Mainly being a pescatarian that is allergic to regular fish but can have shellfish, you might wonder, what can I get at Chick-fil-A? A salad, mac and cheese, and fries!!!! Their kale salad had a good mixture of kale and cabbage that is tossed in an apple vinaigrette and dijon mustard vinaigrette. Let's not forget almonds!!! It was fresh and crisp! A good mix of the two dressings and very well balanced. The mac was creamy and filling. I love the few bits "burnt" cheese edges. Very tasty. The fries were crisp and fresh! And tasty when dipped in the honey mustard sauce. The service is on par with what you expect. Great. Overall, quick service, good food but not too filing!!! I'd return again! read more

Always a five star experience at chick fil a. It's clean, staff is friendly, and they have a nice play area for the kids. My kids know to eat quickly here so they can have some play time here at the end. Chick fil a is definitely a level above the other fast food restaurants. The cashiers are friendly. They always say "my pleasure". Customer service is superb and I've never had any issues. They will always try to fix whatever problem you may have with your order. They even come around to throw away your trash sometimes! (Unheard of at other fast food restaurants). read more

Every visit to this chik-fil-a has resulted in something wrong with the order. One time it was not having my kids drink, wrong drink altogether, no sauce. To compound the wrong orders, this chick-fil-a is unlike any other I have been to in terms of chik-fil-A's being renown for their politeness and structure. There is no greeting, no instance of the order being read back (maybe that would eliminate orders being wrong), someone verifying the order is correct. Their drive thru is also sketchy to where the online order converges into the main drive thru line very awkwardly. read more

My granddaughters and I had a really great experience last evening at Chick-fil-A in Kildeer. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, the playland, although small was clean and the girls had fun in there. The food is good but the mobile drive through and pick up experience SUCKS, The order is supposed to be sent to your mobile but it never arrives and you need to tell them you have arrived before they will start the order. Chick-fil-A confirmed it's position today as the #1 customer service provider in the fast food industry! My son and I came in for lunch and we sat on the patio in the outdoor seating. It was about 90 degrees out. A CFA associate came by and asked my son if he'd like a drink. My son said "No" so he offered to get him a cup of water. How cool is that? I'm usually here for breakfast, just a timing thing when I am going through Crystal Lake. Variation today, hit at lunchtime, boy are they crazy busy. You can take out, dine-in, dine outside, or curbside pick up. Surprised they haven't added valet parking. I got the fingers meals, with the waffle fries, and a sugar-free lemonade. Chicken extremely crispy, juicy inside, love waffle fries if they are cooked thru (these weren't) and the lemonade was great. The chicken portions, however, are very small. Wish they'd make a change with that. Post the covid, they don't have the giant bins of condiments out for the public as they used to, very limited selection. I hope that will return, you can make some pretty interesting variations on your food with what they put out. These have to be the happiest and most pleasant fast-food workers in the industry. The food was very good however I was very taken aback by the fact that there was no actual whole fries in the whole pack and i noted how there was a lot of crust in the mac and cheese and this made me feel many ways but i was mostly confused and hurt. I wanna start of by commending the gentleman who was able to make the drink I wanted. I've been to many Chik-fil-A's and a lot of them tell me that they can't make it for some reason. I asked the gentleman at the drive thru if he could make me a frosted Hi-C fruit punch, something not on the regular menu per se, like I said many places have told me no but here he said "sure no problem". Lately the workers at this establishment have not been saying "my pleasure" whenever i say "thank you" they would either respond with "yup" or "your welcome" with somewhat of an attitude. Another problem i have with their establishment is that their food keeps getting colder and colder each time i come in, their fries for the past couple times i've dined in were cold and not edible. But other than their fries their food has been quite exquisite. The reason why i am giving this review a one star is because this Chick-fil-a specifically has began to fall off, as in their customer service and taking 10-20mins to serve food when there is an empty lobby and little to no cars in the drive thru. Either this restaurant needs to step up their game or retrain their employees for better customer service and food expectations. read more

As much as I was a fan of Chick-fil-A , I will be not buying from this location anymore. This past month alone the salad that I religiously buy now makes me sick to my stomach. Customer service is lacking lately. I was recently shocked that they no longer give out sauce unless you're ordering nuggets. I used to be able to swap the salad dressing for several Chick-fil-A sauce instead. The past month i was basically forced to buy a bottle of sauce, which was fine, I literally had no choice and I purchased 2 bottles on different occasions. I usually do drive-thru for this location and its usually for breakfast. I am never really disappointed. I usually order the chicken biscuit meal - spicy of course! Their biscuit is very buttery and falls apart but is so worth it. The mini hash browns are also very good. I sometimes order my biscuit with add-ons such as cheese and/or pickles. Popped round for breakfast when I found myself early for a meeting in the area. Ordered their chicken biscuit sandwich meal combo. Rather tasty. Not the best "fast food" breakfast biscuit (Hardee's takes the cake), but not missing the top spot by much. Hash rounds were crispy and hot. Big fan of the diet lemonade. Hard to tell it lacks sugar, very refreshing. As I was there on a weekday morning, should not have been surprised that the pay area seemed to be a big hit with local mums and children. I first tried Chick-fil-A about a couple of years ago. People I know raved about how tender the chicken sandwich was and how great the customer service was--- and they were right. The first time I went to Chick-fil-A, their customer service blew me away. They're very friendly, patient, helpful and cordial. When I reviewed their chicken sandwich Menu, I went with their spicy chicken deluxe. Their sandwich condiments are lettuce, tomato & pickles. I was surprised they did not have onions, but I'm OK with that. So the spicy chicken includes pepper jack cheese, and that is a great addition. For me, I only add Mayo. And yes, their chicken is so tender!! They also offer an array of sauces. So if you want to increase the spiciness, they have buffalo sauce. Chick fil A offers small chicken pieces as a meal or an array of salads. I have not tried them yet. This location offers a drive-through service which makes picking up dinner convenient. read more
