I was at Chambersburg Chick-fil-a this morning at 10:20am I sat in line and the order taker took 10 mins to get to my car to take my order and it switched to lunch and they wouldn't take my breakfast order. all I wanted was chicken minis. so I left unhappy, I went in and talked to the manager tall skinny and blonde. and she refused to serve me breakfast. as I explained to her as I pulled up to the order taker she was flipping the menus. read more

But tragedy struck when I realized I had forgotten my wallet. I was about to drive away in shame when Andrew, the employee taking my order, stopped me. With a smile that could have ended world hunger and a twinkle in his eye that outshone the headlights behind me, he said, "Sir, today's meal is on me." But Andrew didn't stop there. He even trimmed the hedges into the shape of a chicken sandwich. Andrew has since started volunteering to pay for my kids' college tuition. Last week, he personally tutored my daughter in calculus and helped my son perfect his free throw. But here's the kicker: Andrew has single-handedly opened a Chick-fil-A on Sundays--just for me. Super nice folks here, as they generally are at all CFAs. My chicken egg and cheese bagel breakfast sandwich was perfect, nicely toasted bagel with a good amount of egg on it. Yum! Restaurant was very clean and the parking lot had no litterat all. Five stars! read more

Apart from the food, which is always amazing, this restaurant supplies diapers and wipes on the counter in the ladies restroom. For the frazzled mom who took the kids to Chick Fil A for the kids to play and eat, but you're down to your last diaper and wipes, or you forgot your diaper bag, this is a life saver. I personally had to use this twice in one visit. Once for my daughter because my wipes were empty and once to grab wipes for a Mama whose daughter vomited. Service is always fast, courteous and the food is awesome! read more

I started not to bother to even review but then I saw a second item missing in my order so the gloves came off! I ordered a deluxe spicy chicken sandwich, large waffle fries, and a yogurt parfait with granola. I open my bag at home to see a missing spicy chicken sandwich, COLD waffle fries, and my parfait with NO granola! Believe it or not I was more upset by the missing granola! I don't understand the hype over Chick fil A? Second time trying them, second time I had food issues, so I'm good! They aren't the only chicken game in town! I love the food here, but the service is not so great. I've come here a lot because their south western salad is something that I crave often and that avocado lime ranch dressing is amazing. This unfortunately is the only chick-fil-a in this area. 9 times out of the 10 that ive ordered here they have gotten my order incorrect. Sometimes it's just no big deal and I will eat whatever they give me because the hassle of correcting is a pain. Today however has topped the cake. Today they gave me the wrong salad, so no big deal I drove back and showed my receipt out the pick up window and I showed them the wrong salad they gave me. The lady took the old salad I had. And I looked at her confused. Like you don't normally take the food back. But she took it back and said that's okay we will take it. So I'm not sure if they are going to use it again since it's a closed container of food...but honestly that's gross. When i worked in food service we never kept returned food especially if the customer showed the receipt. And I could have opened that container and closed it again. Oh there's more, i took the bag and checked it this time. They gave me the wrong dressing. So i wait for the employee to come back to the window. Im freezing at this point. I kindly explain it's the wrong dressing this time. And they give me a little bag with my dressing and a brownie. So i take my food to my friend to eat my lunch with. I told her it's all okay. At least I got a brownie out of it. She says theyre suppose to give out the brownies everytime they make a mistake. What in the world!!! Finally we have chik fil a in chambersburg!! I'm surprised I'm so excited about this but hey when you're from middle of nowhere PA you need to appreciate the fried things in life. For those of you who haven't already been here - everything is amazing but my go to is the spicy chicken sandwich with extra pickles and a lemonade. You really can't go wrong here. Also if you're trying to be healthy I would argue the grilled chicken is even more flavorful than the fried options - try it on a salad with the avocado ranch dressing! read more

Perhaps this is a review on the national chain, but I am really upset with their changes to the coupon policy. I had won a years worth of the paper coupons at a previous chick fil a store opening and since I don't live that close to a store still have a ton left. To my surprise I show up with my coupons which I have been using for years and with no warning they say "sorry, your coupons are worthless now..." Chick-fil-a used to be a nice place where you could use one of 1st 100 coupons (for a #1 meal) and just pay the "upgrade cost" to a high value item, but now they have changed it to where the electronic coupons only give you a chicken sandwich meal and nothing else. Takes most of the value out of going to a first 100 contest... Seems to me that since the old man died the new owners are going the way of wal-mart. Old man was a nice, laid back, generous guy, new kids are just in it for the money. Wouldn't be surprised if they started serving food on Sunday soon... read more

