I was def skeptical with it being in a shell gas station but saw a few reviews that said it was really good and I saw they had honey biscuits so I said why not. I got the 4 piece jumbo tender box for my lady and I. I first took a bite of the warm fresh honey biscuit and was like, "DAYUM!" That biscuit was soooo good at first bite. It did get a little too sweet the more I ate but it was one of the best biscuits I have had in a very long time! My girl thought it was too sweet for her but she doesn't really like honey. The fries were average nothing out of the ordinary. Wedge fries with a little seasoning built in. Solid 6 or 7 when it comes to fries. Now for the tenders Let me tell you that they are not lying when they say jumbo. We could have split the four piece because I was getting full after one tender! I did eat two and was stuffed. Hey, I have two more for dinner. lol I got the bbq sauce which was tasty. It was more like a hickory bbq with a slight kick. My girl got the krispy sauce which is like a Kane's style sauce. She liked it a lot. All in all I'd give this place a solid 8.5 out of 10. Being in Laurel I would def go back considering it was less than 2 miles from me. Def want that biscuit again and I'm going to try the fried chicken next time.

My 2nd runner-up for the letter B for 2025, I wanted to give a shoutout to B is for Bubbakoo's Burritos. I remember seeing Bubbakoo's Burritos in the Baltimore area but hadn't been. Then, they opened this location close to my home. They opened just under a year ago. They had a BOGO deal opening week, and we went for lunch on Sunday, June 29, 2025. We decided on the quesadilla as we didn't want to overeat that day. Wow, it was delicious! My issue that day was that it took about 25 minutes just waiting to get my food. They were pretty busy but not horribly busy. So, I was kind of annoyed as we had a movie we were trying to get to after lunch and felt they should've been more efficient. I felt that it'd be unfair to give them a review based on that as I figured they'd work out their kinks in the coming weeks. On my subsequent visit in November 2025, I wanted to try their namesake item, Burrito. I wanted to try their burrito because it's not Bubbakoo's Quesadillas, Bubbakoo's Tacos, Bubbakoo's Bowls (which would still have the alliteration); it's Bubbakoo's Burritos! Wow, the burrito was big & delicious. Staff was friendly and efficient. Also, I had free cinnamon churros. Wow, those were amazing! I ate very well that day and skipped dinner that night, maybe a snack or something. It's rare I actually want a burrito, but this is place to get one! But their other items are great too, and I try to follow whatever deal I can get. I went a few more times since then both through mobile order & walking in ordering. I got the tacos before when they had a special, which were good. Quesadilla has been the most common thing I've gotten as I usually don't want to overeat. I did get the burrito again in 2026. I also tried their new beef birria crunch wrap (or maybe it's not new, but they were just promoting it). This thing is a big & filling hexagon shaped wrap of goodness. I loved it and got again when it was a $3 off deal. At regular price, it's a bit more expensive than some other items, but it's worth it if I was paying full price. Staff is always friendly and efficient. Mobile orders are generally ready at/before promised time or maybe only a couple minutes off, and I never have to wait too long when I go order there. In summary, all delicious food, some good deals, good rewards program, and I'll keep coming back.

There are also a few tables inside if you want to dine in. The Birria Dilla was good, flavorful and satisfying, and I'd definitely come back to try more items on the menu.

This has been the third time I visited this Hip Hop Fish and Chicken location in the last 90 days…read more You know what you want a fresh piece of crispy fried fish!? That is what brought me here. My first visit was great! The fish was crispy and hot. I even ate some of the fries. The second time I patronized this location it was through food delivery and when the food arrived the fish was warm however the coating was falling off. And this wasn't from the transit to me it was how it was prepared. However on this occasion, they gave me the wrong type of fish and when I called back to inform them, they could barely understand what I was conveying and I was met with an attitude over the phone. I ended up just asking him to prepare me the two piece fish dinner and placed the order anyway. When we went in to switch the food out, I handed the shorter latino guy who's always there, my original box which had two and a half pieces of fish, since I ate a half piece of one of the fillets before realizing it wasn't what I had ordered. I was confused at first because I thought maybe it was what I ordered until I continued to eat it and then inspected it and realized it wasn't. He quickly took out the two pieces of fish from the new box which sat upon the bagging area and gave that to me . . . just empty by itself instead of replacing the fries or any of my other sides that came along with my dinner like he was doing me a favor. I'm just realizing this now and it upsets me even more: he shouldn't have been handling my food at all PERIOD! He works in the front and puts in the sauces as well as takes calls and orders from people who walk into the restaurant. I am so tired of being treated like crap when patronizing businesses that I don't have to do business with in the first place. SMH Okay, whatever. I feel like this is such a petty thing for restaurants to do. If I have to drive all the way back to get my correct order, you can at least throw some free fries in there as well. I didn't even receive a we're sorry, it was our fault for the mix-up or anything. Horrible business practices. Not to mention the nasty attitude I was given over the phone and the two small pieces of fish I was given when I came back to pick up my order. How crazy unbelievable. It's not like it's the best or healthiest food in the world and typically when you order this food it's your cheat day. It's okay. I can definitely take my cheating self somewhere else. I definitely will not be back.
