Consistently the worst in town. The service is awful and the food is bad more often than not. The final straw for me was getting a batch of pale, greasy, undercooked nuggets. When I took them back to the counter, the person working essentially said, "too bad!" I can't believe how poorly they train the people who work there. I had to ask for a manager who didn't offer to remake them, just told me "we don't DO well done nuggets at this location." Well I'm not going to eat undercooked meat! Both lines were short, but I had a 15-minute wait. The young man who delivered my food by name apologized for taking so long and said the kitchen was finally catching up on the orders. My fries were hot and fresh, and the chicken on my Spicy Chicken Deluxe was hot and fresh, but the bread was hard and tasted old. I'm a Chick-fil-a Stan and probably the most frequent patron of this location as it's the closest by my apartment. I don't think there's much that needs to be said about the food. Chick-fil-a is known for its efficiency and high quality fast food. One pro tip is if you are not currently using the app you need to be. There's no reason not to use the app and you get points towards rewards and often free food for completing a quick survey. This location doesn't seem to quite be operating at the efficiency I've come to expect from Chick-fil-a. There have often times been small hitches with the experience such as not receiving straws or sauces. However, it seems management has been very engaged during peak times when I've been recently which is a good sign. read more

It crosses right in front of the main entrance to the parking lot and I have seen the car line to get in backed up all the way to 135th. If you play your cards right, and buy a lot of catering, Chick-Fil-A will give you many, many points that you could then use to purchase $75 worth of deliciousness. This location used to be my favorite, but the staff lately have been a little fidgety if you know what I'm saying - like they're worked really hard, and just barely have patience for life's givings. The gold standard for a fast food chicken sandwich. We're big fans of spicy deluxe with pepper jack cheese. The only thing we add is a little mayo. It's no secret that you NEED Chick-fil-A sauce to go with your waffle fries. For those eating healthier I highly recommend the cool wrap. It's a delicious treat (love it with the avocado ranch) that will actually fill you up. If eating healthier isn't a priority then by all means indulge in an oreo shake. This location is always busy (aren't they all??) even so you'll never find flustered staff, they never slip up with their wonderful manners and they hustle to wipe tables and refill drinks. Every Tuesday is Chic Fila day! Our kids have something to look forward to every Tuesday as we have made it a tradition to have Chic Fila for dinner every Tuesday. Each week, we place an order on the app and then head to the restaurant to pick up our food. Each week, it seems to be different, but it is always a little stressful due to the location and the setup of the parking lot, etc. But, we get our Chic Fila food and the kids are excited. BUT .... today was different. The kids did not have school today, so we picked up our order a little earlier than normal. We thought being early, there would not be any issues, and we would breeze through and pick up our order. HA! When we finally arrived at the pickup window, we were told that it would be a few minutes because the chicken strips were still being made. We were asked to pull up a few feet so that they could serve other customers behind us. I mentioned to the person that if the food is not ready soon, that by pulling up a few feet, we would be holding everyone up. Needless to say, after about 10 minutes, we did not have our food, and as I looked in the rear view mirror, the person behind us was waving her hands, and acting like she was fed up because we were holding everyone up. After a few minutes, an employee came out and told us to move to the parking lot, and they would bring us our food. So, we drove around and parked near the front door. After about 15 minutes, as I was starting to unbuckle my seat belt and go inside (and leaving the kids alone in the car), an employee with two bags of food approached our car. After quickly reviewing the bags, I noticed that we were not given our ordered chocolate milk. He went back into the store and after a bit, brought us our chocolate milk, with the order sticker on it. Needless to say, when we got home and sat down to eat, our order was not correct and lacking items. We always order no salt fries for our kids. The fries given to us today, were loaded with salt. With our order, we requested Chic Fila sauce and ranch cups. Our kids love these sauces, but there were none in the bag. My sandwich was not made as it was ordered, etc. Maybe going to Chic Fila an hour or so earlier was not the best call. And, maybe one shift was ending and another was starting, with fresh minds. read more

