I don't typically review fast food chains. You generally know what you are going to get, and there is a specific reason like convenience (or craving) that you are there. Chick-fil-A always has a nice quality product with friendly service they pride themselves on. This particular experience was beyond expectations for CfA!! Everyone was really friendly and professional, everyone was coordinating and treating each other with utmost respect, but the thing that put it over the top for me was that one team member gave me my drink. Another young man, Paul, was walking by getting something for another customer and saw that my tea had slightly leaked through the top of the lid. He stopped, grabbed a napkin, folded it, and then reached over the counter to wipe it off to make sure it didn't spill on me. I complemented him for his observance. Impressive. Sensational fast food with quality service except on Sundays but that all good. Grabbed after flight treat of 8 piece nuggets. Flavorful & crispy but not overdone. My grilled sandwich was probably the best I'd ever had at a Chick-fil-A. And I've been eating at Chick-fil-A for 20 years. Was just perfect! We had fried, nuggets, a Chick-fil-A sandwich and a Chick-fil-A filet also. All good. Even had some nuggets left to take on the plane. I travel through this airport very frequently and walk by this CFA a lot, but never stopped in for a bite until recently. Mainly never stop because the line is always insanely long (as with most CFA's, as their food is generally amazing), so one morning when walking by I saw 2 people in line, so I stopped. The cashier was very friendly, as they always are. The place looked very clean and orderly and there was plenty of food being put in the warmer for guests. I opted for something custom, knowing I've had to wait a few minutes, but it still didn't take long at all. My food tasted GREAT! The spicy chicken, egg, & cheese biscuit I got was perfectly package, so it didn't fall apart when I opened it and the alignment of the crown to the heel was perfect! Flavors were spot-on! The tater tots were excellent too. Overall - Excellent experience! I'll definitely stop in more often! read more

Of course I needed food cause I was hungry so decided to come to Chick-fil-A. There weren't many people so I didn't have to wait long. The workers were nice but idk. The cashier had a weird vibe. So glad there's a Chick-Fil-A at the Airport! A perfect place to pick up breakfast on the go en-route to my gate for a morning flight. They let you order lunch foods too during the mornings, but note it might take them a bit longer to cook since they'd be making the order just for you (versus already having a batch of lunch items ready). Nothing beats a chicken biscuit with waffle fries to kick start the morning. Definitely try out the Honey BBQ and Chick-Fil-A sauces :) They're AMAZING with everything! read more

Newly Opened Moon township PA - visited on day 2 of their opening- very busy but they had lots of staff to oversee and assist with service, as they should do when just opening. No problems that day. 2nd time I went there, I ordered the GRILLED nugget12 piece with sauce. After waiting waaay too long, I received the regular breaded nuggets and guess what, half of them were overdone and hard around the edges with no sauce. Very disappointing and expensive. 3rd time, I ordered online for an upcoming small party, hoping this time for a better result. I spent close to $50 on this order and the lid on the grilled nuggets container was on lopsided causing a mess. The regular nuggets were ok but not great. What happened to the sauces that I asked for??? Sadly, judging from some of the other comments, "missing items" is something we can expect. Oh, and what did you do to your waffle fries? NOT good anymore. Lastly, the management really needs to try harder. I hope they improve for the sake of their loyal customers. read more

I love Chick-fil-A but I have to give only two stars for this location. Even judging by the (lower) standards of an airport location, this place misses the mark. (The one in Terminal D at Washington Dulles, for example, is much better). Back to the Pittsburgh location, long lines are common at a Chick-fil-A, but they're usually very efficient at getting the line to move quickly. Not here. Not the place to go if your flight leaves soon. Also, they were out of literally more than half the menu - all they had was regular or spicy chicken sandwiches (no deluxe), nuggets, and fries. Prices are standard airport overpriced. The worst part is the confusing line - it's very unclear in which direction the line is supposed to form up. This led to a disturbing incident that I witnessed today (Nov. 9, 2021) around 1:40PM that involved an unhinged Karen going off on a guy because she mistakenly thought he cut in line when she was the one in the wrong place. I was waiting behind the guy in line the whole time, so I was able to see the whole thing unfold. The Karen kept screaming at and threatening the poor guy while he was trying to order his food. It got to the point where the police had to be called. I had to run to my flight right after I got my order, so I didn't see how it ended, but I hope the police were able to calm Karen down. Two stars for the nice lady working behind the counter. She and her few colleagues were the victims of short staffing, which is a management issue that comes from the top, but she still greeted customers with a smile and was doing the best she could trying to get orders out. Anyone who frequents CFA has expectations of quality speed accuracy and courtesy. It's why we spend a premium to eat here. This place makes it known BEFORE you get to the counter with a LARGE sign that they aren't CFA. And it shows in their work. Slow. Rude. Didn't fulfill the entire order. Had to go back and they gave me funny looks. No napkins in the bag. Basically what you'd expect from KFC, not CFA. I would think CFA would try to protect their brand in high traffic areas. Oh chick fil a how I love you! The lines moved quickly, my food came out fast & hot, and the staff is impeccable. I got the #4 meal (add bacon) and asked for Polynesian sauce. I think the lady behind the counter knew about my love for this sauce so she really loaded me up. This sandwich is my favorite and the waffle fries are to die for. No one really cares about reviews at airport fast food locations. Especially for breakfast. If you are hungry, you will probably head to Chick-fil-a no matter what. At 6am, the line was very long. This location is missing out on significant additional revenue by not hiring more people to quick move through the line. The demand is there. And half the people that ended up at McDonalds or some other location would have grabbed Chick Fil a if the line wasn't forever long. The food was probably the worst I've ever had at any chick fil a. Everything tasted like it was sitting out forever. And it was 6am so not sure how that's possible. From the mini hash browns, to the dry biscuit, to the cold egg and chicken. The cheese didn't even melt like it usually would because there was no heat in the food to heat it up. So why 3 stars? It's still chick fil a and even cold breakfast that has been sitting around is better than the alternative at this airport. read more
