I walked in and was immediately blown away. Not only do they have a play place, but it is the cleanest, freshest, and friendliest chik fil a I have ever laid eyes on. I almost immediately saw a chalk board with not only every birthday of the month, but also a picture of the employee of the month, Alex! I then noticed he was taking his break and approached him with a hearty congratulations. He took it like a champ, making me this he truly deserved this honor. When we sat down to order we noticed they had heart shaped biggest platter. Score!!! While we were sitting there the employee of the month Alex came around with free spicy chicken sandwiches. I've been to this location a few times and haven't had many issues with the food, other than the sodas being low on syrup and not tasting like much. My main concerns come from the service. Almost every time I come, the workers are rather rude and I even had a team lead who took my order and didn't greet me, just sighed at me when I told him what I wanted to order. Especially at a higher position, I would expect them to at least say hello and talk to me respectfully, not huff and puff. How rude! I've only been through the drive-thru, so I can't say much about what it's like inside. Overall, other than the poor customer service, this location is pretty average. Four orders in a row, I've ordered unsweetened iced tea. Four times, it's been sweet tea. They simply don't listen. Ever. And they're much slower than most locations. And they habitually undercook their chicken and fries. You can't undercook chicken without it being a health hazard. Go to ANY other location; but avoid this one like it's Ebola. read more

I have always had a wonderful experience at this location. I usually do the drive-thru, but today I went inside with my toddler. The play place is very clean and fun. They brought our order to our table, gave my toddler a big sticker and the waitress checked in with us to make sure we had everything a couple times. Not sure why this franchise seems to struggle with cooking the food correct to standard, fries are often undercooked some taste like raw potato mushy not crunchy, actually a few had to spit out, nasty. When I complained manager brought me another order cooked same way said it was due to new oi. Sandwich portions of chicken often seem inconsistent as well compared to Gainesville location. That said when I complain they do try to fix it. 6/29: Again the sandwich was horrible and this time shake tasted watery and fake like it was artificial powder type like McDs, requested refund after 2nd remake. There has not been a more quick and efficient Chick-fil-a service, nay fast food service in my lifetime. I drive up through the drive-thru and place an order with a real human being who is standing there with a tablet in front of the order screen.. Then I drive forward to a little tent where I pay with a woman outside. Then I drive to the window and a man hands me my sandwich. Then I ask for some chick-fil-a sauce and he tells me drive forward. Yes... there is literally a man with all of the sauces outside under a tent right in front of me. It was essentially like a Henry Ford Assembly Line style service that worked out so well. I had stopped on a road trip ( which I hate doing)... but I was literally in and out of there in like 2 minutes. Epic. read more

Chick-Fil-A just opened a new location as of this morning - in Haymarket, VA! I've never been to a Chick-Fil-A opening before - but clearly they know what they are doing. The staff were fairly well trained, and the food came up hot and quickly. Lots of seating inside, and there is a sizable outdoor patio area so one can eat outside. There is also a play area for the children. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit meal and a chicken biscuit. Both biscuit sandwiches were hot an tasty. The hash browns were hot and crisp. Service was excellent! Of course they also have a Drive Thru, free WiFi, and there is a Poke Stop nearby! read more

My local Chick-fil-a and it's great. I usually do a mobile order and drive thru with the kiddos so they are always efficient, correct, and friendly. Of course it can get busy during peak times and kids can be everywhere inside but that has nothing to do with their service. It's right off the highway so I'm sure that has something to do with it. No complaints here! Our usual order is some kind of kids meal, nuggets, classic sandwich, market salad, fries, fruit, and every once in a while breakfast. I've been holding out to review the Haymarket Chick-fil-A and it has nothing to do with the quality of food at all. We've been here a total of 9 times in the last 6 months and they have about a 60% chance of never getting the order right. We've done both dine-in and drive thru and have had to either turn around or go back to the line to say either 'I didnt order this' or 'this is missing'. I've also used the Chick-fil-A app a couple of times and often wonder if the app is screwing the order up as well. So while I believe that the food is no different than other chik-fil-a's, I think the service here is really what's to be discussed. I'm all about hiring the young leaders, giving them something to aspire towards. But sometimes there is too much playing, talking and a lack of attention to detail. Most people just want good service, the kind that this brand is known for. I've had my orders messed up several times but I was able to catch it prior to me leaving the restaurant. Like any Chick-fil-A franchise, so long as you get past the politics of the corporation, it really is very good for fast food. This location is no exception, and its convenient location just off of I-66 makes it convenient. The place is sizable and still new-feeling, with plenty of parking. The service is fast and friendly, as well. Stick with the tried and true favorites here - either the chicken sandwiches or chicken nuggets, and you will be happy. On the downside, the bathrooms certainly could have been cleaner. read more
