You may wonder why I included a photo of one of the 2 unisex bathrooms: my theory is that if the bathrooms are clean, which these were, then sanitation in food preparation and handling by staff is a priority for the dinind establishment which it certainly is for me! The prices are rather high, however I consider quality and value important, particularly for something which I shall ingest. The Latkes were good, as were the onion rings. The French fries didn't impress me. The mushroom barley soup was tasty. Pastrami was good, not so much for the corned beef or brisket. I was actually disappointed with the brisket, it tasted by boiled beef. Being a 70+ year old kid from the Bronx who grew up with kosher deli's on every other corner I was spoiled. Nothing is like it used to be. But thankful that places like Rosenfeld's are still around and keeping memories alive.
