Everyone knows that Chik-fil-A is known for their outstanding customer service as well as their efficiency. So it was a bit of a surprise to see how difficult the drive-thru line is to navigate. It's tucked back behind other buildings, so you have to work your way through the parking lot to get in line. Not ideal, but dedicated fans will go through much worse to get their hands on the coveted chicken sandwich and lemonade. Aside from that, the service and the food are fine. The employees are friendly, my food is always good, my one issue with this location is they are notoriously the slowest Chick-fil-A I've ever been to. I've been here multiple times over the past couple of years a frequent other locations in the salt lake valley but for some reason this one is the slowest. They always mix up orders here and then look at you like you're the crazy one. They need to check better to ensure they are handing out the correct orders. I fear it can't be that hard. I don't know what happened to this location, but the past several times I've gone it has been awful. They consistently give out food that is cold or obviously old. We ordered a Cobb salad with no corn and grilled chicken due to dietary restrictions and they gave us a Cobb salad as it comes with friend chicken. Obviously it was premade and they couldn't bother to actually read the order when packing our food. The fries and nuggets were cold (again.) When we called to see if it could be exchanged or get a credit they put us on hold and never came back to the phone. We finally ended up hanging up after about 10 minutes. The thing is, we weren't actually "on hold" we could still hear the employees in the background talking. It was very slow when we went so there was really no excuse for the service and food quality to be this poor. Honestly, I just need to ditch this location entirely. Recently (12/21/24) ordered a catering platter of 200 chicken nuggets for our Christmas party. Picked up the nuggets on Saturday and warmed them on Sunday. Unfortunately they gave us a medium platter and not a large (honest mistake) like we had ordered and paid for. We didn't catch the mistake until Sunday due to the nuggets being in a tin. Called today and was offered a $40 credit or I could pick up 80 nuggets rather than just refunding the order in full. Their manager, Megan, asked if we wanted her name for the negative review on their location which we accepted. Not only were we inconvenienced by not having enough nuggets for our party but now we get to enjoy being inconvenienced a second time by having to go to their location for a $40 credit. read more

They constantly mess up orders at this Riverton, Utah location. So, I double-check, but not close enough apparently. I ordered 2 salads and the top one had chicken and so I thought I was good to go. Unfortunately, after driving 15 minutes home, I discovered my 2nd salad had no chicken. I'm not paying $10 for lettuce, so I drove 15 minutes back. Their response? Manager laughed and said, "I don't know why I find this so funny." Me, "Neither do I" . No courtesy drink or a coupon for my trouble. Just laughter. Decided to give this location a try because I haven't been to it yet since it's opened. I was assuming it would be just like all of my past experiences at Chick Fil A but sadly this time was different, and in a bad way. We went in at 8 pm on a Thursday night, so I didn't expect it to be too busy which it wasn't. We got right up to order since no one was in line and the employee at the register seemed more interested in restocking the cups/lids than helping us. We stood there for a while then finally she took our order. We went to look for a place to sit and there was fries and garbage all over the restaurant. You could tell we had just missed the dinner rush just by the looks of the tables and floors. We finally found a clean table in the corner. Once we got our food it was just as good as it always is, except my chicken strips were on the cold side, not hot like they usually are. After we ate we were walking our trays to throw out our garbage and all of the garbages were overflowing, we couldn't even throw our trash away. Even the tops of the garbage bins were overflowing because people had no where else to put their trash. For how new this location is it's a shame to see how messy it was! I haven't seen a restaurant this messy probably ever. Hopefully they can work out the kinks because I'd love to come back, hopefully my next experience will be better! read more

By far the worst customer experience ever!! If this location wants positive feedback then do your job of providing what a customer orders in the correct manner. This location cries about how a customer has left a complaint and feedback on orders being wrong and more recent on a dried out grilled chicken that was burnt. The price of grilled chicken is expensive and YES I will complain because I also would like my orders to be provided as exceptional and NOT burnt or dried out! I'll definitely give this place a four star review. I'm not expecting any fine dinning experience or gourmet menu. We've never had any issues with them being out of products, that being said we don't go there early and ask for anything out of the breakfast menu. The staff is definitely young but it's good to see them in a good setting to develop discipline. The food is consistent with their other locations and this particular restaurant is very clean. Tonight so completely out of the regular for most Chick-fil-A. But tonight was an epic FAILst the Mountain View Village location ‼ not sure I can even say say they got one thing right tonight-- not customer service, not my order, not the redo, not the bagging and only one-- "my pleasure" and it was grumpy and not believable. Only one good thing I saw was a female employee with long very very light blond hair was cleaning her heart out in the dining room. For starters the women taking my order was surly had nothing good to say about the seasonal shake, when I asked about the chicken tostada soup (it's new to me) I asked her about it and she said "I guess it's pretty much just like it sounds". Then the reader wouldn't scan my app. I asked if I needed a number she was like no-- I'll just bring you your food-- we'll she brought chicken noodle, no napkins were in the sack, there was a spoon for soup but no fork for the salad, then once the soup was replaced no tortillas strips for the "tortillas soup" The creamy salsa dressing was so hot that I couldn't eat the salad-- and I eat spicy food‼ the salad usually comings with a couple little packets on the side to add to complete the salad. All in all I had to go back to the counter 4 times. And still ended up with no napkins. All this I didn't get my rewards points, I only ordered TWO things and it cost $13.40. So bad for fast food-- I could have had fresh food fast for better service, food and less money read more

So, I'll give 3 STARS because the chain is typically amazing, clean, organized, refreshingly polite. However, I have to agree with Logan's review on this particular location. They also didn't have SPICY chicken in the morning. The girl in the drive through also acted like this was normal. I've been to Jordan Landing, West Valley City and Fort Union who have no issues with waffle fries or spicy chicken in the morning. Just a head's up. No issues with cleanliness or customer service; just frustrating they're not uniform with what is available in the morning VS afternoon. read more

Ordered curbside pick up, which was more difficult than it needed to be. (Their app could use some help.) They don't offer an approximate time your order will be ready. Arrived and had to let them know I was there. After about 5 more minutes (maybe 20 minutes after I placed my order), I got notice that someone was coming out with my food. They got my order right, and the food was as good as it usually is. However, there were no napkins, no catsup or fry sauce, and no utensils for my salad. read more
