What is in the bun
Olya V D.

You'd think a sandwich bun is just flour, water, yeast, and maybe a sprinkle of salt, right? Well... not exactly--at least not at Chick-fil-A. Let's take a closer look at the bun ingredients from the Chick-fil-A sandwich: The Bun Itself: * Enriched Wheat Flour - standard bread base, often enriched with vitamins. * Water, Sugar, Yeast, Salt - pretty normal so far. * Soybean Oil - adds moisture, but also a processed fat. * Wheat Gluten - for that chewy structure. * Cultured Wheat Flour & Vinegar - likely for preservation and slight tang. * Calcium Sulfate, Monoglycerides, DATEM, Calcium Propionate - here's where it gets less appetizing. These are preservatives and dough conditioners--great for shelf life, questionable for your gut. * Ascorbic/Citric Acid, Enzymes, Soy Lecithin, Potassium Iodate - more additives to keep the bun soft, bouncy, and golden. That's 16 ingredients just for the bun alone. So while it might look like a simple fluffy bun hugging your crispy chicken, it's really a cocktail of preservatives, conditioners, and emulsifiers hiding behind a golden glow.

Smallest chicken strip that I have ever seen. So they need to fix that. Besides that, the food was fresh when we picked it up in the drive thru. Service was good as well.

I have been enjoying Chick-Fil-A for 20+ years and I have to say that this new location just off 12th St. and Washington in Ogden is the largest and nicest one I have ever been to! It is large inside with rows of booth seating as well as some standard single tables. Beautiful views of the Ogden mountain range outside the windows and fantastic service on the inside. Outdoor seating also! Super clean at all times with quick, friendly employees. This location even has a playland area for kids and families which is a nice touch. All that added to the great food they serve adds up to a winning restaurant!

New guy at the register rang up my order. Connor. He gave me my sauces before the order was ready Stood around with sauces in hand for 5 minutes waiting for order. mfw

I got the large in desire of more fries specifically. My girlfriend got the medium, and ended up with more fries. This is ridiculous, even if it was from a lower degree fast food chain. But for it to come from Chick-fil-A makes it that much worse. This is the untouched large fry I received.

My son has autism and isn't verbal but he gets so excited everytime we pull into the drive thru.

3 stars for the temperature and lack of sun shades. I don't understand why customers have to be…read moreblinded by the sun in the afternoon and get a hot beat down. It makes it unbearable to eat there. Staff is friendly and food is good.

There's something inherently appealing about Potbelly Sandwich Shop--the concept is simple,…read moreapproachable, and priced right. On paper, it hits that sweet spot: quick, casual sandwiches with a bit of personality. In practice, though, the execution doesn't keep up with the promise. The biggest issue is the production line--or lack of one. For a place built around fast sandwiches, a 5-8 minute wait from order to pickup feels unnecessarily sluggish. It's not just the time--it's the absence of rhythm. There's no visible flow, no sense that orders are moving forward with purpose. That's compounded by the physical layout: the counter is set back far enough that you can't really see what's happening. Instead of transparency and anticipation, you're left standing there, disconnected, waiting without context. Then there's the food itself. The sandwiches land squarely in the "fine, but forgettable" category. Hot sandwiches, in particular, miss the mark--more like something that sat a little too long than something freshly made. Think lukewarm bread with onions that feel more tired than grilled. Nothing is outright bad, but nothing stands out either. The atmosphere doesn't help. The energy behind the counter is low--no urgency, no enthusiasm, no sense that the team is driving toward anything. It feels static. In a space like this, momentum matters. Even average food can feel better when it's delivered with speed and intention. Here, that spark is missing. In the end, Potbelly has the right idea and the right price point--but without tightening up efficiency, improving visibility, and bringing some life back into the service, it struggles to deliver on what should be a straightforward win

Best burgers in the state--no question…read more Everything here hits on a different level. The sauces! Flavor combinations and the best bun ever made! Clearly homemade and honestly unforgettable. Every bite felt was the perfect marriage of flavors, they really care about doing burgers right. We keep a running list of the best burgers we've tried (and it's a competitive list), and this one didn't just make it, it shot straight to the top. This is not your average fast food burger... not even close.

OK burgers at a grossly inflated price. Can't understand the high ratings for a so-so burger joint…read morethat only serves odd-ball burgers. Why does everything they sell have to have aioli or arugula or some weird overbearing sauce. Would have been happier with a d nice burger with at least an option to get lettuce/tomato and onion on it. Our party of 3 tried different burgers and we all had complaints. Sauce WAY too spicy, the crispy onions on my Bob's burger looked like something that can out of a can and not real onion crisps and the other was just plain bland. All burgers were bland. Buns felt like day-old buns from the grocery store and were barely toasted. Clearly made in a rush. Fries were so-so regular fries were a bit over-done and the garlic fries were OK . Biggest complaint is the brice - grossly overpriced for the quality of food. Making burgers with odd-ball ingredients doesn't make it gourmet - just weird. This place needs to step up its game an focus on quality food, not just weird burgers..
