Approaching the drive through line was a bit busy but when it came to the ordering side it was just a car in front of me and then comes me the second lane was bit busy. Tell me why it took so long for someone to come to my car window to attend to me and take my order when that lane had 2 worker while the second lane just have one ? And that one worker was walking up to each car in that lane as soon as she was finished. I guess gone are the days of prompt and cheerful service. Rather than walking to my car and taking my order, the drive thru order takers were having a discussion amongst themselves whether not climate change was manmade (one pro, one against). To his credit, the young man walked up to the car next to me and took their order, while the one in my lane stood by, and also chit chatted with the person taking cash payments. I want to share my experience with this location when ordering catering/delivery to my home. Out of every Chick-fil-A in Jacksonville, and I've ordered from all of them, including River City, both beach locations, Riverside and this is the only location that refuses to put a safety seal/cover on the drink. Not only do they not seal the drink, but when I called to ask about it, I was told that they "don't do that" and that covering the drink is "unsanitary" and "sticky." This was surprising, considering every other Chick-fil-A in Jacksonville places a cover or safety seal over the cup without any issue. I explained that not sealing the drink is actually extremely unsanitary for obvious reasons. The drink is being delivered by a stranger. Anyone handling it can open it, put something in it, sip from it, or tamper with it. Drinks are exposed to open air, contaminants, and handling during transport. Customers order delivery because they may not have a car or simply want a quick meal, they shouldn't have to worry about their drink being unsafe. The employee acknowledged they knew it was unsanitary but still said it's not something they'll do. The level of carelessness in the response was honestly disappointing. Every other location manages to seal drinks properly, and those seals are not "sticky." They come off easily, I could show a video of how simple they are to remove. There's no reason this location can't provide the same basic level of sanitation and safety. All I asked for was a simple cover. Nothing excessive, just the bare minimum to ensure customers feel safe consuming something delivered to them. Instead, I was told they won't do it, even while acknowledging the hygiene concern. This is the only Chick-fil-A in Jacksonville that handles drinks this way, and the only one that dismisses valid customer concerns about sanitation. I really hope management reconsiders this policy, because it's not only inconsistent with other locations, it's unsafe. read more

I don't eat a lot of "fast food" but I'm a huge fan of Chick-fil-a! I frequent this location and haven't had a bad experience yet. In fact, the employees are starting to recognize me. The staff is always friendly and the food is always made fresh and promptly. I only gave atmosphere a 4 because I feel like their counter that's set up for pick up and what not is a little small. And the area where people congregate for pick up is also small and right by the entrance which tends to make it a little chaotic during certain times of the day. I'm sure it's probably hard on the employees working pick up too but it's not their fault that they're so popular at meal times! There are many parking spots that surround the entire restaurant and drive thru lanes but the spots are on the tighter side. There is not much room for parking lot traffic and parking can sometimes hold up people trying to exit. On a recent trip, some jerk left his driver side door open so no one could park in the spot next to him while he was leaning up on someone else's car on the other side of his vehicle. A long line of cars formed and there was a lot of honking but he just continued to lean on someone else's car playing on his phone without a care. read more

I was with my mom and wife and we did a mobile order. Carry out wasn't an option so we were stuck with doing drive thru. There isn't a different drive thru line for mobile orders soooooo what's the point of doing mobile order if you're going to have to wait in the line that wraps around the entire building with everyone that still needs to place their order? After we weighted in line for 15 minutes we pulled up to the girl that was taking orders and she told us they didn't have the parfait that my ordered. I know it's not her fault, but why were we able to order something on the app that wasn't available? It's 2021, I feel like that's something that should be easy to fix. My chicken breakfast bagel was good. I make a couple substitutions and they got them all correct so that's a plus. We don't go to the Town Center often. I'm not say I won't go back but it's not a place I'd make a point to go to when I'm in the area. read more

