I have ordered food here multiple times. in the last year i have only ordered burgers twice. the first time was during the pickle burger drink combo. the burger wasn't undercooked it was simply raw. i called and let them know and asked not for a refund but instead a replacement, a chance to do it right. got it and the burger was fully cooked this time but even still wasn't great. i wasn't dramatic or frantic about it and simply believed this was a rare error that i unluckily fell victim to. fast forward a couple months to today i order another burger. again pink in some parts and raw in others with nothing but onion chunks and cheese. not what i ordered and certainly not what i expected. would not recommend ordering anything other then the slushies or chili-dog. the slushies are amazing and same with the hot dog. read more

Went to Sonic in 10/13/23 and placed my order on the app. Ordered $35 worth of food, received maybe $15 of it and a a few incorrect items (like 2 large cheesy tots?! I thought they were the chili coney dog I ordered and found out I was very wrong when we got home.) I called the restaurant, no answer. Reached out to corporate and they stated they would send to the manager of the restaurant and also credit me $10 and a coupon coupons.. received nothing- no credit, no phone call. I've been a customer of sonic drive in since 1980 and after tonight will never return. I stopped by around 9pm on my way home from the airport and waited after ordering 30 minutes. I noticed no food was going to any cars and pushed the button to see if I needed to go in and pick it up. Nobody answered the call but someone came and threw a small bag of food I paid $20 for and ALREADY tipped. The "large"onion rings wasn't even half full and the rest of the order was cold, dried out and obviously thrown together. I'll never return again! read more

Okay, so I'm not big on giving poor reviews and lord knows I LOVE Sonic but as many times as I try this location they just continue to disappoint. From rude service staff to broken ordering kioks I've literally never had a good experience at this particular Sonic. A few of my experiences are epically bad. Once I even called corporate. Apparently nothing was done. Why do you keep going back you ask... because 1.) I'm optimistic that they will change. 2.) There aren't any Sonics closer and 3.) My friends have you ever had a Sonic Cherry Limeade? If you aren't in a hurry I suggest finding another location. If you are I suggest skipping this location since my husband and I just waited 1/2 an hour for a drink, tots and hotdog. He called to ask when we might expect our order and the server didn't even answer she just arrived at our drivers window with the order, a HUGE attitude and no explanation or apologies. Okay then, guess I'll just put this cash tip back in my pocket, take the food I ordered and be on my way. (Didn't say anything, just did it). This Sonic is strictly my last resort emergency Sonic. If possible go elsewhere. If it's a Route 44/Tots emergency go but don't expect timely polite service and be ready to micromanage by calling to check up on your order. I love Sonic! So many options! Nothing here is healthy. Totally amazing. Let down: no one in roller skates Plus: their ice cream is good. Let down: everyone can hear how much food you're ordering because the speakers are super loud. The machine you speak into is a little rickety too. I love their burgers. Their fries are ok. There are only 4 total cars here now. 25 min later after asking where our food is, they run out cold food. Apparently reheated in a microwave and ran it back out. The French Fries were over cooked and extremely salty. Those were the better parts of the meal. The cheeseburgers were cold upon delivery. We heard the person in the car next to us return his cheeseburger because it was cold and we did the same. When the waitperson returned with the new burgers they were as cold or more so than the first burgers. We were under a time constraint so we decided to not return them again. 2/12/19 @ 4:56PM CHK# 191 I stopped at this location for dinner, I ordered my meal & the gentleman taking my order repeated it back to correctly & precisely as I had requested my order to be made. Dylan came to my car & repeated what was on the ticket that was attached to my bag & confirmed that it was exactly as I had ordered it. I get all the home & my meal was made incorrectly, there was both cheese & tomatoes on my sandwich. I did not eat the food & being that I was dissatisfied w/ what I received, I called the location back & Dylan listened to my complaints & informed me that I could have them remake my food. I passed & I requested a refund & let him know that I would be by the very next day for my money back. He assured me that there would be no issues. Unfortunately, the next day came & it was anything but easy sailing w/ retrieving my money back. I pulled up & asked for a manager, Zoe came out, I let her know who I was & she said she remembered me calling yesterday. She takes my receipt, offers me a drink, I decline & I wait patiently. Only for Maria, another manager, to approach my car, she is pleasant & lets me know b/c, of it being the next day, she has to contact her GM for approval. I let her know I understand & wait again for her to call, in a few minutes she brings the phone back & lets me know that he wishes to speak w/ me. I take the phone & Marcos introduced himself & apologized for the mistake but, informs me that I would not be able to get a refund. I inform him that I had already been promised a refund & that it was poor customer service to attempt to punish the customer for the lack of care that was taken w/ one's food & the underappreciation of the time to come both days. He pushed back & insisted all he could do was remake my food, I declined again, informed him that I would never be eating from this location again. After, a bit more conversation, Marcos became very irritated & disrespectful w/ his tone & verbiage but, extended the offer of a refund & that would be the last time, attemptin to make it seem like I did this before. I told him I felt disrespected w/ how he was speaking to me & that as the face of a company, that it is inappropriate to make customers feel as if they are not valued or respected. Pretty busy on a Saturday night. Outdoor seating area was clean and employees constantly out there making sure tables are clean and garbage is empty. Previously saw a review that awnings not big enough to adequately cover car window area but the awning actually extended halfway over car unless large SUV. Okay so after that being said our food came out pretty quickly but I certainly would have waited a lot longer if the food was better. I tried the Chicago dog and my husband had the bacon and cheese dog and garlicky cheese dog with sautéed onions. Side of fries and chocolate fudge shake. So the hot dogs were so small they were literally devoured by the bun which wasn't that big. Hot dogs were boiled or microwaved and not grilled which was a huge disappointment. The hot dogs were advertised as premium but they were terrible and cold. Specialty buns were actually 2 half rolls so everything fell through the bottom. I maybe should have had their burger instead but unfortunately they will not get my business again. I would rather have a PBJ sandwich and I don't like those so I guess that gets my point across. $20+ wasted tonight! read more

