I have tried curbside, drive through, carry out, and dine in and all are terrible with curbside being the absolute worst. I live in this area, and am sad to say that I am done with this location and will not be back! Today there were so many staff members behind the counter they were actually tripping over each other. I'm not a big fan of Chick-fil-A to begin with but my wife requested to try it. Granted this restaurant has been opened less than a month but the over management of the place fails to deliver. Upon my arrival there was a double line of cars stretching back over a block outside of the parking lot with police to control the traffic. I had entered the lot and parked and proceeded to enter and I was told due to COVID the dining room was closed, I told them I wasn't eating there but to simply order take out. I was told I couldn't order inside but had to order from their app and to wait in a spot for my food. I had to go across the road to download the app because within close proximity of the building, produced a dead spot. I even tried using their wifi, but it told me there was no internet connection. I ordered my food across the street and provided the parking spot number when requested. Now I waited for my food, 15 min turned to 30 when I asked someone what is happening to my food, I was told they were busy. Chick-fil-A serves fried chicken and fries, it's not like this is a Michelin 3 star restaurant cooking epicurean specialties. After 40 mins I began to grow impatient for my food as others stood by the door waiting, one woman had been there nearly an hour. I now realized why the drive thru lanes were so long, if folks were waiting in line 30-60 mins for food. We were all told there were glitches with the equipment, busy, etc. There is a reason why restaurants have soft openings, and to work out kinks, but Chick-fil-A in their zeal to open and make money, failed to do this and the customers have probably been suffering all along. There is a PDQ just up the street that serves the same fried chicken and waffle fries. For the unsuspecting folks out there who think Chick-fil-A is worth the time and money, believe me it's NOT. I've been wanting to visit this Chick-fil-A since it opened but figured I'd let the hubbub die down before I actually ventured into the drive thru. I read through the reviews but didn't let that deter me from hopping into the drive thru line one day while out shopping. I had been wondering how the curbside pick up would work since the line always seemed to be extremely long but I quickly got my question answered when I saw the 2 drive thru lines and then right next to that was the lane specially designed for curbside pick up. I'll definitely be trying that out next. Overall, I didn't find the wait to be unbearable, and I did wait about 45 minutes but I can tell you there were A LOT of cars and these employees were making moves. I was very impressed with the ease and speed of the ordering and for those concerned with not having a menu, I noticed there were multiple signs up with the QR code you could scan with your phone camera to get to the menu. I liked that I could have also placed my order via the chick fil a app in line for pick up when I got up to the window. We ordered, paid and got our food and we're on our way. It was delicious as always and I tried the wrap while my daughter for the nuggets. DELICIOUS! The wrap was amazing, so fresh and I felt like I was making a healthy decision eating it, even though I was adding some ranch to it. I genuinely wish I could give this place than 1 star. I HATE giving bad reviews. I've only does it a handful of times. But this place is the worst. the root cause of it is no one cares that they are awful. it's nothing to wait 1 hour to get through the drive thru. I've been here 5 times. I try to support local businesses (I realize it's a franchise but it is owned by a local person) they have never got my order correct. I want this place to be better. This location is not on point yet. The food quality is not the greatest compared to other locations. I use the online ordering and they usually are missing something from the order. Fries have been tasted old and cold, to completely missing from my order. Added pickles to the sandwich a few times now and they don't add the pickles. I have never had a disappointing trip to Chicfila until today. I understand this is a "newer" store but still then hire better team leads and managers. I was in line for 45min. And four cars behind me were served before I was. I don't mind if we have a big or difficult order but it was only two meals no special orders except for my drink. the girl put it in as an Arnald palmer more sweet tea then lemonade heavy ice. It came out with light ice more lemonade than sweet tea. I asked for this to be fixed and sat there for another ten minutes until I got out and ask for it myself and they handed me the same drink. mobile ordering wait time average is anywhere from 25 mins to 40 mins, definitely the longest by far in the tampa bay area. traffic flow is horrid through the parking lot and in the drive thru. customer service is not a problem. they serve with respect and no attitude ever. though the staff could add "pep to their step" aka walk with purpose and look like they are trying to reduce the crowd. in regards to food quality and order correctness, not a problem at all. read more

This is my second time at this Chick-fil-A and my second bad experience. I've been on weeknights around 5pm both times and waited over an hour for food. The first time I was trapped in the drive-thru for over an hour; this time I ordered ahead and sat in a parking spot for almost an hour. This location in Riverview is a nightmare to access. The best bet is to come down the service behind the Texas Roadhouse and then sit in the incredibly long lines of ChikFilA. Expect to sit in your line for at least 20-30 minutes before having someone take your order. It is not the employees' fault by any means - it is definitely a poorly thought out location and access. Tori is the only reason this place is getting more than a one-star rating. I've visited here many times, at different times of the day, drive-thru, dine-in, and even curbside ordering. The other employees here are always rude to customers and each other! I've never been to someplace that's so disrespectful. There was a time when I was doing a dine-in order. Tori was the only employee on the register. Another young girl employee came up and interrupted us as I was ordering begging Tori to call this curbside order because they didn't put in their parking spot #. Wait, you think it's okay to interrupt the only employee helping out this long line of customers for them to make a call that you sounds like your job? And this girl didn't care at all. She was interrupting me as I was trying to place an order. This isn't the only time I've watched this. I'll come up to the counter and the employees aren't even looking or helping the customers. Instead, they're all on their phones. There have been other times I've come in and watched, actually watched, your employees come up behind someone making the drinks and purposely bump into them! There is zero teamwork here unless they seem to be buddy-buddy. The only employee I've ever, EVER witnessed going above and beyond in their work is Tori. I can't believe visit after visit that I'm seeing Tori less and less and these other rude employees in her place. I've watched them being disrespectful and rude to her, even bumping into her on purpose. When she asks for help and I'm waiting in line, not a single one of your employees will step up even though they're standing there on their phones doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Not only that, they will roll their eyes after telling her no and turning their backs on her. This place needs a serious overhaul. This spot is new in the Gibsonton area and I have been there twice since it's a new building. Both times that I've visited the food was ok for a Chick-fil-A restaurant I've had better. I always order fries with no salt for the freshness of the food however I still received lukewarm fries with salt. The service of the employees was amazing both times. The food was given in a timely manner but considering it wasn't exactly what I ordered this part of the service could be improved. Concerning the manners of COVID-19, I would say that this restaurant does follow some Covid-19 procedures by wearing a mask when dealing with customers.
