Not a problem I can get by on salad and waffle fries. But here's my -- issue -- criticism. No matter how many times we say when ordering the Cobb salad without meat (they call it base so we use that word too) it arrives with meat. Once. A mistake. Twice or on a third visit, ah rectifiable situation. But EVERY time. No matter what we say the salad comes with bacon. So three stars. Love the polite staff. The place is spic and span clean. The drive through was very slow. My order was royally screwed up. And the spicy chicken sandwich was nothing but mushy.

I purchased (2) 4 count tenders, (1) 8 count nugget, and 1 small waffle fry for a total of 22.04. ( order #5642581) I don't mind paying, but the tenders were actually fingers. When I gave them to my husband, he said, "Honey, this is ridiculous! Did they really think we wouldn't notice? This is a true disappointment, because I would visit this establishment at least twice a week. Decided to give CFA a try after many months. First they couldn't find my mobile order yet it hit my payment method. Ask me to pull around. Drive thru line was very slow for breakfast. Pull up, they have found my order, everyone inside is just standing there doing nothing. Check out girl that gave me attitude about my order was the exact opposite of a pleasure! I visited this location last week. This is strictly a review for their drive through service set up. First of all, the way they have drive through set up - perfect. They have two lanes and an employee in each line taking orders. On this occasion, we were waited on by two employees - it's possible one was a trainee. They took our order, read it back to us, and then took our payment. They had mobile card readers attached to their devices. They we were directed to pull up a bit further where another employee asked for the order name and then directed us to pick up. We get to pick up and they transfer the food to us. The order was correct and the food was again uniform and tasty. The whole process from start of order to pick up lasted no more than 8 minutes. I've never been to a standalone Chik-fil-a, so I don't know if this is standard service but I was impressed. We were in the middle of a road trip and this restaurant was our half way point stop. We needed food as we were running on fumes. We wanted something juicy and tasty and this place fit the bill. Normally, when I make this run, I don't normally pass through this way but I may have to make an exception and stop in again. It was the one bright spot about being in this area as we didn't have nearly the same experience at the Starbucks next door. read more

I don't know where my original review went, because I typed it & published it in the summer. I have VERY mixed feelings about this one. There wasn't a long line, probably only about 2-3 other people making orders when we got there. I had no idea what I wanted at first, and I watched people make orders, receive orders, and then leave, and they were not small, just a typical family order. So, once we decided on what to order, and the nice people working there helped us order, it took QUITE A LONG TIME to fill ours. I thought that was strange. I ordered some kind of a sundae thingy............ but, what I got was just a cup of white ice cream.... erm.... uh..... what???? I'm really confused, because everyone seemed so nice there.... but, they kinda screwed up on my order, and I was with my mother, and we ordered stuff to bring home to Dad. They were VERY generous with the sauces.... sounds GREAT, RIGHT???? But, the ACTUAL FOOD was TINY! But, HERE'S A TON OF SAUCE for your itty-bitty, teeny-weeny food in whatever the largest sizes were... Anything within a box, once u opened it WAS SOOOOOOOOOO TINY INSIDE. Also, I hadn't been to a Chick-fil-A since the 1990s, and I kept hearing it was AMAZING... but, I was only AMAZED at how TINY, EXPENSIVE, and OVERPRICED everything was. Also, a few other things we ordered were messed up orders. It's NOT like we ordered 50+ things. Just a what a typical family would order and bring home. I spent MORE money HERE than I did at Pop-Eye's chicken the night before, and got way less food. Also, it doesn't exactly taste AMAZING or anything. It was honestly pretty underwhelming. I was expecting to LOVE it here... but, I have so many mixed feelings, and I'm kinda disappointed, really. I don't know what went wrong. I love this location's food. But the service has been sub par, even sometimes terrible. And the way I see some of the managers act with their employees is absolutely unacceptable. Sometimes it depends which time of the day I'm there to eat, or whether I go in to eat, or if I use the drive through. There is no ambiance when the girl Olivia is working. She is not polite to customers or employees. Really quite the opposite, she is rude. I'm glad I finally caught her name because I have overheard her make racist comments on more than one occasion. I wanted to give credit to the staff. Yesterday, I went to your Millsboro, DE location. As I was waiting in the long line, the transmission in my truck went up. I had zero ability to move. I calmly got out and asked the lady behind me to be patient, while I asked the employee in the window if they had someone who could assist me in pushing the truck into the adjacent parking lot. Within seconds, two guys came out and helped me push the truck out of the drive thru lane, across the street, and into the parking spot to await a tow. As if that wasn't enough, they also had my food in hand. When I told them I still needed to pay, they told me I had a bad enough day and it was on the house. Stopped here randomly on our way into Bethany. My toddler woke up early from a car nap and was hungry almost to the hangry point. I was traveling with him alone which can be a bit of a challenge in the moments where he wants to be held the entire time. I was first impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant and the outside.seating area. After ordering we were able to sit in a booth and the food was brought to us. Bill saved the day! I made an error with a large catering order for a lunch today and didn't realize until I showed up to pick up my food. Bill was very kind as I was in panic mode. He very calmly and efficiently helped me place an order to fit my crowd (15 people) and had my order made fresh and packed in my car within 15 minutes. We stopped in this Chick-fil-A about halfway though our road trip driving up north from VA on February 25th. We used the drive-through and ate in the parking lot. We then needed to use the restroom. We approached the building and were told by Julia that the restroom was closed and to use the one in the Burger King next door instead! I guess none of the employees ever need to use it either. Luckily no one at BK gave us a hard time even though we didn't even eat there and they had signs that the restrooms were for customers only. If you need to use a restroom after eating/drinking, don't go to this Chick-fil-A. Or maybe Chick-fil-A should just close off the parking lot so that their customers know that the bathroom is unavailable before drinking any of their beverages! read more

