We did not enjoy our experience at all. We ordered a breakfast burrito and a ham and cheese croissant. Nothing else. It was over $20 for very bland and tasteless food. Fun little place! Got a hot chocolate and a frozen chai even though it was still very much winter. Both were really lovely. Good thing to know is there is no indoor seating, and frankly, not much outdoor seating. It's a great place to grab a beverage and chill in the park, but if you're looking for something to save you from the weather, this isn't the place. This little coffee shop has a new name-Bubble N Bean-and is the epitome of a mom and pop shop. They only do drive thru or walk-up window orders, and there's a lovely outdoor patio you can sit at when the weather is nice. Or you can also walk to the neighboring park. The nice man who served us this morning was so kind-he offered free samples of some goodies and was very thorough in our order, making sure that everything was to our liking. The coffee was fantastic. On the walk up window, there was a cute sign that someone put a lot of love into to create a seasonal menu. I was so enthralled that I didn't get a close up picture, but it was fabulous! There's a good sized parking lot for those folks who do stay to enjoy their drinks outside. I stop here when I run out of time in the morning to make my own coffee, or when I pass by on a walk with a friend. The staff here is always super friendly, it's a family owned business and they are locals so I feel good that I'm supporting their business. They sell specialty coffees, bobas, sandwiches, pastries and the Dole whip (a kind of pineapple float) is great on a hot summer day. I love coming here. They are drive through or you can walk up to the window and order. I love the shady arbor over the walk up window. There's no indoor seating but you can sit at the tables out front or you can always walk around the park and find a spot to sit and watch the birds and butterflies. I've never had a bad experience here, the owners are the nicest people and the staff are very friendly and helpful as well. read more

A quaint cottage-like walk-in/ drive-thru by a local park. As a Boba fanatic, I had to choose their "Okinawa Boba" milk tea; which wasn't too sweet, just the way I like it. They didn't skimp out on the tapioca pearls like some other places. These were the large ones you'll find in Asia. The owners recommended their Ham & Swiss Croissant. Those aren't usually my favourite, but the artisans at Bubbles N' Bean (Food for Thought) have crafted something that left me craving for another when the last bite was gone. I have short lunch breaks weekdays and Bubble and Bean (Food for thought) is right where I need it to be. I always get a lemonade and I try to find something they make I haven't ordered yet, and even though it's not the biggest selection, they seem to have found a perfect balance between quality and quantity. Everything I've had is incredibly tasty, even to an insanely picky eater such as myself. I'm more than comfortable to pay the prices they set, and always get a good bang for my buck at a time when I need to spend less. Note: I would've attached a picture of my pretzel but I type too slow and it was too delicious l The people there are super kind and helpful- they give me recommendations and pleasant chats when they're able, and yet they seem to never stop working. All that is to say that I'm amazed at how well they treat me as a customer: very fast service, always cordial and ever so gracious. The building itself seems a tiny bit tucked away, which matches the humble nature of those who run things. However I feel that there is much room for what they do in the world, and would love to see them poke their heads out of the snow, so to speak, because they deserve business as much as anyone I've ever even heard of. This place seems more like for catering an event or wedding which I'm sure they do well. Went for a lunch date here. My husband had the turkey bacon avocado. The shredded lettuce threw us off strange to have it like that on a sandwich. It just fell apart. The ciabatta was nicely toasted. It was definitely lacking in the amount of turkey. I had the Pasadena blue salad. Pretty good combination of toppings. It was supposed to be almonds and they changed the nut which was fine. Overall it works for a lunch place. My coworker and I went here for lunch today. It's the most charming little place. It's one of those old houses converted to a business. The hallway extends to an extra seating area. The decor is so cute and festive. I could definitely see myself coming to just sit and read or write when it's slower. I would also like to see it in the springtime when I could enjoy the outside weather. I would like to come in the later afternoon sometime, or try it out for breakfast. Lunch was pretty busy, and it seemed pretty hard for them to keep up. Had I ordered a refillable drink or anything, I don't think it would have gotten a refill; that's how busy all the servers were. Thankfully, neither of us needed refills or anything else, because it was all really great! I ordered the turkey cranberry sandwich, which came with either chips or fruit. I got the fruit which was a small cup of watermelon. Our food came out really fast. The sandwich was a really generous portion. I was surprised by the quality of the meat; it was legitimate turkey breast, thin sliced, not like deli meat. The taste was great, and the bread was slightly toasted. It was a good sandwich. Next time I'll try the club or the turkey bacon avocado. My friend ordered the Pasadena blue salad, which I got to pick at when she was done (like who leaves their mandarin orange slices and candied walnuts behind? she cray). It was a really decent sized salad, and super fresh, too. I got a Twix bar, and my friend got a breakfast cake (kind of like a blueberry coffee cake?). I'm slowly munching away at my Twix bar, which is pretty good. The caramel is really soft and melty, and the shortbread is crumbly. It's tasty. I'll give a different treat a go next time--maybe the shortbread cookie or mint brownie. The blueberry lemonade looked amazing, so I think I'll give one of their house-made drinks a try next time as well. Summary: Pleasant servers, cute atmosphere, great, fresh food, unique drinks, and yummy treats. The most important thing after all this? I'm definitely coming back. You should come too. we came here for the first time this past saturday, my sisters best friend works here & she wanted to stop in & visit after we saw a movie. we were also with my husband, brother & his friend & we were all hungry & decided to eat here too instead of just get a drink. the place itself is adorable! the inside is nice & quaint & the outdoor patio area is beautiful. we tried sitting outside initially but due to rain we moved back to the inside. my sister said she really liked the affagato so i tried it out along with a thai salad. my husband had americano & crepes. my brother had a butter beer frappe & the meatball sandwich. my salad was pretty good, the affagato was not my favorite. it was more like an ice cream treat than a latte, which is what I was wanting. my husband thought his food & drink were just alright. my brother said his frappe had too much ice chunks in it. our bill ended up being $30 for two entrees & coffees & it was just not worth that much money at all to us. i would for sure return but probably just to try out an iced latte & enjoy the patio. i don't think I'd eat here again, too much money for just alright food isn't worth it. read more

