It doesn't make sense that this isn't part of the opening procedure before they open and not something that the customers are expected to do. Even more frustrating is the portioning: fries used to be served in full containers, but now it feels like they're being strategically stacked to give the illusion of a full order. During my recent order I received a medium fry that literally had five fries. I'm not someone who complains lightly. I contacted the Chick-fil-A Cares hotline and the store directly about these issues last year. I followed up for two months with no response. On my last visit I had a pleasant surprise. They mistakenly gave me someone else's order. The order was a bigger $$ than mine. When I called Chik-Fil-A they took my name & told me my meal will be waiting next time I visit. I did not believe it at first. The next time I visited I asked about it & they gave me my past order. A pleasant surprise. If you want a great tasting & fresh sandwich for lunch, for me, nothing beats the Grilled Chicken sandwich at Chik-Fil-A. Other favorites are the Chicken Noodle Soup & kale salad. The soup is thick with chicken pieces & noodles. The Kale salad with a light lemony taste is sooo good. Everything I've ordered have been satisfying and I keep coming back. There's no indoor dining just orders to go. The app is easy to use & you can accumulate points to redeem. Roosevelt Chic-fil-a is by far the worst chic-fil-a we ever been. I despised this location so much I stopped going here for months and I am actually okay with it. Unfortunately, this is the closest chic-fil-a where we live and to be honest I will rather go to Publix and get their chicken tenders than me going here. We had so much issues when we first started going here, one time we waited for almost 20 minutes in the drive thru and we asked why was our order taking a long time and they told us it's because we ordered a complicated order LOL. my husband ordered a chicken sandwich and maybe he just wanted something to remove or maybe to add on and that is not complicated at all. That is one of the issue we have with them. Parking here is bad just because this chic-fil-a is so busy. Sometimes it's great- good fresh lettuce, good amount of chicken and fruit. Finally they've gotten the drive thru a little in order, where mobile orders are on the outside and the drive thru is on the inside, that way the workers don't have to walk across the mobile line and wait for the traffic to clear to give guest their food. It wasn't the numerous times that I've gotten my food straight from the kitchen and the food is lukewarm, no. What really got me today, was the 8 count nugget I got. They really had the audacity to cut my 7th nugget in half to make two smaller nuggets. OK. Usually if I press 3 stars it's a restaurant that I don't normally schedule for revisit. But THIS is Chick-Fil-A! It just magically pulls me in at times and after a rock solid workout this afternoon, it was time to treat myself. I've been to this Chick-Fil-A on multiple occasions, so I have no problem saying a few words about it. It sits in a great location on Roosevelt Blvd. Very easy to find with the can't miss tall sign out front. Every time I come here, the drive-thru is packed and backed up majorly. You think that would make things easier inside - NOT! Lines are not short very often in here. Many people who didn't want to wait at the drive thru come in and do take take-out. Now, on first appearance, there is nothing very spectacular about the interior of this fast-food outlet. It's basic in design - few taller tables and some of the basic four-seater tables. It also stood out that the floor had not been swept for hours. Here's where I became a victim! I was sitting on one of the shorter tables waiting for a taller one while waiting for my treat. Then, as I was getting up and pivoting to make my move, my left leg was shot blood red from an exploding ketchup package that a "courteous" customer left behind on the deck. It was a frustrating moment - but it was just a moment. I usually order the nuggets meal and get a frosted beverage. It was just fries and lemonade frosted today. It was terrific as always. So, what make Chick-Fil-A so special? Usually shops that appear unkept lose customers. Not here. The heart of Chick-Fil-A is about superb customer service and an excellent product. This review isn't about the food that this Chick-fil-A dishes up. (Though it is consistently good--always hot & fresh.) Rather, I want to note the service and vibe that this busy location exudes. I recently dined in and, as I finished my breakfast, couldn't help but make several observations. First, more than one smiling staff member passed by my table during my visit and asked how I was doing. Such a simple gesture, but so noted. There was also a uniformed police officer eating breakfast by himself and I saw another patron thank him for his service. It's no wonder Chick-fil-A is such a wildly successful fast food chain: when you put good energy and positivity out into the universe, I wholeheartedly believe it comes back to you ten-fold. Eventually my daughter had to use the bathroom so we went in and I proceeded to speak with a manager about the wait. As I walked in the gay lead (an overweight Latino or Hawaiian) outside spotted me going in and asked someone in the window to make a Coke. How unprofessional...and I told this to the manager as I watched him do it while I was speaking with her. She said she would find out why and I told her I would like the answer after I take my daughter to the bathroom. When I came back to her she said they brought your soda to your truck. And I told her