This is my first yelp review and If I could give 0 stars I would. My dad and I stopped here and went through the drive through during our three hour ride home. Both sandwich's that we ordered were incorrect, we asked for two large orders of fries and only received one large size when we were charged for two. The order was not read back to us, there were no straws in our bag nor napkins and none of the sauces that we asked for were placed inside. The fries had sadly tasted like they were sitting the majority of the day and the overall quality of the food was not as high as previous locations that we have visited. I've been to a great deal of chick fil a restaurants with no prior issues but this was sadly my worst experience. If we choose to go to chick fil a again while in the area, we will be sure to bypass this location. read more

I've even seriously considered having your food be catered at my backyard wedding. - But not anymore. I went into the Millisborro, DE location on Christmas Eve at 11:00 a.m. in the midst of traveling back home. When I walked up to the line, I encountered worker Colleen (older Caucasian woman with short hair) roll her eyes at a Hispanic family that had a thick accent and the Father of the family was patient and trying to communicate with the worker. I heard them KINDLY ask for BBQ sauce and she said loudly and obnoxiously well for all of thooooose nuggets your going to need ALOT! Again she rolled her eyes and huffed and puffed. Even when she was on break she was staring at them, and kept making commentary about how they had ordered SO MUCH FOOD. I get it it's Christmas Eve I wouldn't want to be working either, but shame on the leaders of that store to allow her bad mood to show racism and rudeness to a kind customer who has every right to be there. Awful customer service. I stopped here on a Friday at 1:30 and the line was out the door. The employees at the counter were miserable and didn't have any sense of urgency. There was an employee named Jen or Jess that repeatedly rolled her eyes at the only employee that seemed to want to help. I waited at the counter for a drink refill and several workers looked at me and walked by, including a woman with "COO" on her badge. Kudos to the woman cleaning tables. My husband and I visited tonight about 8:30 pm. We have been to this location several times before. Each time the service was marginal at best. Tonight was our first visit in over a month. Tonight was a much better experience, mainly due to the wonderful, energetic, young man who took our order, Brandon. Our food was brought to our table quickly and was well prepared. Then Brandon was efficiently cleaning the dining room tables, sweeping the floor and emptying the trash can. Still, he took a moment here and there to briefly chat with guests. Chick-fil-A is known for its high standards in service and food quality along with being well managed. Every Chick-fil-A I have been to has lived up to those expected standards. I've been to the Millsboro Chick-fil-A twice, once in June 2019 and again in early October 2019. Both experiences were underwhelming: understaffed, slow, cold food; and judging by other reviews I am not alone in my assessment.
