I usually drive through but want to get July Yelps going so I dined in and what a pleasant experience. The drive through is good too but on this hot day the AC is a nice treat as was the kind reception and ordering service Ady provided. Good hire! I'm not special, the team was nice to everyone. I order a spicy deluxe. I didn't have lunch today so this Sammy was extra good. Fresh, spicy and so tasty... as usual. The waffle fries are the best! The baby kale salad is always a solid pick. It's fresh and light with a light vinaigrette... dare I guess pear? Lots of young families and grand mom and dad with grand kids... but with this there was an outburst but it didn't last long ... the music is classic rock and mellow. My wife and I swung by Chick-fil-A for a quick bite last night before going to the movies. We found the place to be really busy...and then ended up getting our order taken by a new Trainee where everything slowed down. My wife ordered the 3-piece chicken strips and a "Peach Frost Lemonade", while I had the grilled chick club with their waffle fries and a diet DP. The order came out quickly and came to a total of $27.26. Ouch. Waaaaaay too much money for chicken strips and a chicken sandwich, fries, and drinks. My wife said her chicken strips were OK, but her "lemonade" looked like a shake. It wasn't but for her it was very different. The chunks of peach were good but ended up having to be scooped out as they were too large for the straw. LOL! My grilled chicken club sandwich (with bacon) was average...but dang it if it isn't the seasoning that Chick-fil-A puts on their chicken that just turns me off. It's ever-present...even on their breaded sandwiches. There is something in that seasoning that gives the meat a sour flavor...and (at least for me) does not enhance the flavor of the chicken. Last time we patronized the Chick-fil-A there on 10090 S State Street (15+ years ago?), there was that same seasoning. Bleh. Three stars for a quick meal before a movie. But that's about it. After a busy evening, we decided to stop here on the way home, about 9:30pm. The girl helping us order was really nice. The food was pretty bad. Usually chick fil a delivers food wise, but man, the chicken sandwich I got was so dry, the tomatoes were soggy, and the cheese not even melted. It was truly a forgettable sandwich. I rarely write negative reviews but I was truly disappointed by Chicfilas lack of customer service. We ordered through the Chic fila app a delivery order and there were no straws and it was missing the main entry items to the meal. Who wants to pay for a deliver order and then be missing the main items? They said I had to go through the door dash customer service even though I ordered on their app. They also said that door dash had to check for all the items. Ummm how can they do that when the bag is sealed? They are the ones who didn't put all the items we bought in the bag and they really didn't seem to care. Super long drive thru line on Saturday at 3 but the employees moved it very quickly. My order-taker was really nice. He was baffled that I'd want a 12 piece grilled nugget with a small fry and no drink... he said he was "very confused, ma'am" . And he tolerated my questions about the chick-fil-a sauce shortage well. He reassured me that their location had not been impacted yet and I could have up to three sauces per entree. The food was up to the standard I expect from chick-fil-a. I enjoyed it. They're still doing contactless everything, including putting your food in a giant plastic bin and having you pull it out. This was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. We sat down to eat and a few minutes later a child projectile vomits everywhere. At first it wasn't that bad because it happens, kids get sick. The awful part was that the employees in the back were fighting over who had to clean it for 10 minutes. The vomit was just sitting on the floor in the middle of the place for over 10 minutes while they were figuring out who had to come clean it. Other children and people were trying to avoid it. I legit cannot get over this Chick Fil A. All Chick Fil A locations hold a very special place in my heart, but this one specifically has me swooning. Let me elaborate: First off, this is in such a convenient location. Right off the 12300 S exit on I-15 in Draper. Whether you're traveling alone or with a car full of peeps, this is a great place to stop for lunch. Besides Chick Fil A, there are plenty of other restaurants to choose from, simply hop, skip, or a jump away (and by "plenty" I mean it, there is a PLETHORA). Secondly, these chaps are efficient af. I mean it. They have two drive thru lines, multiple employees braving the extreme temperature (SCALDING HOT OR BITTER COLD welcome to Utah), and provide fresh food that will leave you satisfied. If you want to be even more efficient in the drive-thru line, like myself, here are some nuggets of wisdom for you. Follow these steps and you will look like a pro. 1. Have your app open and ready to scan, turn that brightness up so their iPads can recognize your QR code. If you don't have the app, just download it already, come on, this is 2020. 