His energy, kindness, and professionalism made the entire visit feel extra welcoming. We stopped here on the way to the beach, and it was really such a great experience for us. We stopped by for breakfast today on our way back home to Indiana. The service was timely and the food was good: wife got a breakfast sandwich and I got the minis. This Chick-Fil-A is located off one of Vestavia's main roads so it gets a lot of traffic. Thankfully, the parking lot and drive thru lanes are pretty big and mostly accommodate. I typically order through the app so I appreciate the quick and friendly service from their team. Even when I've gone during peak lunch hours they were still upbeat and helpful. First of all, I love Chick-fil-A and have loved eating here for years. I worked at a Chick-fil-A nearby for over 4 years so, I know how a CFA is ran to some extent. I would say that this location gets our order correct about 30% of the time. It is always something, either forgotten sauces/dressings for salads or just incorrect item in general. When I have had issues and gone inside to get them to fix it, the interactions I have had have been much different than the CFA standard. No apologies, just fixing the problem and moving onto the next person. I stood up at the front for a few minutes just waiting for someone to ask me if I needed help, multiple employees saw me and just walked right past. The food for the most part is still good, just think some things could be improved. More customer focused instead of just doing the job of cashier. More focus on accurate bagging including salad toppings/dressings/sauces/utensils. read more

This is my second favorite Chick Fil A. The best one is the one in the Grove in Hoover near Target. The service here is good like all other Chick Fil As and honestly I can't complain much about the food either. The spicy chicken sandwich and waffle fries make my day. There's an older woman who works there and means well but one day she came over to me and started searching my table. She said a young woman lost her MK wallet and noticed my purse was MK. I was super insulted at first but told her I'd help her look for it. I got the feeling she thought I had it because she only searched my table. But I excused her because she is super old and from "that time." I think she felt bad later so she kept asking me if I needed anything. The traffic surrounding this place is hectic, they have 2 lanes and sometimes staff directs traffic, but the location isn't optimal because the strip mall behind it is super busy. During Christmas it is covered in flashing lights and occasionally you'll find live music albeit Christian rock inside. There's no war on Christmas here, lol. I Waitr from here quite a bit. Chick fil A is pretty awesome but just be forewarned that this is probably the worst location. They consistently have longer than usual waits in the drive thru. I have in several times thought "why did I get in this drive thru line" only to remember "oh yeah, I'm addicted to Chick fil A" and I wait it out. Be warned, it's just not the fast moving line you have probably come to expect at CFA. I know this next thing is little but it is the little things that count and make this chain so special in the fast food world... They are not nearly as consistent in saying "my pleasure" as ALL of the other CFA locations I have visited. This lack of consistency, that is easily recognizable, is an indication of this location's overall inconsistency. It's like Chick-fil-a is not aware of how popular they are and how big of a footprint they need when building out their location. My friends and I are road tripping across the US to get to Florida and got a flat tire in Hoover. After replacing it with the spare and exchanging our rental car, we needed to grab dinner before hitting the road. We wanted something quick but tasty and dependable so we couldn't think of anything better than a CFA. We found one along our route and ended up here. This was by far the worst CFA experience I've ever had. We waited in line for food after observing a manager try to find more people to work the registers but somehow couldn't find more than 2 people to take orders. We ordered food and went to sit down. After passing a few tables that weren't occupied but cluttered with trash, we found our spot. One of my friends got her milkshake before she sat down, the other two had to remind the staff of their order, one of which asked twice. When another friends salad came, it arrive made incorrectly and was talked back to the kitchen for revisions. While one of the others sipped her milkshake, another was brought to the table but her food never arrived. 10 minutes later she went up to remind the team again and their response was "oh you didn't get that yet?" No apology, no compensation for her time. While all of this was going on, we watched as three separate staff members sat down to take their breaks. At 6pm on a Saturday. My go-to's are the chicken biscuit for breakfast and the chicken sandwich for lunch. Sometimes I get it spicy too, depending on my mood. I ordered the original chicken sandwich and fries. The customer service at this location was great, and the workers were warm and inviting and seemed to like their jobs. It was so cold outside that day and they were still outside with smiles. My food was good. The chicken sandwich was good as it is consistently at this location, I just did not get the pickles that usually come with it. My fries on the other hand were overly salted and cold even though I ate them as soon as I got them. It seemed as though they had been sitting there all day. I was not able to finish them. Unfortunately, I