I am not a big fan of Chick fil a but once in awhile I will go here. I love the breakfast here I will order the chicken minis or the sausage bowl which that's what I had this morning and of course with hash brown! I always get the half lemonade and half sweet tea for my drinks and I think the lady thought I said half sweet tea half unsweet tea because when I got my drink it was not sweet at all and I don't drink unsweet tea at all. They usually have a line in the morning (well i think its the whole day) at the drive thru but this morning I was in and out well maybe I waited for a little bit for order but other than that they are always quick and that's what I like about them! The morning staff is amazing. Often times don't even have to place my order, my order is already in by the time I spin around the drive thru lane. I beg this Chick Fil A to please take care of their staff and find them places to go for the four months during remodel and please get them all back for the re-open! Yep, another great Chick-Fil-A. I have yet to meet a bad one; although, I have heard about a bad one out in Cali from a fellow Yeep (*waves to Rohlin*). I must say I was shocked too because that is so not the Chick-Fil-A norm. But I digress... I'm reviewing this particular Chick-Fil-A. It's at the Town Centre, so it gets more traffic than some of your other Chick-Fil-A restaurants. Then again, everything at the Town Centre gets more traffic. I'm impressed though because even though the drive-thru lane often wraps around the building during peek times, they keep it moving quickly. Fast and friendly service at the drive-thru. I've also eaten inside here. Food is also fast and friendly. Served with a smile and a "My pleasure." Love that they have free Wifi. Even though they don't have waiter service (it's a fast food place), the employees do come 'round and offer to refill your drinks and offer to take your tray if they notice you are finished with your meal. I think that's a nice touch. It's also really cool they keep fresh flowers on the tables. I think that's also a nice little touch... even if a certain friend of mine does like to take a flower or two with her (*smiles at Jennifer*). LOL I was at the counter ordering the other night and telling my friend about how good the soft serve ice cream is here. She'd never had it. The guy behind the counter was more than happy to get a sample for her. BTW: If you've never had ice cream from Chick-Fil-A, try some on your next visit! I often go to Chick-Fil-A just to get ice cream b/c I'm craving it. Restaurant is clean inside and out. They have free WiFi. Closed on Sundays (as are ALL Chick-Fil-A restaurants). I know.. they have certain religious policies they adhere to and apparently certain political things going on (I don't pay attention to politics) and I know a lot of people have a problem with Chick-Fil-A because of it. I am always pleasantly surprised of the deceptively "efficient" car flow through the drive thru - always smooth and quick when you have the in person staff taking orders in the Car lane (vice at the window). I made my way to her after a few minutes and ordered a chick fil A biscuit meal with hot coffee. With a credit card, she took care of the transaction right then and there (and applied my military discount)! When I drove up to the pick up window, my meal and coffee were good to go - I made it to the office with 5 minutes to spare before my conference call! BTW, the meal was delicious - moist biscuit and savory chick fil A. Coffee was perfectly made as requested with cream and sugar - still piping hot! I came in the other day to purchase some food for some family. I parked and walked into the building, as I felt I'd have more time to look at the menu if I wanted to get something for myself. The first thing I noticed was this group of teenagers. They seemed happy and were joking around with each other. I didn't think anything of it until one of them who I will refer to as fent-boy pulled out a small white rectangle and began twirling it around. He then popped the thing into his mouth and exhaled a large amount of vapor while shouting "Fent-pen!" The ethics of vaping in a crowded public building are uncomfortable enough at best, especially since he and his friend informed me that they were fourteen, and then offered to sell me drugs. Loudly, in said public crowded building. A shorter woman pushed passed them, demanding they not vape in the building. They agreed, and continued to vape once she was out of eyeshot. Soon enough fent-boy received his milkshake and demanded of a dark-haired employee to tell him where his sandwich was. She looked exasperated by the tone of the question, which was indeed very dude-bro aggressive. Further in line once fent-boy had received his sandwich, he and his ginger friend asked me if I was a lesbian. I suppose I can understand the comment. I have shorter hair than average in a layered cut, but the abruptness caught me so off guard that I answered honestly instead of ignoring them like I should. Upon hearing no, they laugh and assume I'm bisexual, telling me I must like it both ways. Fent-boy brought his hands to his mouth and began miming the act of licking someone in a way I was not comfortable witnessing, while his ginger friend grabbed the railing of the line and began doing vogue-esque poses, or maybe just wiggling, it was very unclear. I asked how old they thought I was and they responded with. "We don't care!" The ginger one following with. "Why would we care?" Pause. "Dumbass." Another pause. "Shit for brains." They both giggled. It is worth noting that during this entire altercation the two, especially fent-boy, were making hand gestures at me. Sign the number four with your hand, thumb tucked in. Then, reach your middle finger over your ring finger. Your hand should look like an odd W with a loop in the middle. I don't know what that means, but they waved it around a lot. Finally, I was called up to have my order taken. I showed the cashier my phone with my father's request to me since at this point I was so uncomfortable I was having trouble forming coherent thoughts. I love Chick-fil-A in general and I am writing this review as a business to business type review. I do delivery's with Doordash and yesterday I had 3 deliveries with this Chick-fil-A. They made my job so easy. Quick pick up and orders 100% accurate every time. Didn't have to worry about where to park or get out of my car. There is a designated area for DD drivers to park and once you click "I've arrived" in the app a nice gentleman brings out the order and off you go to the delivery. I recently took my kids in when my husband was out of town to get out their energy and dinner. We ended up staying longer than normal (good times had by all) when my kids (3 & 5) were bagging me about ice cream.