I only go for .99 hotdog night. Not all beef dogs... But what do you expect for .99. Service is slow but the waiters are nice. The water is not filtered so the drinks all taste off. I have never once been to this location and gotten my order correctly. Not once in 6 years. My daughter wanted a corn dog and we were on the go. So I stopped at the only fast food place with corn dogs. Thankfully my kids got their food. Not correctly but they have food to eat. My order on the other hand not all there. I had never been to a Sonic fast food establishment, as there aren't that many locations in South Florida (plus, I try to stay away from fast food), but my opportunity finally came when driving back to Miami from Tampa. Not too long after leaving the Hyde Park area, my kiddo said she was hungry and wanted something for dinner. Since we were on the road, driving through a tropical storm and it was late, I did not want to waste time with a sit-down restaurant. While on the road, I saw on the next exit that there was a Sonic location, and I was curious. Apparently, my daughter had been to a Sonic before, or just had seen the tempting commercials, but she was super-excited that we were getting Sonic for dinner. Unlike other fast food places, there is no long drive-thru lane that snakes around a building. There are these individual pull-in spaces with monitors, you park your car diagonally from one, and place your order. While looking at the screen, you can see the items that you ordered, make sure everything is accurate, and minutes later, the food is brought over to your car window by an employee. It feels like a more personalized experience than sitting in a long lane, while cars pile up, and you're impatiently waiting. It was also nice to be in a covered area, as I didn't have to worry about getting wet in the rain, while placing my order. My daughter and I both got chicken sandwiches (one an Asiago Caesar Chicken Club, the other a Classic Grilled Chicken Sandwich), fries, and a drink. She got a cherry limeade to drink, and I kept it simple with a soft drink. The natural-cut fries were nice, hot and crispy, and the sandwich was actually tasty! I am not sure what they put in their tomatoes, but they actually had flavor (or maybe it's the fact that they are ripened tomatoes, unlike most fast food restaurants, which give you unripened, dry tomatoes). The chicken was juicy, moist, and the lettuce was fresh, not floppy like in other fast food establishments. Perhaps my daughter and I were really hungry, but we actually thought our sandwich was one of the best fast food establishment chicken sandwiches we had ever had. If I could give no stars, I would. I had to go to the emergency room on Monday night September 19th. On our way home my husband wanted to grab a large drink. At exactly 11:47 pm we pulled into the Sonic drive in on Big Bend Road. We sat and sat waiting for someone to wait on us. No one ever did. We noticed right before we pulled away at a few minutes until midnight that the employee there was looking out the window at us like she was waiting on us to leave. We noticed while we were sitting there that there was a car waiting, most likely for the employee to get off of work. We ended up leaving after not being waited on and thought that was one of the most unprofessional things we've seen someone do. So living in Miami, Sonic isn't everywhere like it is in other places. So whenever I take road-trips to Tampa I stop by one of the many along the way. I was in a hurry to get back to Miami, so I ordered my cherry-limeade slushie, and some tots. I received soda instead of a slushie. Which did not fulfill my craving.
