Two lane drive thru, choose your lane carefully. Both times I have been here I sit in line while 7 or 8 cars go by in the other line who came well after I did. The people taking orders need to take note of this and adjust, like maybe both go to one side. The food? Average and overpriced. The sandwich is no better than Popeyes, KFC, or even Raisin Canes. This restaurant had prompt service, which was nice and the food was as good as Chick-fil-A always is. The strange thing is that they decided to clean the women's bathroom at 6:40 in the evening, shutting it down for almost 20 minutes in the middle of the dinner rush. When it finally opened and multiple women were able to go in, the floor was completely mopped and wet. We ended up walking all over it, messing up her mop job (unavoidable). By popular request we had to stop for a quick take out order. I enjoyed the chicken deluxe sandwich with extra lettuce. We also ordered the 30 piece chicken nuggets to share. We made it a meal with a drink and waffle fries. The store was busy with many repping 49ers gear. Emely took our order and it was ready pretty FAST. First time here at this Chick-fill-A Drive through was full in both lanes. It recently opened for the people inGilroy and those passing through looking for a bit to eat. Employees are always welcome and helpful when you come to the line and order your food. Orders the 12 piece chicken meal that comes with waffle fries and a Coke. Gotta Hand it to this location, the food here was on point! Service was "ok", not as friendly as other locations, they did say "my pleasure" but the lack of smiles or joy definitely shown on a lot of the faces we saw in the drive thru. Ambiance outside looks nice but the parking could be better and they could have more shade. I got the Spicy Chicken sandwich combo with waffle fries, large 1/2 diet 1/2 regular lemonade and a medium Mac and cheese. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious! Chicken was crispy, juicy and tender. Fries were hot and seasoned perfectly. Mac and cheese was cheesy, nice little crispy cheese part at the top and super warm. Lemonade was not too sweet, but just the right amount. Perfect Meal. Jess got the 8 piece nuggets, Waffle Fries and some Mac and Cheese. She got a chocolate shake to wash it all down and that too was super good! Not overly sweet, just the right amount. Nuggets were juicy and crispy, fries were also seasoned perfectly and nice and hot! Thankful for this location! We were going to stop somewhere else but unfortunately that establishment has since permanently closed. Went through the drive through. It was 15 cars long and two lanes. But I couldn't back out . To my surprise it was well organized accurate and fast. Got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and it was very good. Moist and juicy and hot. The taste was terrific and the sandwich was large. I'll be back good experience. read more

This is the biggest and nicest chick-fil-a I've ever been to, I think! We drive down to the coast a lot and usually stop at In-N-Out or Starbucks, but decided to change things up and do chick-fil-a instead! I'm glad we did because it was awesome. I will say, it took a while for the food to come out, but it was 10am on a Saturday and the drive thru line was pretty long. Service was friendly, and when the food did come out, it was great. The bathrooms are also super clean and really big, and the water to wash your hands is nice and warm, a nice surprise! I recommend this spot for a rest/lunch area, if you're doing a long drive and happen to pass through. read more

Very bad service at this Chick-fil-A in Gilroy. This is the second or third time I come here and it is always the same problem. They always give priority to the drive-thru and ignore walk-in customers and delivery drivers. Every time I place an order for delivery, the Dasher ends up waiting more than 20 minutes, and many times the order gets unassigned because no one helps or gives them the food. The staff seems inexperienced and they do not seem to care whether the order gets picked up or not. The floor was also dirty. Very poor customer service and very poor organization. read more

I've dine in at this location like 4-5 times already but it will be the last because all those time the workers forget half of the items I ordered and the fries and chicken sandwich are cold and don't even taste fresh. I ordered a salad only and good thing i checked my bag before leaving the drive through because the dry condiment toppings werent in there and i didnt even have utensils or napkins. Not sure how i was going to eat my salad in my car without that. I would say the 2.6 star rating is a little high. The last 3 times we have placed a mobile order twice they have forgotten something from our order. Wouldn't be a big deal if we live down the street but we don't which is the reason I didn't do anything the first time cause I didn't want to waste my time, but this time was enough. Got home and saw they forgot a chicken sandwich. Went back to the store to let them know and it seemed the manager on duty could really care less. He just gave the whole ordinary I apologize we should do better speech seemingly to try and be done with me as quick as possible not wanting to listen to me. He ended up refunding me the sandwich but my time is worth a lot more than the $7 refund. The definition of mediocre. I have no idea why this place has such a huge following. The food is average. The price is astronomical! The price is almost the same at a sit down restaurant. The service is terrific! Most of the time my order is wrong but they always make it right. That's every Chick-fil-A though. Genuinely one of our favorite experiences at this chain! It was my daughter's fifth birthday and they made a huge fuss over it! They showered her with love and attention and she left feeling so happy! The men and women who work there are top notch! Huge shout out to Johanna and Brandon who did everything with a smile (including Johanna buying my daughter ice cream for her special day). The food was as yummy as every chik-fil-a we've been too and my kids ate every bite! It was clean and well maintained and the bathrooms were massive! Not sure the experience everyone else was talking about on these Yelp reviews but don't be afraid...it was the quality one expects with the service one comes to appreciate. No play place if parents are asking. Found out why: during COVID they started phasing them out as they were designing. Went tonight and drove through with my wife and daughter who are BIG Chick-fil-a fans. We parked to eat and noticed we did not get our regular or grilled nuggets we had ordered. I grabbed the receipt, made sure the nuggets were on there (they were) and walked up to the drive through and spoke to Brandon. Not only was he super helpful telling me he would get them right away, he asked where my car was. I told him I could wait, and he replied "it's cold out, go to your car and I will bring them to you" and he did just that within a few minutes. Lazy employees. There are WAY too many employees on staff and they prefer to stand right in front of the customer, blowing kisses to each other, talking about how they are worried about getting abruptly fired like "Carlos" and arguing about who is supposed to be working on "desserts" instead of just doing the job. They made us wait five minutes for our daughter's shake because the employee inside the window kept arguing that it wasn't her job. When she finally decided to do it she made it and then walked away, leaving it sitting where the guys outside the window couldn't hand it to us. So poorly managed it's embarrassing. read more

But arrive, and you can see your order on the counter, waiting to be delivered to you, and the twitts inside are too busy giggling and goofing off to pay attention and deliver the food to you as they claim they to do. This was my second time at this location, food came out fast hot and fresh both times! Today gaby was an all star with her friendly and professional service, even after being yelled at by a super karen, she held her composure so well and served me with a smile and a happy demeanor! The dining room area was clean and had fresh flowers at every table, just like the first time which was beautiful and pleasant! The super karen attacked poor gaby again on her way out and gaby still stayed pleasant and professional, hope her manager nows how great of an employee she is! Worst Chick-fil-a experience, they rushed to take my order and then told me to just go to the window, they got my order wrong and when I corrected them they looked annoyed and yet they still messed it up again, so I told them again and they looked even more irritated.
