Street parking in front of the restaurant (on the square itself) is limited). The restaurant is a long, deep single room with the kitchen at the rear. There are booths along both walls and varying size tables in the middle. It was fairly crowded when we visited and the room can get noisy. It wasn't unpleasant, but don't come here expecting a quiet dining experience. We had one main server but they also tended to tag-team food delivery, water or coffee refills, etc. Service was good. We both got combos (half sandwich and half salad). We agreed that the salads were still larger than we expected even at half-size. I got some variant of a BLT as the sandwich, and liked it. The salad (primarily spinach with other interesting veggies) was good. I usually like balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The version here was really strong and slightly bitter. I'd go with some other dressing if I came back. My wife liked her meal (she had different sandwich and salad variants as well as a strawberry-based dressing that she liked). Prices were quite reasonable, too. We don't make it to Carrolton frequently, but I'd definitely be open to eating here again next time.

Because of that atmosphere, I was honestly a little disappointed there was no complimentary bread like you get at a lot of higher end places. It is a small thing, but it felt noticeable given the vibe they are going for. We started with the loaded fries appetizer for $14.99. Flavor wise, it was good. The brisket and aioli worked well together, and the sliced jalapeños added heat without overpowering the dish. Unfortunately, the fries themselves did not live up to the rest of the flavors. The choice of fry just did not work for me, and it ended up holding the whole dish back. With a better fry, this could have been really solid. The seating was another downside. The chairs were uncomfortable, with curved edges that pressed into my kidneys the entire time. It reminded me of sitting in a high school classroom desk rather than relaxing at a restaurant. Service wise I didn't really know who my server was, maybe they switch? I ordered the mac and cheese and felt pretty neutral about it. I was not digging it, but I was not hating it either. It tasted more like Alfredo than traditional mac and cheese, which was not what I was expecting. The shrimp, however, were good and easily the best part of the dish. Overall, I still had a good experience. The atmosphere is nice, and while a few things missed the mark, it was not enough to turn me off completely. The restrooms are located on the side and not near the Hucks sign, which is good to know. I would return.

It was a good cut of meat, but it was poorly cooked and had no flavor at all. That's the part that's hard to overlook, this is a steakhouse-style item, and it's also one of the most expensive things on the menu. Simple salt, pepper, and garlic work wonders, and somehow none of that showed up here. When I spend top dollar on a steak, I expect that to be the best thing you do, the flavor that brings people back. On this visit, it was the opposite. Now, credit where it's due: the strawberry Huckito was very good, and I absolutely recommend it. Also, the service was great, friendly, attentive, and professional. But when the most expensive item on the menu comes out poorly cooked and bland, it makes you start looking elsewhere to spend your money. I'd consider coming back for drinks and give it another try, but the kitchen has to tighten up steak execution if they want repeat business.

The customer service was also lacking. The staff didn't greet me when I walked in or ask if I needed help. They seemed rushed from the start and didn't make me feel welcome. While making my smoothie, the employee worked so quickly it felt like she was trying to shoo me out the door. For the price, I expected much better quality and a friendlier atmosphere. Unfortunately, both the drink and the service missed the mark. I won't be coming back and can't recommend it unless things improve.

We love the ambience inside -- white table cloths, comfortable seating, wonderful bar--and so appreciate the outdoor dining seating, perfect for our early dinner on the Square. The wine list is excellent, offering a very nice selection to explore, which we did! We so enjoyed the delicious bread, lobster bisque, and the steak and chicken kabobs. There is such attention to detail- asparagus was perfectly prepared and mushrooms were buttery and so fresh. Our server Alex was professional, attentive, and had a great sense of timing in taking our orders and serving our food perfectly. Kudos to the chef for great food and to the management staff for excellent service, such commitment to ensuring a great dining experience. They market themselves as a Brazilian steakhouse, but there was very little that felt Brazilian, or even steakhouse-quality, about it. The steaks had little to no flavor. Salt, pepper, and garlic can go a very long way, and this place didn't seem to use any of it. The result was meat that was bland and forgettable. Execution was also a problem. I ordered a NY strip, but a ribeye was brought out instead. That's a major miss on order accuracy, and it should've been caught by a kitchen quality-control check and again before it hit the table. To make it worse, the bar service was painfully slow. The bartender appeared to be on a date in the front corner of the restaurant, going back and forth between working behind the bar and eating dinner with his date. I ended up waiting on drinks most of the night. I wanted to like it, but between the bland food, the wrong steak, and the lack of service focus, I can't recommend it based on this visit.