I've been to this Chick-fil-A multiple times and never had an issue. The other day when I went here my car started smoking and overheating in the drive-thru. Employees from Chick-fil-A came out and helped me move my car safely and they even diagnosed the problem with the car. I experienced AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE from the leadership team (Randy, franchise owner & Amanda, general manager) at this location. I tried to place a simple $60 catering order for two small trays of chicken nuggets for pickup the following day for a family reunion. I tried calling in my catering order on Friday, 9/13/2019, from 11 am to 11:45 am at the 7500 W 135th St location; no one ever answered the phone. My call was directed to a voicemail stating "this voicemail has not yet been setup; thank you; goodbye." It did not identify itself as Chick-Fil-A and did not permit me to leave a message so someone could return my call. So, I went to the Chick-Fil-A website to confirm the phone number I had in my phone (I have done business with them before). This Chick-Fil-A's location (7500 W 135th St, Overland Park, KS) was not available on the Chick-Fil-A website. According to the Chick-Fil-A website, this store did not exist. I then went to Google maps where I was able to confirm the phone number. I called again. Same thing. I then went to TripAdvisor and Yelp to confirm the phone number. I mean, who doesn't answer their business phone in the middle of the business day? Same thing. I then went to the Chick-Fil-A website to try to place a catering order at this store. Although it took me through all the steps to place an order, I could not add the order to my cart for this store. Very frustrated, after nearly an hour of trying to place an order, I called the Chick-Fil-A National Customer Service Call Center. I told them what I experienced. They didn't seem to care; they only wanted my name and telephone number so someone from the store could call me back and take my catering order. They said they sent the store a message at 12:04 pm. By 3:30 pm, I still had not heard anything from the store. I tried calling them again. This time, someone answered the phone. Instead of listening and learning what I experienced, she was only interested in taking the order. I placed the order. Then, I asked to speak to her manager. Raymond, the shift manager, came to the phone, listened to my experience and said thanks for the order, there's nothing more I can do than let my GM know about what you've said. I asked him to contact his GM or Franchise owner and have one of them call me back. He said he could leave a message for them, but couldn't assure when or if they would call back. That certainly didn't communicate to me that my efforts were appreciated. Finally, Amanda, the GM called me after she arrived home for the day at 3:45 pm. So, she returned the call very quickly. The problem was she was all in it for herself--learn what she can to improve the business and do virtually nothing for the customer. Although I explained my experience four times before to other employees today, she still was not aware of the problems on their website or catering pages. No one told her anything. Sounds like a big communication problem all the way around. She (Amanda) asked me to walk with her through my experience with the mobile app and each webpage url so she would know what to address with their IT department which I did for 30 minutes on the phone. As for why no one answered the phones on Friday morning, 9/13/2019, from 11 am - 11:45 am, she (Amanda) told me Chick-Fil-A leadership had instructed the stores not to set up a voicemail when they choose not to answer their phones. So, as a customer, you will hear a voicemail system pick up your call and essentially waste your time. Finally, after nearly two hours on the phone with five CFA employees, she (Amanda) shared her reservation about the store being able to fill a small catering order like this (2 small trays of chicken nuggets) because of a big tournament that would effect their business tomorrow. She asked me if I wanted to keep the order and she then said she would comp out the $5 in sauces with the order and give me a card for a free small tray of chicken nuggets to use at another location (READ: I want your money; you can use this FREE card at another location--don't saddle me with the loss) in the future. I simply thought, why not use the FREE card toward half this purchase. But she couldn't seem to see her way to that kind of customer-friendly solution. She called Randy, the Franchise Owner, and he agreed with her. She called me back and offered me a take it or leave it offer. I declined and cancelled my order entirely. What a waste of time and energy. This store benefits from all my effort and I get absolutely nothing in return. It seems like they are far more interested in the money than satisfied customers. I couldn't believe it! Truett Cathy, Chick-Fil-A's founder, and a gentleman I enjoyed good conversation with over a couple of meals in the 1980's would have been appalled by this kind of behavior from his management team.
