I love this place but my child is only 11 year old and they didn't let her play because she I too tall and too big and it was just her and her friend and her friends siste an brother and the worker said a little kid got hurt earlier when I saw it and the little said got pushedby a whole differnt kid. I'm her kid and I love chick fa LA and i never get to go in the play place and they kicked me out when I was just playing with my younger siblings and they kicked me out there wasn't any other kids in there I love this place but this made m upset. read more

Twice , in the last month, I tried ordering salads and they claimed to vibe " out of lettuce". Otherwise service was polite and prompt. Owner/manager needs to do a better job on the back of house. read more

We were traveling and stopped at this Chick-fil-a. The line was pretty long so i went inside. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. We waited less than 5 minutes for our food. Which wasn't to bad. The mac n cheese was delicious!! The chicken tenders were slightly under done, but once we got on the road there was no way we were turning around... So i didn't eat them. Other than that everything was ok. 4 stars because customer service was good!! read more

Ordered a grilled chicken with a gluten free bun. Took one bite of the chicken and it wasn't cooked all the way through. Gluten free bun isn't warmed either. Showed the manager on duty the undercooked chicken. He asked if I would like a replacement. No thanks; I had lost my appetite by that point. read more

I love going to Chick fila. The employees are always super friendly. This location has been opened almost 10 years now. Located on Route 17 at Main st in Gloucester, VA. Directly across from Walmart and TJMaxx. They recently remodeled the parking lot where waiting customers are not on the main street waiting in line to enter business. It doesn't matter if you wait 5 or more minutes your food is ALWAYS hot and fresh. Chick fila employees takes pride in their products AND their customers satisfaction. AND national fast food places have extremely long lines and when you get your food it is either not right and/ or lukewarm or cold. Chick fila is definitely worth the wait. Stellar experience! All Chick-fil-As are pretty good but this one was outstanding. It was a super busy Saturday and our food was ready right about when we sat down. The waffle fries were hot for a long while. The manager helped serve us and was so friendly and kind. My favorite part: all the tables indoors had jars with fresh cut flowers! This is hands down the best Chick-fil-A I've ever been to. Almost immediately after I paid, the tray with my food was being handed to me! The customer service is amazing without being overbearing, the speed of delivery is efficient and the food isn't soggy (we all hate those soggy fries) or overcooked. Their bathrooms are clean and well managed. I was super hungry when I came inside. I ordered a 12 count chicken nugget meal with a medium fry and iced water. The nuggets were well sized. I often run into a problem where the nuggets the ratio of breading to chicken is disappointing. Not here! I work in another city in relation to the one I currently live in (Gloucester) and whenever I can I try to visit this specific location I do. Mr. Gordon is the best and so obviously treats his employees well. I 100% recommend this Chick-fil-A. read more

I visit this store frequently. Today I come on my 30 minute lunch break, ordered a Cobb salad and large sweet tea with a young lady taking orders on a hand held device. She scanned my app AND SWIPED MY CARD..and then get to the window to get my food and they didn't not have my order but my app has been assigned to someone else's order. I've have bee sitting in the VIP area for about five minutes with no food yet. read more

Love chick-fil-a. However, today we ordered two sandwiches and drinks using the app. When we arrived we signaled our arrival as required by the app and waited. Finally my wife went inside and after more wait I went inside also. i spoke to Nick the manager who apologized and stated that they didn't get our order from the app. Then we waited some more. when I pressed our concern with Nick he clearly did not respond, in my opinion, satisfactorily to the issue as the resolution was too slow and his apology seemed insincere. Went through the drive through at 10:29am. Wanted to order lunch food. Was denied because they only serve lunch at 10:30am. So they literally told us to pull through and get back in the drive through line again and then we would be able to order. That's seems more than ridiculous to me. read more

There has been so much momentum and excitement for the opening of Chick-fil-A here. Every time I passed this restaurant from the highway it has always been completely packed since opening! But I decided to go for a visit yesterday. Curb appeal is very attractive but near a busy intersection. You can only make a right turn into the parking lot. Be watchful of the drive thru traffic because sometimes it blocks in some parked cars near the doors. Inside is very clean and organized. All registers were open during peak times. The staff are friendly and my friend and I did not wait too long for our orders even though it was pretty busy. The service was nice and we enjoyed our lunch. Orders are placed by first name which I think is a good thing in order for the company to get to know the customers better. The Cow was walking around giving high fives to customers which was a surprise. I think it was for the children's party being held at the next table. We returned again for ice cream that evening. However, they had ran out of coffee to my friends dismay! They tried to make up for it by upgrading her drink to a larger size and offering free topping for her ice cream. I ordered the brownie a la mode...the ice cream was good, they could have at least heated up the brownie. I heard that Chick-fil-A had good ice cream but that was a disappointment. But - I won't make a final opinion about the ice cream until I try the milkshake. But overall we did enjoy our first time eating in at this location. We will return again...before the coffee runs out! read more

Even with a line of cars twice around the block and hot sun overhead they managed to get us through quickly and with a smile! Been to this location about ten-fifteen times. Chick fil a has always been my favorite fast food restaurant. But this one is above and beyond the rest. Yes the food is great. Yes the restaurant is immaculate. But it's the staff.....i don't know how they find such cheerful, happy and efficient staff. Senior staff always seems to be there making sure the customer is taken care of. I wish all restaurant staff everywhere were like this chick fil a's are. read more
