Cute, non-descript location in a strip mall. Felt like a family run business. Ordered a deep fried dawg and it was delicious. Still moist! Note the medium heat chili made be show a few sweat beads. I love this restaurant when it comes to food. The hotdogs are always perfect. The service is usually fast probably 5 to 10 minutes. And it's pretty average decoration in there. There's some football jerseys TVs and many tables. If you were to get anything, I would recommend hotdog and fries. That is the best thing I've had from there. There is a fridge with chocolate milk, water, and sodas for you to get to drink. The only bad thing is that you go home smelling like fried food. Came here after being underwhelmed at one of the other hot dog shops nearby. Unfortunately, it was more of the same. In fact, I think this hot dog was even more underwhelming. The hot dog was just weak. The Weiner itself was equivalent of a Sheetz dog and that is not a compliment. The Chili too was unremarkable. The savior here was the French Fries. They have fresh cut fries and mine were served piping hot and perfectly executed! If they put some effort into the hot dogs like they do the fries they would have something. As it is it was a Ghost Town with me as the only customer for the entire time I was there and I see why. :( read more

Service was helpful and friendly. Hot dogs come with a choice of 3 heat chili options, Mild, Medium, or hot. The wife and I both stuck with hot, which lived up to the heat profile. We both thought the Chili was excellent, but the bun itself was lacking something. I had the Tally dog fried, which is a fried weenie, with options of Chili, Cheese, and sweet or hot peppers. Again, chili was great, and I enjoyed the contrast with the sweet peppers, but the bun needs improvement. The wife wanted to try their version of a pepperoni roll, and we were surprised with a massive roll, stuffed with thick-cut pepperoni sticks. I added hot sauce and cheese, which put this roll over the top. Our sides included sweet potato fries and onion rings. Both were frozen and very skimpy on portions. I've eaten here twice and enjoyed both visits. It's always clean, service is good, and the food is tasty.

They have really good hot dogs here. Their spicy sauce is flaming hot! Only thing that would have made this better is a toasted bun. Staff were friendly and lets us try the sauces before we chose one. The slaw was really good. read more

I walk into Wright Dawgs at 10:45 AM and the gen z attendant looked at me sideways about if I needed help. Need help? I just wanted to order hotdogs. The door was unlocked so I thought they were open. The gen z'er in their hoodie informed me that they weren't really open yet. What does that even mean? So, I just started laughing and shaking my head as I turned and walked out. To the attendant that was too busy to be bothered because they were on their phone; let me let you in on a little secret that 99% of the successful businesses understand: NEVER LET A SALE WALK OUT THE DOOR!!! I jumped in my car, drove to Yann's and ordered two dozen dogs. Wright Dawgs lost a two dozen order sale over 15 minutes and Wright Dawgs lost this customer for life! read more

Had to redo my review from a couple years ago. This place is definitely great and a must try if you enjoy hot dogs

Went here today looking for a great dog... And was sadly disappointed. These hotdogs lacked the *snap* I always look for when I bite down on a great dog, this being said the hotdogs were kind of soggy and mushy (like the ones you get from Wal-Mart and then boil). The toppings were not extremely impressive either. I got mine with slaw which was literally just chopped cabbage with no type of sauce. My fiance got one with mustard which he said tasted generic and another one with the hot chili (sauce) which tasted like it came from a can. The dogs were also kind of small, with at least an once of excess bun on either side of the dog. The atmosphere wasn't too inviting, the man at the front register was not as friendly as one would like, there were other employees just wandering around (I don't even think THEY knew what they were doing), and while we were eating one of these employees decided to get on a ladder and remove a ceiling tile one table away from us causing dust to fly everywhere. Appetizing. I can say I will be continuing my search for a great hotdog place around Fairmont. read more

I've had several items off the menu. The food is consistent and well prepared. There is ample room in the dining area and I've never seen it filled up. The fries are a little greasy but that's the worst I can say about it. This is a great hot dog joint. read more

Wright Dawgs has always had a number of things "going for it". The hot dogs are as good as Woody's, except that unlike Woody's, Wright Dawgs has a lot of seating available, lots of menu items other than hot dogs (fries!), and they accept credit cards. They offer deep fried dogs, low fat dogs, chicken wings, and some other items (beef items, pepperoni rolls, chicken nuggets). The store is always relatively busy, and has a nice home-town decor. read more