have been fighting the common cold this past week and haven't had much appetite. Knowing I needed to eat something, I always love Chick fil A and decided to pick up some for dinner at about 8pm last night. Not wanting to risk spreading my germs, I placed a curbside order from the app. I really love this feature they offer because you don't have to walk in/make contact with multiple people to place and obtain your order. I am not sure of the COVID precautions for this location because I did not enter the building. After entering my space number upon arrival, my food was brought out within 5 minutes. When I got back home, my order was correct- an 8 piece nugget meal with medium fries and a lemonade - but the food was not warm (restaurant is 7 mins away) and the fries did not taste fresh. They gave me enough napkins and Chick fil A sauce (nice for sustainability), but forgot to put a straw in my bag for my drink. Luckily I had extra at home. However, I do realize I went later towards the 9pm closing time and with every Chick fil A experience I've had, the food is always fresh and delicious. read more

I went here the other day to get breakfast and the line was very long but was moving fast. I ordered a chicken biscuit entree but when I got to the window they gave me a chicken sandwich. I told them they got the order wrong and they gave me not only one chicken biscuit, but an extra one and a order of hashbrowns for free. When they do something wrong they are quick to fix it and they value every customer like their the only customer. The restaurant is very clean and people are always focused on their jobs. Out of the hundred times I have been here I have never seen a worker sitting on their phone and doing nothing when the restaurant is busy. This is a very nice Chick-fil-A. They have a very friendly staff both at the drive through as well as the indoor ordering area. The drive through is quick with two lines to speed up the ordering process. My orders have always been accurate and FRESH. Inside is clean and spacious, however at normal lunch times they can be quite busy and full. They process orders quickly inside with multiple employees taking orders. Very, very friendly. They go all out at Christmas time completely decorating the drive through as a winter wonderland syncing music that you can play on your car radio. I received and paid for a full meal when I only ordered the biscuit and orange juice.... called and the morning manager that names starts with a J stated if I came back the next morning he would make it right... so as usual the very next day I was back as this is on the way to work and have ordered here almost every day since last year. This time I went inside to make sure I could talk to the manager... of course he was not available and the staff would not get him... they checked my name against " the book" apparently they keep a list of call ins.... well my name was not on there..... so I paid for my food and left... this was not the first time I had to deal with this location messing something up.... but it will be my last.... This Chick-fil-a is so nice. It is super clean and the employees are always sweet. They have really nice decorations. The only thing that kind of sucks is it is SUPER crowded at lunch time. They have people that go into the parking lot to try and direct some of the traffic and make things run smoother but there is always a line! This review is not about the food, everyone knows that Chic fil a provides you with delicious hot food and excellent customer service. Ummm, well not tonight. Tonight I was not pleased with the service that I recieved. I decided to redeem my free 8ct chicken nuggets (thanks for my reward, I really appreciate them), I ordered an 8ct grilled nugget bc after reading the reward it didn't say that you couldn't get grilled. Got to the window to scan my app and pay for my side of mac n cheese. My card was charged almost $8. I began to ask why and to make sure that my card was scanned, after a few minutes, the lady in the window stated it must be bc you have grilled nuggets, the reward is only for the fried. My head is hurting from a hard day at work, ok even though the reward didn't say that, cool, I'll pay, however I asked what's the difference in price between me purchasing an 8ct and mac n cheese separately and just purchasing the meal (meaning adding a drink to what I already have) we began to hear crickets and that's where the confusion started. The worker world not listen to our question and began to talk over us, she got the manager to refund me 82 cents which would be the difference between the price of a fried 8ct and a grilled 8ct. We expressed to her, that was not what I asked or wanted to do I want to add a drink to make it a meal if it is going to be the same, cheaper, or even a few cents more. She was still on the 82 cents being given back, while holding my card. She wad getting flustered and it seemed that the manager was becoming sick of the situation bc he stated, what does she want to do refund her meal or take the 82 cents. No sir, since I can't get my nuggets free I want to pay for meal, not an entree and a side! I wish that he would have came to the window to take charge bc she wasn't doing a good job listening to my request, and relaying what I was saying to him. By this time the line was backed up and I think the managers frustration was more towards let's get her what she wants so we can get this line down, which couldve been handled if he had stepped up to the window to assist. Long story short, I was refunded my 82 cents, my question was never answered, and I didn't get a drink, or a my pleasure. read more
