The vibe was cozy and the staff were friendly on brand with Chick Fil A, but what stood out were the fresh flowers on each table and fall decor. It transformed what otherwise was a quick stop in for some fries (Chick Fil A Please make a vegetarian chicken option) into a cozy, autumn dine in. It's always been efficient with polite services, even during the lunch rush. Today was the first time in years that I actually went to store to place an order in person, as I had received a few promotional codes via email (which I appreciate!) that couldn't be applied through the app. Unfortunately, experience was very disappointing. I understand that lunch hour can be hectic and stressful, but the cashier who assisted me was noticeably rude. When the scanner had trouble reading the codes, his tone became increasingly frustrated and unprofessional. It reached a point where I nearly walked out mid-order. Not wanting to cause a scene, I simply thanked him and left with food. Chick fil A came to me when I was in this neighborhood and wanted a early morning breakfast. I stopped in for my usual biscuit with cheese and sausage, no egg. It's just the right size to hold my appetite until brunch. It's a typical Chick fil A with knowledgeable employees. The only problem I have with Chick fil A is that they're closed on Sunday. My recent visit was to try their breakfast menu. There was literally no customers inside so figured good time to try. I picked the egg white grill sandwich and just got a water to drink. The egg white sandwich was delicious and a very good choice as a first time breakfast menu try. The chicken was grilled well, not dry, juicy but this is a standard at chick-fil-a. The $6+ price tag is I feel a median price for a fresh made sandwich especially in this area. The bottle of Dasani water is pretty tiny 16 oz for almost $3. With the high cost of everything these days, and having to pay higher wages for fast food staff, the prices are understandable I guess. This location gets way too busy during lunch time, I used to work in the area and only had lunch here once, and got nuggets to go before. Been to this Chick-Fil-A location a few times and it is one of my favorites to go to being that it is very spacious, usually not too crowded and close to the train station. The service most of the time is good. There have been a few occasions of when they got more order wrong, as I majority of the time order a Spicy Deluxe Chicken sandwich and I have been given just a regular chicken sandwich. A little disappointing when that happens but it's only been on a very few rare occasions. Other than that, I mean Chick-Fil-A within itself is always good in food and taste. As mentioned, I like the seating here more compared to others within the city as it seems to have more space to move around and is never really too crowded. What happens when you don't explore the neighborhood ? Well you miss new grand openings like this Chick-fil-A On Lexington and 57th Street. The place is nice and big and has a second floor sitting section with views of the street. The place was crowded for lunch time and it had a big line, but the queue move fast with help from all the cashiers and 4 or more staff people getting your order while on you on line. I've already reviewed a Chick fil A store before, but this is mainly a review on its chicken biscuit. I'm a lot more familiar with their chicken sandwich, whether it's spicy or deluxe, because that's what I usually order. Recently, I wanted to try something different and since it was breakfast hours, I decided to try their biscuit sandwich. It surprised me in the best way. I generally don't like biscuits, as the ones I've eaten have been typically quite tough and hard to bite into, but this biscuit was so soft and delicate. Once I bite into it, it just melts in your mouth. I didn't know a biscuit could be this good. I also did not expect it to go well with the chicken. I've only ever had biscuit breakfasts with sausages. The only disappointing factor in this is that it's only available until 10:30AM, which is too early. They should either push it back until noon or have all day breakfast like McDonald's. read more

This review is for how this location is during the weekday dinner time (around 6:30pm) and weekend lunch time (Saturday around 12:30pm). The line has always been extremely short, at max there was 3-4 people in front of me and I've always seen 2-3 people at the register. Service is consistently friendly and welcoming. Food comes out very quickly. I've never personally gotten any orders wrong as per the other reviews, but from my interactions, I'm not worried because I'll always check before I leave and I know they'll apologize and switch it out for me if needed. They are the best ever!! They have been moving like a well oiled machine and I am here for it. The chicken nuggets are amazing and so is the spicey chicken sandwich deluxe. The grilled chicken sandwich is also great! The key lime pie milk shake is to die for. I really like key lime pie btw. The lines are long but dont let that intimidate you. I have eaten at over 40 distinct Chick Fil A restaurants around the US. Today I went to this Upper East Side location. The restaurant was filthy, the service poor, they had closed their rest rooms to their clients, and they didn't offer refills on beverages (and thought I was crazy for asking). This restaurant is a Chick Fil A in name only. They share none of the qualities that make the rest of the chain so special. Management at Chick Fil A should consider terminating the contract with the current franchisee and awarding this franchise to some one who buys in to the company's values. Had to repeat my order because the kid taking my order wasn't looking at me or listening after asking what I wanted. Bathroom was clean, but requires a code that you can get on your receipt. Zero. This location is awful. The manager closing named Steven is a rude and for lack of a better word, bad human being. My friend had a medical emergency (low blood sugar fainting) and we were right outside. We walked in attempting to get something to eat. Terribly unorganized. I went after 2 pm figuring they would have their stuff together after the lunch rush, but nope. Awful system where a giant group of customers crowd around the counter and employees shout generic names when orders are ready. "John!, Order for John!" Yeah, because that's efficient. This results in people picking up the wrong orders, I'm sure very frequently. That happened to me, someone took my order when the employee called out "John!" and when I went to retrieve my order, someone had already taken it and the employee said "no no, that was John." (oh, yes, of course, my mistake) (I'm not John but it's a good example of how this system fails). All in all, if you want a quick midtown lunch, don't waste your time here. read more

I believe this is the nicest location of Chick-fil-A in NYC. It has two floors and a good amount of seating throughout the store. It is not as crowded as other stores on a Saturday night, and I was able to get my chicken sandwich faster than any other locations. The dining area is kept quite clean. Every time that I visit this particular Chick-Fil- A , there happens to be an issue. Today once again, I had another problem. To scan my barcode takes continuous attempts. Ken the cashier appeared in a rush. He took the wrong order and the manager had to come over and correct the mistake. The Chick-fil- A sandwich was taken from my rewards points but the salad had to be reordered and I lost my reward points. They had no napkins, didn't provide the requested salad dressing, my chicken sandwich was paper thin and the salad had much less chicken. I then used the second floor dining area and my table was dirty and there were no napkins to be found. So ecstatic that they decided to open up a food spot in the midst of all of the retail spaces down the Lexington Avenue strip. Despite the lengthy lines, they move rather quickly due to separating those who are paying via cash versus credit card. I've never encountered a hostile or negative employee at this establishment and probably never will. My go-to meal is the grilled chicken club with bacon and cheese, waffle fries or the Mac &cheese as a side. Also, I normally dine in as opposed to doing take out. One important thing to note is that the passcode to the restroom is on your receipt, so do not throw it out right away. read more
