I know that as a consumer, I can check before coming to make sure I know what I'm ordering - but it's the little things like reiterating the menu to customers, whether they're new or not. My impression is that employees are probably not treated very well because they seem stressed half the time, tired, exhausted, overworked, or mentally drained. This is also why I often choose to go NOT during busier times of the day. Even so, they often seem just so mentally drained, and they're just standing around. Ever consider giving your employees coffee, or some perks? They don't seem like bad people. Actually, they seem like good people. hence why I feel so divided over it.

The mofongo is heavy - so it's best eaten shared with something on the lighter side. The Mofongo comes with a topping of beef or shrimp. Our waiter didn't ask our preference so I thought maybe it comes with both. Later we heard another waiter ask the customer if they wanted beef or shrimp. We were given beef and that was fine but it would have been nice to have a choice! The disappointment came in the service. The waiter was unaware of happy hour or the Masa Monday discount. We asked about Happy Hour on arrival. Upon receiving the bill we had to ask for an adjustment. Then the bill came back and the Papusa (a $10 dish) was charged at $12 with a $3 discount. At this point I was tired of asking so we just let it go. To the owners - don't advertise discounts and then try to avoid them or not train your staff about them. Will not come back for that reason.
