A unique touch here is getting your chili mild, medium or hot. Buns were toasted and perfectly moist inside! A great WV dog! And a neighborhood staple. And like many reviews mention, the fries were hot! We stopped in during a midweek lunch rush and service was quick. The fish tank inside entertained my 2 year old and we were lucky enough to snag a table next to it. They are conveniently right off 79 making it an easy spot to hit while traveling. The restaurant is very old-school inside. There's a decent amount of seats. I actually took mine to go, but honestly, I could've eaten there. They have different options from hotdog to pepperoni rolls to corndogs with french fries so there are plenty of options if you're not too hot specifically. I ordered a pepperoni roll with sauce and cheese and a hotdog with sauce, onions, ketchup, and mustard. I did get the spicier sauce. It took about 10 to 15 minutes for it to come out. Overall, I thought it was really good. The pepperoni roll is a good size. Honestly, I could've just had the pepperoni roll on its own and I would've been full. The hotdog had plenty of sauce and toppings. I didn't think the sauce was spicy, but I do have a high spice tolerance. There are a few places in Fairmont to get hotdog and pepperoni rolls, but I think it's worth stopping here read more

Looking at a retail location in the plaza and my buds decided we were trying this to see why Fairmont has 5 hot dog places. Definitely a down-home spot, nothing fancy, just dogs and sauce and old school decor with wood paneling, old school tables and chairs and the menu on the wall in the Pepsi sign custom lettering. Apparently they take pepperoni rolls and cut them like a hotdog bun and put sauce inside - but I went with a traditional meal of 3 with everything and a Diet Pepsi. The hot dogs were the usual coney isle and style fare - but my buns were kind of odd or stale I can't really put my finger on it. Fries were good and all the Fairmont apparel on the wall makes it obvious this is a hometown must go to place. Woman who took our order was really nice knowing we were from out of the area and actually came and checked on us after serving us to see what we thought. read more

Went in to order a couple of hotdogs with coleslaw. I had a coupon from a local coupon book that had the Whitehall location listed. I ordered and was told they did not accept that coupon because it was not authorized by the owner. I was told I was the 3rd person to bring one in today. You would think they would honor it just for good business. I ended up just ordering one hotdog with coleslaw, got home and it was missing the slaw. I have never been to the one in fairview but the one in Farmington words can't explain how much I love this place I go here alot so as soon as I walk in I get asked if I'm getting a pepperoni roll wow the pepperoni rolls with sauce and cheese is amazing and there grilled chicken sandwich Is so good those are my 2 go tos everyone is so nice it's so clean and u can even buy there sauce for your own hot dogs it's the best this whole place is the best has to be my favorite by far. read more

Thanks to my fellow Yelpers for sharing this little gem. Now this is not a 5-Star luxury restarting. However this IS a 5-Star place of hot dogs! Great selection of choices for dressing your basic wiener. Fantastic prices and most excellent service. I highly recommend the "fresh fries" - fresh hand-cut potatoes deep fried as you order. I'm not a fan of "fast food", but this is good food fast!!! Great little place just off the interstate. Made an awesome stop for a quick bite. I read a review that said the ambiance wasn't that great, but it's actually quite charming. Several TVs and sports memorabilia. Yelp needs to fix their site. Yelp says they're open till 8:00 but they close at 6:00. Went based on Yelp at 6:30 and was very disappointed.

I love the fact that they have a lot of different options on their menu! Every time I have been there, there has always been a line out the door. The employees are very attentive and if they see the line is really long they will start taking orders behind the person at the cash register. Their sweet tea is probably the best in town and so isn't their food. If you want a good hot dog I would always recommend this place! read more

Good hot dogs, one of my favorite places when I come back to WV. Atmosphere so-so, several TVs usually with sports on. Also serves a small selection of sandwiches, etc. Cheap beer on tap, but no "bar". Three types of sauce. Note: the location is not shown accurately on Yelp map. It's actually in the small shopping plaza across from the Middletown Mall, on Rt 73. It's immediately on the left after you turn down 73 from 250 in front of the mall, sort of in a "hole", next to a big warehouse that's now a gym. Let me first say that me and family love the hot dogs and the wings. My only problem with the restaurant is the price of the wings: 12 for $7.29 and 6 for $3.59. Do the math and you will see that 12 wings are 11 cents more expensive that 2 of the 6 orders. Maybe 11 cents is not a lot of money but it is the principle. I brought this to the cashiers attention and she said "Well there is tax." at which I responded with "still the same problem". I ordered 2 orders of 6 and she charged me for an order of 12. Usually restaurants will give you a little cut if you order more, but not on the wings, they charge you more. But all in all the value is good and the price of the Hotdogs are excellent, especially if ordered after 5pm when you get them for $9.99 a dozen. read more
