It was two days before Christmas and DuPont Highway was hopping, and as we were finishing our shopping, we decided to pop in for some lunch. Terrible place to eat. Employees are rude, food is always missing or wrong, and there are always homeless people loitering and making a mess in parking lot. Management needs to be fired and someone needs to step up and get this place running to peak efficiency. read more

We didn't heed our own advice and found upon returning home that we were missing two sandwiches and two fries. Worst service ever. We let them know they forgot our cheese and they brought the sandwich back and said they didn't charge us for Cheese when they clearly did. It was on the box and receipt. When they added the cheese they literally threw a cold a cold peace of cheese on a hot sandwich. We upsized our fry to large and they gave us a large box that was no where near full. read more

Yeeeee-haw! Yet another excellent outpost of Good 'Ol Christian Chicken! From what I remember this stop happened during our run to VA Beach as the rest of the crew insisted upon stopping at the first thing that we found. Lo and behold that was going to get used against them for another CFA stop to curb my fetish for their plump and juicy meat along with their Stepfordish service that should be the envy of the industry. All was great with two exceptions: 1. If I remember correctly the place was mobbed and parking was a challenge. 2. The only seats available were these high top tables that they had wedged against a set of windows down the corridor that leads to the back door & the bathrooms. Quite tight with people passing by and a bit on the odiferous side but hey, it beat standing. Overall this CFA does the chain proud. read more

I would like to start off by saying, the food and the service was expectional but I have one concern why does this location does not extend a discount for the military and it's veterans. We LOVE Chick Fil A, but this has to be the WORST set up/system. We came around 2:00 pm on a Saturday and the wait in the drive through took us over 25 minutes!!!! (Really, no joke. Timed). Now, once we waited through the line and watched the people in the car in front of us act stupidly, the young guy who took our order was very pleasant and efficient. I get food at this location multiple times a month, and every single time without fail there has been something missing from the bag- missing sandwich, missing sauces, no straws/dressings, etc. Employees seem not to care. Got breakfast this morning with my daughter. She ordered a frozen lemonade with her meal which was an extra $2.06 which ok I understand. But my daughter didn't care for, so I asked for a fountain drink and they gave me a medium drink. For paying an extra $2.06 it was too much to give a large? Very disappointed. Love Chic Fil A I don't think I've ever been to a bad one. They always seem to have the best staff friendly and well trained. The service is quick. The chicken is good. The sweet tea and lemonade is the bomb. The breakfast is the best bomb. Mmm I love biscuits and chicken and honey. I also love that they have a fresh fruit cup for a side and the fruit is actually like fresh and not all old and mushy. It was great for the road when we were traveling and I was so tired of eating fast food on the go I was so thankful to have the fruit cup as a healthy choice really made my night. read more

I hate to leave chick fil a with such a sad review. But this location does not get it right. First thing I placed a mobile order, went in to get it and no one acknowledged me standing at the pick up counter for about 3 minuets. I saw my order there waiting for me but I had to get the attention of an employee just to say "I'm here to pick up that order." They hand me the order and contribute to go about their business. Not sure why I had to get their attention since the place wasn't that busy but moving on. I ordered a special made salad as I always do when I get a salad from chick fil a. I get the southwest with plain grilled chicken, as the spicy grilled chicken is a bit to spicy for my taste buds. I order it the same at every location. It's never been made wrong, until I went to this Dover location. They said the screen makes it hard to determine spicy grilled over plain grilled chicken. Weird because like I said, never happens at other locations I visit. I left a review on their website. And the manager did reach out to me to try and fix it. I was able to order a new salad and drink on them in their efforts to make things right. I ordered the salad my typical way and asked for bottled water. They did get the salad correct but once I got back to work to eat it, I noticed my water wasn't in the bag. I didn't even have the energy to submit another complaint. All I can say is double check all your orders and be on the look out for freshness if you go there. Things aren't always prepared to normal chick fil a standards. Fries can be burnt, or chicken biscuits can be dry and hard. If you want a better experience of chick fil a dining. Take the drive to the Camden, DE location. Food was okay but I already had way better from other Chick-Fil-A restaurants, and the service at this Chick-Fil-A (Dover) drive thru window was the most worst of my experiences of going to any drive-thru at many fast food restaurants. I am profoundly deaf and I went to the drive-thru window to order my food (I have go to the window so I could give my order on paper because I couldn't use my voice to take my order at drive-thru speaker.) The first thing when I got to the window and handed my order, the male worker told me I couldn't doing this because I am deaf and was asked to come inside instead of drive-thru. I was furious and appalled by what he just told me. Other worker saw what happened about my situation, then she took over my order and gave my meal. Then I decided to walk into the resturant after took my meal from drive-thru window and I asked for manager and the manager only could do is give me few cards of free meals. Do you think few cards of free meals will solve this? NO WAY! I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK THERE! read more
