The menu at the parking stall trying to operate was confusing. I wanted to tip but it wasn't able to because I couldn't figure it out. I'm not old either I'm 26. So if it's hard for me to use I could see it causing other people issues who are new to sonic. I love the fries, burgers and their shakes. Their tater tots are over rated they taste like home made tots nothing special. the dipping sauce isn't the best either. but I will say their service is absolutely fantastic and fast. Before my payment went through they had someone at my window with the food. the food is also affordable I didn't feel a pit in my stomach after the food was all gone. There was no regret at all! It was sad that you can't eat inside tho. They have the inside closed off which isn't the best when you don't want to make a mess in your car, and the out door seating is taken up. the food is yummy but I wouldn't say it's 4 star yummy. read more

I seriously feel so bad for the staff here, the drive thru is always so long and it takes forever to get your order placed, taken and served to you and it's not because the staff is being lazy or working inefficiently. My family and I come here multiple times a week all different times of day and there is frequently only one worker working the entire establishment. I'm not one to write a review, but as a longtime fan of Sonic this location has really gone downhill. I frequent this location for drinks mostly and the amount of time it takes to basically get a sprite is not great. With very few cars in the lot, it sometimes will take 20 minutes to get my order taken. I've gotten drinks with sticky spills on them. The food is good and I love the variety of drinks, but the slow service is driving me away. read more

We tried the patty melt that Sonic has been advertising on TV . Let's just say it doesn't look like the picture . The burger was good but the onions were suppose to be grilled . Our onions were raw . I ended up taking mine off they were so strong & raw . Grilled onions are what makes the sandwich . We got onion rings . These were the best ! sweet & crispy batter . I would come back for the onion rings. We tried to get a refill on our drinks - they don't have the drink machines in the lobby area of the restaurant they told us no due to Covid . Well, it's kind of alarming when you get food for your kids and the 7 year old's hot dog has a piece of plastic in the dead center of the "meat". I called the national customer service line and they told me they would send me a coupon for a free hot dog. I declined telling them we most likely would not be frequenting Sonic again since they apparently don't take health and safety very seriously. I gave them two stars because my kids really like the slushes and my other son has taken a liking to their new soft pretzel twists. Unfortunately we won't be getting either of those for a while because I can't stomach the thought that my kid ate PLASTIC INSIDE HIS HOT DOG!!! I got me a salad next door at Kneaders and I was being lazy and didn't want to drive to Arctic Circle. I probably should have driven to Arctic Circle! Pretty fast service. My order was correct. I got a small strawberry shake and it was just the right amount for me. I love that they have a mini size bc my daughter always wants her own but she doesn't eat much. This has got to be the worst Sonic. I seem to never have trouble with other sonics and have troubles with this one all the time. Too bad this one is in the city where we live. It's amazing how many times the app says it's not available for on line ordering (this just happened and is at least the fourth time it's happened). Then when you call they don't answer the phone. I called twice and it just rang and rang until it handed up. If you then go to the store and explain the app isn't working and ask if they will honor the specials on the app they tell you no. When we do get the app to work and order we more often than not have something in the order wrong. It's frustrating to get home and open a sandwich expecting one type and find something completely different. That has happened several times. read more

I never received my order because the service was so slow. I placed my order at 9:21 am through the mobile app. I arrived and checked in at 9:25 am. I understand I was 1-3 minutes early. I waited for 5 minutes and then used the red call button to request a refund. I was told they were on their way out. After waiting another minute I had to leave because I was now late for work. It should be noted there was only one car in the drive thru and one in a parking stall when I arrived. Mobile orders placed asap say they'll be ready in 5-7 minutes. I left 10 minutes after placing my order. I came back at 11:30 to get a refund. He told me they had my food and handed me the food FROM 9:30! I said I don't want cold food and he briskly said they'll make it again. I asked for a refund and was told they can't refund mobil orders. This place is run by teenagers and it shows. We live across the street and I was excited that Sonic was close by because I worked there in high school and like the drinks. Each time we go there, we sit and wait forever while other cars go through and are taken care of. We ordered 2 shakes, waited 20 minutes until I had to go inside and ask what was going on. Today, ordered 2 drinks. My wife went to the stall and they told her to wait. 3 cars went in and out while she sat. A car pulled up next to her after 10 minutes, they were able to order. My wife had to go through the drive thru to ask for the drinks. I tried to be compassionate because I worked at a sonic and fast food, so I get things get busy. But it was not busy. Someone needs to do more training with their employees and be more hands on with that place. Business will go away real fast if you don't. read more

Unfortunately this location is closest to our current home so we've had the complete displeasure of having to deal with a very rotten and unpleasant daytime manager (a woman) who has no customer service skills. Not once but every single time she serves us she's terribly rude. Their GM and District Manager have done nothing to solve this problem as we brought this to their attention weeks ago. I can only imagine how many people have gone there and decided not to return for this sole reason. She has no personal skills and the shear rudeness is incredible. Usually don't leave reviews but this experience was horrible. 3 employees sitting on the front side walk, less than 10 feet from the door, smoking as I walked in. Restrooms didn't have paper towels stocked. Stood up front for a minute while a few people looked at us, finally someone came to serve. A few dirty tables at 10:50 with zero other customers in store. The only positive is we got our two shake fairly fast and they tasted good. This will be my last time if they can't follow health standard. Small things were wrong twice and then a totally wrong order altogether the third time. It's surprising because every time the representative repeats the order back. And even when the food is correct, it really just doesn't taste good, even for fast food standards. I see other reviews of them being rude as well. Maybe a revamp of customer service expectations and training on how to multitask will help. While I know an apology will not alter the outcome of my experience on this occasion, I also know coming back won't change my mind. We didn't get what we had ordered (gave us burgers instead of tots; 10 burgers - no tots). After pulling through the drive thru, I went in to fix the order and in talking with 3-layers of associates/management they ultimately couldn't solve the problem. They ended up blaming me for "ordering wrong" and requested me to pay more to get the order fixed (I had already paid $42 for what was supposed to be meals for 5 people). I ended up returning the food and getting a refund. I'm now disputing this through my credit card company as Sonic has yet to process that credit. read more

Finally drove up to the window and then sat there for fifteen more minutes. No employee came to the window to take my money the whole fifteen minutes I sat there. I love this place for drinks and their specials! I think the food is really good and their frozen strawberry lemonade, DELICIOUS. I think this restaurant can take quite a while but I always go with the windows rolled down and with my family and so I never really notice the time because it's a lot of fun with family. We went during happy hour and asked "Tyler" how much the happy hour drinks were. He said "$0.70, $0.80, $0.90, and $1.00" for all of their sizes. We ordered two $0.80 Ocean Water slushes and two $1.00 frozen strawberry lemonades. The total came to over $5.00 somehow. He never gave us a receipt, but we called back and spoke to the manager as we were driving home, and he explained that it should have come to $5.15 (which it did) and said that Tyler must have given us the wrong prices. We finally get home, and we discovered that neither of the strawberry lemonades had strawberry in it at all. Tyler obviously needs better training (giving wrong prices, not giving receipts, and not giving people what they order!!). The manager has been ignoring every call since. There were like 8 people working and the wait to get the food after placing the order was well over 15 mins for 2 kids grilled cheese meal and an adult meal. SMH.
