Chick-fil-A - Lunch on the run - Fast Food Near Me - Frederick, Maryland

Why is this the only chick fil a in Frederick. This place is always slammed pack. The drive thru was built backwards because you have to turn right to exit the drive thru but when people are entering the drive thru they block the dang exit. You can't park near the door of the entrance because the line is always wrapped across the parking spots. The food and service is okay but they need to move the people from the drive thru window. It is a drive thru and I don't know why they have a person standing outside the window, passing the food to the car. Okay.... that's stupid!! Come on chick fila!! Fix that!! read more

I've been coming to this location for the past two years. Not once have I had an order to go or in the drive thru that wasn't wrong. I seriously don't know what the problem is, but wish they would get their act together. Forget to put fries in. Ordered and paid for a large fry, get home to only find a medium. Forget to put the chicken part in my order for a grilled chicken sandwich with a gluten free bun. Forget the drink that comes with the kids meal. No music playing when you enter the restaurant, tables were dirty, and the girls who took our order and delivered our food had tons of attitude. Do these people hire Saints? I went here today and was not disappointed. It was really busy, but my food arrived before the girl at the cash register finished filling my soda! It was loud and I had a hard time understanding the cashier, but I had no problems or mix-ups with my order! And as I was leaving, one of the employees taking the orders of drive-thru patrons went to ask someone if they were having car troubles and needed help. He put their needs ahead of paying customers. We went to this location when we moved to Frederick four years ago, but stopped because the traffic pattern around the building was ridiculous and even dangerous. Received a coupon in the mail for a free chicken sandwich. My wife and I thought that this would be applied to our total order but no, it was actually for an additional chicken sandwich! We were charged the full amount for our meal and took home the extra chicken sandwich. The dog was happy about that. The sandwiches--all three of them--were piping hot when brought to our table. That's good. The waffle fries, however, were lukewarm, not crisp, and undercooked. Some sides, such as coleslaw, would have been appreciated. But there weren't any listed on the menu. Superb professionalism, unprecedented attentive service, is what I expect when I come to chick-fil- A. However, per my last visit, such was not the case. Not only was my order rushed, and uncared for, for lack of better words, I found my meal to be incorrect, for I requested all large very clearly, and received all mediums, almost out of spite. I received poor manners, and a lack of concern towards my family and myself. We are friendly people and did not express our expectations or feelings in person but will not hesitate to do so for our review. I expect fantastic customer service, as do most, from this wonderful establishment and received subpar service at best, and an incorrect order. With their dining room out of commission and a new one currently being built they could have just closed down but instead decided to show how well they could just drive thru up a notch. I have eaten here many times and have seen it go down the drain. I have seen the owner Bree yell at his employees that are underage and I have seen him brush of customers as if they weren't there at all. One time I was eating breakfast and one lady waiting for her food for 20 min. Yes I do understand that it was very busy, but to forget someone's food and then for the operator to begin to tell the customer that she is wrong and trying to steal is even more wrong. I talked to the lady later and she told me she called in 2 hours later and asked to speak to the operator/owner (I will use both). Definitely get it with their Polynesian Sauce. SO FRIGGIN' GOOD!! I used to get a salad and top it with these bad boys and add ranch. GLORIOUS! Original Chicken Sandwich - This sandwich is simple and great! You just have to be aware that it is literally a breaded chicken cutlet with two pickles on a bun. Nothing else. It tastes divine Spicy Chicken Sandwich Deluxe - Very good and flavorful with the spicy breaded chicken cutlet and cheese Chick-n-Strips Salad - Man, so good. And they give you enough chicken to have a piece of protein in every bite! French Fries - These french fries are delicious. Not too oily and the perfect amount of salt every time! Ice Dream - This is literally the best soft serve EVER. Very similar to UVA's icemilk. SO GOOD!!! I came to this particular store twice in 24 hours because I miss this food so much and I'm that obsessed. This branch was super busy both times that I went but they managed it well.
