KFC 3 Piece Original Tenders Box with nice tenders, my preferred Comeback Sauce, just "ok" fries and wrong Buffalo Ranch Sauce
    Mike R.

Haven't really been getting my fast food chicken from KFC in decades, especially since Popeye's seems to have more locations in the city, including 4 blocks from my home. On this occasion, KFC had a promotion to try out the 3 Piece Original Recipe Tenders Box, which came with fries. Since it may not be enough, went for the "Taste of KFC 2 Piece Deal" that included a drumstick, thigh, mashed potatoes with gravy and a biscuit. My order went through KFC's app, which I downloaded now for the 1st time. This location, a block from Penn Station and MSG certainly gets a lot of customers, keeping the KFC busy behind the counter. That being said, all the tables had crumbs and, while I'm eating, some guy came in rummaging through the trash foraging for something to eat and exited with a discarded bucket - making the experience less than optimal. Putting that aside, here's the other reasons this meal dropped from 3 to 2 stars: While I enjoyed KFC Original Recipe Tenders more than a chicken nugget, they gave me Buffalo Ranch sauce instead of the KFC Sauce I ordered. They corrected it, but having now tasted also their Comeback Sauce, I'd order that in the future over the KFC Sauce. The biscuit and was much smaller and drier than I remember, or get elsewhere. The fries were also not something to write home about. Oddly, the 2 Piece Deal ended up with 3 pieces, but the drumsticks were more like drumettes and the thigh was possibly from a runt - so, I guess it was equivalent to the amount of meat I'd expect from 2 normal size pieces. Perhaps these kid's "tea playset"-size components are how they're able to sell this (value) Taste of KFC 2 Piece Meal for $5 - shrinkflation? Would I go back? Not likely to this KFC location due to the other more appealing nearby options, but open to try elsewhere something else on their menu again if the opportunity permits and I'm nearby.

We stopped in this New York City KFC for some grub. The food was tasty. The service was quick. A few homeless so we took the food back to our room.

Keepin it real out here in Midtown / Chelsea It's almost a 4 star but 3 is more fitting for this one time experience. Area is crazy as usual, saw people arguing over their food the moment i walked in. Cashier was helpful with the pick up order. The KFC chicken sandwich is low key fire. The spicy one caught me by surprise the first time i had it, but this time just isn't it. It's a bit stale and way too chewy. The spicy didn't have the same kick and overall just lacking a bit. I will probably try it again just not at this location, but location still decent though overall

I know a lot of people are complaining about the staff. It didn't happen to me during the time I went, and I still like the sandwich, so I am still gonna give it a 5 start. If you're in the mood for some tasty fried chicken, then KFC is definitely the place to go. There are really not that many KFCs in Manhattan, so as soon as I saw this one opened. I went immediately. The menu at KFC features a variety of different chicken dishes, from classic fried chicken to spicy wings and sandwiches. Honestly, the chicken sandwiches at KFC are definitely better than at Mcdonald's. Overall, if you're a fan of KFC, it is definitely worth trying out. They have a lot of delivery orders, so it might actually be faster to order delivery than eat over there

Small size legs and thighs. Ordered original crispy and they are soggy. They keep wanting to charge for sauce on the side.

So when we were back in town, we decided to stop in--fully expecting to have just one drink and move on. That plan did not happen. We ended up staying a couple of hours, ordering food, and having many drinks. Bin 71 is mostly a wine bar, with a few beers mixed in, and it definitely feels like a locals spot. The bartenders knew a lot of the people coming in, which added to the friendly, laid-back vibe. It's very small, so it can get cramped, but in a cozy, everyone's-in-it-together kind of way. Food-wise, we were pleasantly surprised. I ordered the grilled cheese and my husband got the fish soup (cod, I think?). Both were delicious, but that grilled cheese was spectacular--honestly way better than expected from a wine bar. I'm not much of a wine drinker, so I won't pretend to give a detailed wine review, but everything we had was enjoyable. What really stood out was the atmosphere. We ended up chatting with other people at the bar, and the whole experience was just genuinely fun. If you're looking for good wine, surprisingly great food, and a friendly local vibe, this place is worth checking out. Maybe don't go wildly out of your way for it--but if you're in the area, absolutely stop in.

It's pretty cool that this Turntable location is fully decorated with records, record players, posters, etc. and of course, with jazz playing in the background. We ordered the Medium Drums & Wings Combo which took about 30 minutes to prepare. In the meantime, we enjoyed the Kimchi Fried Rice w Chicken which was pretty solid. It was cooked well, good balance of savory & spicy flavors from the kimchi and the sunnyside egg added more umami and creaminess. I still felt it was a bit dry and could've used like spicy mayo but that's just me. The Medium Drums & Wings Combo was perfect for sharing among 2 people. Both flavors were delicious but the hot spicy just had more depth than the soy garlic. The pieces are large and the crunch is insanely addictive. And no better way to wash it all down than with a Sapparo on draft! Great try!

We went with an order of cheesy corn, a spiral potato each, and a medium order of boneless, Half and half. I thought it was strange that they specifically warned us that it would take some time to make it. I mean that's what I came for, some proper Korean Fried Chicken that's made to order! The cooking method literally takes time to fry it at least twice! As strange as it was to see them do this at every table, apparently it was because some uncultured dum-dums got their KFCs confused. I mean damn, imagine having to work in a place where you have to overexplain the obvious to each customer! "Welcome to Moonbucks! By the way ma'am, our hot beverages comes out very hot. Yes ma'am, that includes the pumpkin spiced latte. Yes ma'am, it is flavored with cinnamon." Derp. The decor around here was pretty cool, all hip and shit. And by our meal's end, this place was poppin'! If you and your crew decide to dine put here, better hustle on over right after work, cuz it's gonna be packed!

There was a special order a 10 piece, and get 5 additional wings for free. We chose the sauces on the side because we did not want our wings to arrive soggy. The wings arrived cold, with sauce on the wings. The taste was bland definitely had better wings. The Dan & John's on the Eastside has wings that come out perfect. 14th Street location food is not worth the hassle. We tipped $5 for our order to arrive cold, and not as the instructions, which were clearly written on the receipt correctly. The kitchen did not pay attention.
