With tempered expectations, I ordered my first 8 piece, opting to try the wings in their most basic form: the golden original bone-in wings. This comes with no seasoning or sauce, just a crispy exterior. Immediately on my first bite I knew the exterior texture of these wings was on point. Light but crunchy, not overly-oily and quite frankly an addicting crisp. The internal chicken was juicy and succulent as advertised, though I'll note I had to spit out a little more cartilage than I would ideally like from a bone-in wing. It's just a little harder with heavily breaded wings to tell what is edible meat and what is cartilage. Though unseasoned and un-sauced, the golden original was totally satisfying on its own and the flavor of the chicken and its delectable texture was more than sufficient. This first experience was positive enough to warrant a return visit, so the next time around I ordered the "Bboom" chicken, another 8 piece. There is no shortage of the seasoning powder on this one, and upon first bite all I could say was "wow"-- I was hooked. My favorite foods have a sweet and savory balance and that ratio is perfectly dialed in here in my opinion. Though advertised as a cheesy flavor, I got more of a sweet/savory butter note-- that flavor seriously fails to get old to me. The same delicate crisp of the golden original was present here, but I'll note the same small issue with cartilage here as well. On my most recent-- and what will definitely not be my last--visit, I wanted to try the "full chicken" to see how the consistency varies across different- sized chicken pieces. I went with the honey garlic and enjoyed the sauce. Despite being a wet sauce (the others I tried are dry powder rubs,) the crisp factor is still strong. I will say that I found some of the bigger chicken pieces a little internally dry in the full chicken. The last variety I tried was the "cheesling" which I found pretty similar to the Bboom, though sweeter and less savory. Because it was a little more dominantly sweet, I didn't enjoy this one quite as much as the Bboom but it was still solid to me. I would give this experience a solid 8/10 overall, my few notes of light critique being: -The prices are a little high, though not outrageous to me. 14.95 for 8 wings seemed ludicrous to me at first but these are sizable and filling and to me a bit elevated in quality compared to the biggest fast food chain wing options. -The aforementioned cartilage issues. -These wings, even the pain golden original, can be a bit heavy on the stomach. It's not something I can eat super often despite the craving I've developed for it. I've ordered carry out each time and it's been timely, accurate to estimated order-ready times and they do a good job of keeping the food hot with thicker-than-average take out boxes.

Between us we got a hot chix sandwich, chicken tenders, seasoned fries, and where else could you get chicken and waffles in the middle of the day? First off, there are a number of sauces to choose from. And the fries came out crispy and well seasoned. Both good signs. But most importantly, the star of the show just has to be the chicken. Specifically that unique Nashville style of chicken with that unique Nashville cayenne-based seasoning. Ok...so the chicken tasted incredibly fresh, it was thick, juicy, and meaty. There was no way it spent any time under a heat lamp. The spice level at a medium worked for me. A slight glisten of sweat on the ol' forehead. The flavor was there, keeping in mind this isn't a drown your chicken into a pit of bbq sauce type of place. It's a dry rub Nashville heat. So be mindful of that. I am used to Nashville chicken having an oily finish, but this didn't have that (which didn't bother me). The place appeared 5 stars clean. The service was 5 star fantastic. And the food was 100% fresh tasting. Technically, I give it 4-1/2 stars for two reasons. A half star off only because they really are missing a drink station with a sweet and non-sweet tea option for some authenticity. Also because the sauces didn't "Wow" anybody. They did not have fountain drinks. The food came out shortly. My etra hot sandwich tray was tagged as 'Hot' w/ three symbols. I asked them if that meant the sandwich was just 'Hot' and not 'Xtra Hot' and I was told that if I ordered extra hot then it meant it was extra hot. My sandwich was really delicious. The flavor was good and the texture was nice. The Xtra Hot flavor was not overwhelming but also it did not seem like the extra hot they said I should be mindful of because it was going to be very spicy. My sandwich was decently crunchy and the pickles and coleslaw had a tad bit of sweetness that went well with the heat of the fried chicken. The Brioche bun was well toasted. The fried chicken patty was decent in size. The Honey Butter fried chicken was a major letdown. It's a sandwich in Brioche bun w/ fried chicken and only spicy honey butter (no pickles or slaw). The bun and the fried chicken were drenched in melted butter but there was no taste of sweet heat or just sweet honey. The fried chicken patty didn't have any flavor either. We mentioned it to the staff members and they apologized for the way it turned out for us. The crinkle cut fries were okay. They were soft and unevenly seasoned. The seasoning was decent in taste. Overall, we had a decent experience. The service was okay. My original Nashville hot chicken was delicious but the Honey Butter chicken sandwich was anything but delicious.
