I also note that seating is limited so you may find yourself waiting or doing a take out order instead. Service was friendly, dining area was clean. I had a very uncomfortable experience at Fat Daddy's Barbecue today, and I feel obligated to share…read moreit so no one else gets hurt the way I did. While sitting on one of the wooden bench seats and placing my order with my husband, I suddenly felt something stab into the back of my left thigh. The pain was immediate and intense. When I reached back, I realized a piece of the bench had broken off and gone inside my skin. I was wearing a dress, so I jumped up in a panic trying to get it out. My husband couldn't see it at first because it was embedded inside my leg. After several attempts, we finally managed to pull it out -- and the piece of wood had blood on it. I now have a painful welt on my thigh, and as a diabetic, this kind of injury is especially concerning because of the risk of infection. I'm also concerned about what germs or bacteria were in that wood. I showed the piece of the bench to the waitress (it was her first day, and she clearly didn't know what to do), and I asked her to let the manager know because I didn't want anyone else to experience this. No one came to check on me. No one asked if I was okay. My husband eventually had to ask for our food to-go because I was so shaken and miserable I couldn't even stay to eat. When I went to the counter and asked for the manager myself, she came out and gave a very dismissive "I'm sorry about that, I'll check it out." I followed her to show her the bench, and her response was, "Yeah, I see. I'll just have them turn the bench to the other side." That was it. No concern, no incident report, no offer to help, no acknowledgment of how serious this was -- after we spent $88 on our meals. This experience completely ruined my day, left me injured, and left me extremely disappointed in the lack of care or responsibility shown by management. I truly hope they fix this issue before someone else gets hurt.

Service was fast and friendly but no places to sit nearby so we had to eat on the tailgate of our truck. We will definitely eat there again!