2. Listen up for what car to follow. Because there are two drive thru lines, the employees make it a priority to decrease the risk of automobile accidents caused by hangry Americans rushing to get their chicken nuggs. The first person takes your order, scans your app, tells you to "follow behind that white car", and once you do that, there is another employee patiently waiting to take your money. 3. Once the two lines have become one and your money has been taken, roll on up to the window and be prepared to snag your sack full of food. Don't spend time searching through your bag to "make sure they got everything" because that's a disgrace to Chick Fil A employees everywhere. Trust me, they've got it. And last, the food itself is scrumptious in every way imaginable. The chicken nuggets are yummy, try dipping them in Polynesian sauce or Chick Fil A sauce--or better yet, mix the two. Their waffle fries are yummy, the cookies are my favorite, the breakfast burrito is HEAVEN, and their wrap is great too, complete with an avocado dressing. All in all, wonderful wonderful experiences every time I go. Hot meals, good portion sizes, cost effective, and so many different flavors and sauces to choose from. By the end of your meal, it'll be you who's saying "no, my pleasure". TIPS & TRICKS: * If you live in Utah, be sure to simply open up your Chick Fil A app every so often. The odds of you being granted free food "just because" or "Jazz unlocked nuggets!" I've been here in quite a few occasions. It is nearby my work and they handle the lunchtime crowd like champs. I strongly considered the star rating because it's a fast food place, but seriously, what can this place improve? I can't think of a single thing. They are polite, the workers don't look like they hate their job, they work efficiently and quickly. Free refills on the drinks. The new points system on the app is nice to be rewarded for indulging in the mealtime I'm craving anyway. Don't even get me started in the ice cream. I love it!! It's so thick and the taste is addicting. It only comes in vanilla, but no worries, the ice cream can hold its own. Plenty of ice cream for a decent price. I don't know what is going on with this location..I have lived around here for over a year now and go here often. Every single time I make an order in the drive-through they always get something wrong. I order the same thing every time: an eight count nugget meal, with a large diet Dr Pepper, and sometimes a chocolate shake. But no matter what, without a doubt, one of those if not more items are incorrect. I've never experienced this with any other Chick-fil-A, any other location. It's just getting frustrating to the point where I will drive further to a different location rather than risk getting my meal wrong over and over again. Usually Chick-fil-A is very convenient and accurate, but having to go back around and get my items corrected inside every time I go through the drive-through is very inconvenient. Just ranting because I hope someone important will see this. We just had an awful experience at this restaurant due to some very poor service from the employees. Unfortunately, when we went tonight a kid projectile vomited in the play area and main eating area. Obviously employees can't control that. What they can control is their response. Instead of sending someone out to immediately clean up the mess and shut down the play area they all sat in the back and argued about who would clean it up. Kids were playing in/around vomit until parents realized what was going on. And the rest of us were trying to avoid the mess. It took over 10 minutes before anyone acted, but by then the smell and scene had ruined the meal and the experience. Chick-fil-A, COVID edition!!! During the pandemic, my appetite for the chicken of fil-A was not going away. There are places that you can trust to prepare and serve food that safe. Also, know that everyone was moving to the curbside options, this is the wheel-house for Chick-fil-A. My go-to order is a #1, large-sized, Coca Cola, and I politely will ask for a few packets of ketchup for the fries and one Polynesian sauce and one Chick-fil-A sauce for my sandwich. It's been on my extremely short list of places I feel comfortable going to these last few months but I've been impressed with each adjustment they've made to serve the food fast and safe. Avoid this location! It's the only location anywhere near where I live which is still about a 20 minute drive. Every single time I visit there's ALWAYS something missing from my order. Because that location is always so crowded and they push you past the drive thru, it's hard to pull over and check my bags. I've called several times to let them know items are missing and they claim I'll receive coupons for their errors yet I've never seen one.
