw you ham, and sausage. I'm a chicken breast morning meat kind if guy now". This location boasts a drive thru, as well as the distinction of being significantly less congested than the normal Chick-fil-A, because it's on St. Simon's Island and removed from the rest of the world. So, you can pull up to the drive thru, order your breakfast sandwiches, eat them, drive around aimlessly on the island for a while, take a nap on the beach, get a chicken sandwich for lunch, eat it, fall back asleep on the beach, wake up and feel guilty about your life choices, but then remember that you don't care what anyone thinks about you anyways because you got this breakfast meat thing figured out, order two more chicken sandwiches and then sleep in the car for the night. read more

I've visited St. Simon several times and this last trip was my first and probably my last visits to this particular Chick-fil-A, this is based on 2 breakfast experiences. First morning girlfriend and I weren't extremely hungry so we decided to munch at Chick. We went in to enjoy our breakfast but sadly we didn't. The chicken minis were cold, dried out punny nuggets that seemed like the day before, bread was cold seemed stale and taters were cold too. Employees seemed miserable to be there; they would say the common Chick courtesies but without a smile and bland face and this was all the employees that morning. Second morning we decided to give them a second chance and thought things would be different but it was the exact same thing for breakfast. Cold food, miserable employees and to top it off they were arguing out loud among each other. The employees were McDonald's employees in disguise as Chick employees. Both days this place was busy so I don't understand how both days the food could be crap. This was a beach mood killer.....maybe the employees are miserable because they're not at the BEACH!!!! BAM, solved the problem move the chick to the beach and problem solved. Seriously this is the second crappiest Chick I've been to and the only reason why people don't skip this join is because it's a Chick-fil-A. I asked for the sandwich we had paid for, and ordered an additional 12 piece nuggets- no apology or "we're sorry for the inconvenience". The young kid dropped the sandwich pouch, sauce and ketchup packets on the counter. I paid for the nuggets and asked for a bag please- which he handed me saying, "Thank you, come again."