that's not what I asked her and why did I have to wait so long for it?! The customer service here if you eat inside is top notch. Clifford was our go-to guy and took care of our dining needs. I ordered the grilled chicken combo and my boy went with the spicy chicken combo. We both subbed out our side for the tortilla soup and chicken noodle soup, but still ordered two large fries as an afterthought. Gotta' have the waffle fries! The soups were really delicious, too. Unfortunately, they were out of the original BBQ Sauce which was very disappointing so Clifford suggested their Chick-fil-A Sauce instead. Wow. First time for me and now I have a second favorite. Definitively give it a try. Overall, exceptional experience at this location and it's a nice touch that they use real flowers for table decor. Yes I touched it. I stopped by this fast food restaurant on Saturday, right around 1pm and they were packed! Though not the closest Chik-fil-a to my neighborhood, I've been to this location many times and never had it been this busy. I had to wait in line just to get around the building to a parking spot and they even had an employee directing traffic. Fortunately, there was one spot on the other side of the building. I made my way past the two drive thru lanes and into the quiet vestibule, expecting a chaotic and noisy dining room. Surprisingly, though most all of the tables were filled up, the youngsters must've been in the playroom or eating like adults. It took no time to order, a chicken sandwich on whole grain with honey roasted BBQ sauce. I brought in my bottled water and gave the friendly cashier vitamin no on the combo. Then I took a seat at one of the few open tabletops on the side and waited for my $5.69 lunch. Apparently, the short wait for my food turned into a fast casual experience, where I watched all of the busy "ness" of the various orders being filled. Finally, I heard my name, raised my hand and they brought it right to the table. Hot and delicious, like I knew it would be, it hit the spot. Busy drive-thru due to the libby being closed. They erected the new two lane drive-thru with staff outdoors but communication can be a problem. Our order was not fully correct as conveyed to the next stop, the charged amount was correct. This resulted in our getting most if our order right away but waiting in line till all the cars in both lines were assisted and left. What held us up? A small half cut tea and an ice-cream cone. I have been a regular here for nearly 15 years. It used to be a great CFA. Always a bit on the busy side but nothing the staff couldn't handle. Ever since the remodel it has gotten progressively worse. The place is overflowing all the time. The drive through is a nightmare. I always use the mobile app and it would be helpful if more people did, but even that doesn't help if you're stuck waiting 30 minutes in the drive thru at an otherwise fast food place. Even using the mobile app where my order is exact and spelled out perfectly they are still getting wrong. I don't have that kind of time to be waiting so long for food only for it to be wrong and then my only recourse is to go inside or sit and wait again. Also seems to be too many "special days" making it way too crowded all the Dear Owner/ Operator: Please figure out what's going wrong with your location. Employees are obviously worn out from the constant barrage of cars and are getting it wrong all too often. It doesn't seem to matter what time of day I come it's ALWAYS ridiculously over crowded. I'm sure that's good for business but I'll take mine elsewhere if it can't be quick, reliable, hot, and worth my time. Update: Taking a star away from this location because dang! Even when ordering on the app where it is spelled out perfectly they are still leaving items out. People are still line jumping in the drive thru and nothing will ever be done about that. One of the worst Chick-fil-A's I've ever been to. I've been to Chick-fil-A all over the country. This Chick-fil-A first of all has terrible parking- its single drive through that they have poorly converted to a double drive-through, taking up all of the road space and ability to park. The newer Chick-fil-A's have those beautiful two and 3 Lane Drive throughs with the overhangs- yet, in one of the largest cities in the United States we have one of the most poorly constructed Chick-fil-A's I have ever seen. Don't expect to breeze in grab your food and be on your way. Last evening I did a mobile order. Pulled in and told them what spot I was in. The wait time was 24 minutes to get my food. Today I went through the drive-through thinking that may be faster. I ordered my food immediately but sat in the drive-through for 17 minutes while they haphazardly gave people food very much out of order. They would serve three cars behind me and two cars in front of me were still waiting to get theirs. The person in the front of the line took the longest because they messed up the order which kept the entire line from moving forward for over 15 minutes. So instead of moving that person out of the way while they fixed it, they would rather hold up the entire line for 15 minutes. The workers seem like they would rather be anywhere else. I wouldn't say they were rude, but they were not what I am used to with a Chick-fil-A employee. They did not say "my pleasure" once you said thank you and the look on the face of the girl that brought out my food, looked like "could you please take those because I'm sick of this place. " She practically threw the bag at me. In addition they do not provide a receipt so please check to make sure that they have charged you the correct amount.