Closed Sunday, how rare is this. Excellent. On this warm Saturday, I stopped by for lunch today at 11:50am. The place was hopping. Jamila served the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and the Watermelon Mint Lemonade. $6.62. Food was delicious and healthy. Drink was tasty but a little too sweet for me. One of the best CFAs I've ever been to! Came in after a very long morning of driving, ready for lunch at 10:00am. Garrett was very nice and picked up on cues in my conversation with my wife (i.e. noticed we were talking about lunch, not breakfast) so he confirmed that I wanted waffle fries instead of the tater tots. Not only that, but he went with the flow when I asked for a large peppermint chocolate milkshake....again, at 10:00am. He just chuckled and continued with the order. A few minutes later we were walking away with our food to continue our roadtrip. Unfortunately the person making the order gave me tater tots, so I ran back inside and Garrett quickly corrected the mistake. My wife and I love CFA and were impressed enough with the food and service at this location that we stopped back in again on the way home. This time it was actually lunchtime and the place was slammed. Still, the service and food mirrored our experience a few days later. We hit the road again to come home (this time with Oreo milkshakes)...this made our roadtrip SO much better. 5 stars and I'll be back next time I'm passing through Chambersburg. read more

First the crew were very friendly. Usual 20's as in most. However seemed a little hectic and not all that busy. I always compliment Chick as a company with lots of help better than fast food reasonable prices. However my fries seemed skimpy barely filling the sleeve and then did go up and ask if 7 and a broken crumb constituted an 8 piece meal. The crew member immediately replaced it but hope they are not being trained to skimp. Never experienced that at Chick-fil-a in any other location. They've been open less than a year I'm thinking. I love Chick-fil-A. The service as amazing as the food. This Chick-fil-A outdid itself. We had to travel on Christmas Eve from New York to North Carolina and weren't in the best mood. I mean who wants to drive 10 hours on Christmas Eve? Anyway, we went in to order and were greeted by the friendliest staff. The restaurant was extremely clean! When i went to pay my credit card kept getting declined. I had no idea at the time why (thanks fraud from a gas station in Pennsylvania on the way down), and was very concerned. I asked my husband to go grab the other card. The Chik-Fil-A manager told us not to worry about it, and they had it taken care of. They already knew I was stressed and that we were driving. They went out of their way to wish us happy holidays and help fix an issue that wasn't even their fault. The food, as always was delicious. The service...outstanding. Their one small act of kindness meant so much to us, as we were already so embarrassed and worried about our card. Thank you to the staff and team for being amazing! read more

It is on the moderate expense side, but $4 for a spicy chicken sandwich is worth it. The staff are always friendly and fast. Not enough good things can be said about Chick-fil-a. My husband and I really like Chick-fil-A for a quick meal on busy errand Saturdays. We've been to this location now about a dozen times and we've always had super courteous and helpful service. The people who work there are always so sweet and happy. Sometimes, especially when they first opened and also at peak times, the line can be a little long and we've had to wait a bit. We always use the drive thru and I think the longest we've waited in line was probably 15-20 mins. We've also had times that we were the only ones in line and breezed right thru. Our food has always been well made and seems really fresh. Very tasty. I usually get the market salad and it's always been perfectly put together with really fresh ingredients. The grilled chicken club is also delicious. This is definitely one of my favorite fast food options. It doesn't feel like standard fast food to me! read more

I typically stop at chick fil a everyday in the am. I was traveling and stopped at the one in Chambersburg Pa. today. I ordered my meal and asked for a large cup of ice as I always do at my local chick fil a. At this location they informed me they would have to charge me $1.97 for a cup of ice!!! This was crazy. If you are that hurt for money that you feel the need to rip your loyal customers this way, maybe you should consider opening on Sundays! read more

I expected the service to be slow for a new business but it has been almost three months and the wait time in the drive-thru is still over 15 minutes. Going inside is not an option either when the line to order extends deep into the dining area. I enjoy the food but there are too many other options in the area that are much quicker. read more

I was fired from here due to the fact they found out I'm a lesbian and on Thursday I called and told them I was trying to find a ride because the roads were slick and the car I normally use the wheel was about to fall off I was told to get there as soon as I could...well at 10:52 am I got a call not to come in... than I went to work on Friday for my normal shift. They wrote me up for not showing up for my shift after they told me not to come in... I was up set and than they sent me home told me if I felt the need I could come in later and talk to the manager... well I figured I'll just talk to her Saturday when I work my shift... I show up Saturday morning 5:45 am told at 6:00 am that my shift was covered and I'm no longer on the schedule... Lori stated I told her I quit which I did not... so she lied to crystal and Lori told me that she told crystal to take me off the schedule.... so all of this was due to the fact Lori found out I am a lesbian... I really think this is supposed to be a Christian based place.... but when you are supposed to accept everyone and this happens it's a little uncalled for... I tried to contact crystal several times and she has refused to respond to me... crystal even took me away from the front and put me in the back when she found out I was a lesbian... just because I am that way doesn't mean I'm a horrible person...