This cute-quaint spot is so inviting with a friendly staff. We started with the pistachio latte and caramel macchiato - they were huge mug sized portions. The pistachio latte was a first for me with a unique nutty flavor, this will be my go-to drink here. The caramel macchiato wasn't too sweet, had the right amount of caramel to coffee ratio. We ordered the avocado toast, with a bread substitute of ciabatta, instead of whole grain. It was beautifully dressed with micro greens, tomato, red onion, and edible flowers along with sunflower seeds. Pure goodness! The egg sandwich was dressed with organic mixed greens, the fluffiest eggs I've had in a long time and aged cheddar cheese. The have add-on options of bacon or ham - I added ham. I choose to omit the mayo, mustard and tomato normally added. Overall the food here is so delicious! Definitely will be back. read more

Love everything about this locally owned charming, delicious, relaxing and unpretentious cafe. It is a very cute cafe in a historical park surrounding with great flavored Chai and Lattes. They also have a drive thru and service is always wonderful. My favorite aspect of coming here weekly is that the food items are healthy, after you eat there you feel light but satisfied and they always serve up fresh quality food. I think a lot can be said for quality house made items whether it be for coffee, soups, or carefully crafted sandwich. I just discovered Food for Thought (maybe previously Bubble 'n Bean) and I'm disappointed it took me so long! It's near my house, has a drive-thru, and right by a beautifully adorable park. This place has tables and chairs for outdoor seating, but if you have time, take your treats to go and hang out in the park. Food for Thought has classic coffee shop drinks but also some fun upgrades. I got their Blackberry Lavender Lemonade, and it was done really well. Classic lemonade flavor, with a bit of a berry taste, and a hint of lavender. It's so easy to overdo lavender in food and beverages, it can taste real soapy fast, but this was just enough to taste it without overdoing it. It was really refreshing! But the big highlight for me was the Frozen Blended Matcha with Boba. It's something I crave and get regularly now. That slight bitter tea flavor, balanced with a hint of sweetness, frozen and blended, with a scoop of chewy boba. It just checks ALL the boxes for a slightly caffeinated refreshing treat. I could seriously have one everyday! My overall impression of Food for Thought is GO THERE! It's a great spot for your morning coffee run, lunch with friends, or an afternoon pick-me-up. If you want to find the best avocado toast, look no further. It's made on a big thick slice of bread with avocado, tomato, diced onion, micro greens and it couldn't be more delicious. Honestly anything at Food for thought is going to be fantastic. This hidden gem in Draper might look deceiving, but you will be pleasantly surprised. I also highly recommend their blended taro with bobba (the homemade bobba is ALWAYS incredibly fresh), cinnamon roll, Asiago bagel cream cheese bites, pastries, pretzels and their butternut squash soup. Since I had a a class out this way, I made a point to eat lunch at Food for Thought. Why? It is set out of the way, of black hole they call 300 East and 12300 south. Very quaint, quiet and clean. Old historic home, next to a little memorial park. 4 stars is probably the rating I would give, but because the other low stars seem to be complaining, because they don't accommodate big parties or child's menu, I'll error on the side of finding a place in Draper that isn't a Celestial family dining experience . (No feet on the table or salt shaker lickers, while sister and sister chat about missions or lack of mission) I'm sure that happens here, just in smaller parties. Staff is super friendly. Food is fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Pastries look Devine, but I can only say, my sister said they were wonderful. (She had a flower shaped sugar cookie). I had southwest salad. Chicken is high grade lunch meat, but it worked, because this is not a pretentious place. The spicy dressing, was indeed spicy. I've been here 2 times, and got the same salad. Because, it is super good. I can't wait to go back, and try the house made soup. I got a coffee here that cost me 9 dollars and it was hands down, the worst "coffee" I've ever had. the guy that made it for me KNEW that what he was giving me was disgusting.
