I soooo wanted to give a better rating to a smaller, locally owned business, but my conscience will not allow it. My husband and I came in this past Friday for lunch, and the beginning of our visit was pleasant- we ordered 10 wings, and the waitress offered to let us get 5 of one flavor and 5 of another. We ordered them extra crispy, and got half Sweet Thai Chili, half Spicy Ranch dry rub- both excellent! Perfect crunch and flavor on the wings- would definitely order again. Then we ordered a couple of other items to share, and neither were anything to write home about, unfortunately- the nachos I would absolutely skip next time. They came with the cheap round tortilla chips and goopy, thick cheese sauce you get when you order nachos at the movie theater. You could tell they were trying to be creative with the toppings, which I appreciate, but there wasn't much flavor at all. The other item we ordered was the Billion Dollar Burger. I will say again that I definitely appreciate the thought that went into creating this menu- you could tell the owners are trying to be inventive and bring new flavors to a town in which those might not normally be available. However, the execution was lacking....the mushroom sauce did not have a lot of flavor, and instead of "microgreens" like the menu stated, the burger came with salad greens on top (nothing wrong with that; it was just unexpected). I am sure if we ordered another burger we would have liked it better, because the waitress assured us the beef is never frozen, and the patties looked to be a good size and have a nice crust to them. In terms of ambiance, it is more of a hole-in-the-wall find. There was only one other table with people when we arrived, and the two employees were chatting in the kitchen, which you could hear clearly because it is a smaller space. Despite it not being visibly busy, the other tables seemed still to have crumbs on them, and my husband and I had to wipe off our own table before sitting down. Again, I hope this does not come off as being rude or prissy- I wanted to like this place so badly and would be open to trying it again in the future. I love a good dive spot for burgers! However, in JAG's case, I think a little more seasoning in the food and running a tighter ship in terms of cleanliness and service could go a long way.

Yelping with a toddler means the phone does not eat first!!…read more We ordered a dog with chili and relish and a dog with mild chili, mustard and onions. A unique touch here is getting your chili mild, medium or hot. Buns were toasted and perfectly moist inside! A great WV dog! And a neighborhood staple. And like many reviews mention, the fries were hot! We stopped in during a midweek lunch rush and service was quick. The fish tank inside entertained my 2 year old and we were lucky enough to snag a table next to it. They are conveniently right off 79 making it an easy spot to hit while traveling. We will definitely return!!

They have different options from hotdog to pepperoni rolls to corndogs with french fries so there are plenty of options if you're not too hot specifically. I ordered a pepperoni roll with sauce and cheese and a hotdog with sauce, onions, ketchup, and mustard. I did get the spicier sauce. It took about 10 to 15 minutes for it to come out. Overall, I thought it was really good. The pepperoni roll is a good size. Honestly, I could've just had the pepperoni roll on its own and I would've been full. The hotdog had plenty of sauce and toppings. I didn't think the sauce was spicy, but I do have a high spice tolerance. There are a few places in Fairmont to get hotdog and pepperoni rolls, but I think it's worth stopping here
