Might have the most infuriating drive through set up of any Chic-Fil-A in Colorado, and unfortunately I've been to almost all of them thanks to the company I work for being a sub contractor for them. I'll tell you why, since it goes from one lane that stretches out into the street, thanks entirely to the fact it splits into the two drive through lanes after you come around a sharp right hand turn, which creates a bottle neck due to there being not enough room where the split happens. Which isn't even the best part, as you exit the incredibly short 2 lane drive through fiasco, both lanes are then funneled into an immediate, and I mean immediate, hairpin left turn which due to life being controlled by physics there is literally no space for two cars to attempt to converge at this juncture. Then toss in the fact that everyone's journey through the drive through is a matter of life or death, and more important than yours, so everyone just jockeys for position creating even more of a cluster.... just spent a half an hour from entry to exit. End of rant, unlike what chic fil a employees say, this has not been my pleasure. read more

RACIAL TENSIONS AMONG THE FLOCK!Thank you Shift Leader for a great customer service recovery!-Today at around 11, I overheard something that I didn't like. I dine at this place on a weekly basis, its part of my routine and I brought my 4 year old son with me. This is his favorite place because my son can play in the play area. I sat at table next to 3 Shift Leaders who were taking a break. My son and I overheard one of the Shift Leaders pass a comment that I found very offensive. This is what was said, "The South Koreans, yes, in that country, those people eat dog." Now some people would laugh at it and believe that comment was very stereotypical of the ignorant. Then most people would blow off the comment and pay no mine. But it did bother me because I know how professional Chick fil A works to keep a professional standard. Furthermore, it is within my profession to make sure that corporations keep with accordance to good business policy something known as quality control, 16 years of it, so I think that I understand the concept of it, just a little . So I turned around and I addressed the comment that was made. I will tell you why I was offended. My son is at the age at where he hears things and absorbs the info. Now, I know that he has blond hair and green eyes. An Anglo trait he receives from me however he is part Korean even though he doesn't look it. I am a dog lover as well, I was grossed out by the comment and lost my appetite. I spent 2 years in Asia in the Army and I can say that the Asian culture is as diverse as the Anglo culture. Now if you travel to China you may run into a fast food restaurant maybe named Dog Go Bell because most Chinese probably would not care, because eating dog in China seems to be a more common practice. But in Korea I had to travel to the Black market to find Ka (Dog) because the Koreans care about what Foreigners think and they know that eating dog is offensive to Anglo's. Most Koreans care, protect their culture and do not want to present their culture in an negative way. Furthermore it's taught in their culture to respect guests. Eating dog is an old cultural practice that might have been introduced by other Asian groups older than Koreans. The Ka that is eaten and is raised as a certain breed of dog and not just your random poodle who is named Fluffy who's just happens to be the household pet. Whenever the pet gets sick and dies the pet is not consumed the K-9 is ritually buried. Because it is a sin in the Buddhist religion to consume the soul and an eaten soul cannot reincarnate. Many Koreans have dogs as pets and many don't have the taste for Ka. For the same reasons why I don't eat Rocky Mountain Oysters, caviar, escargot and chocolate covered grasshoppers. But regardless, I don't think it was appropriate for this Shift Leader from Chick fil A, to use the term dog, in open loud discussion, maybe she should have called it by its proper term Ka, then again she was ignorant and didn't know its proper term, that's why I knew she had never been exposed to the Korean culture. Then again, as a member of the management team, I would never say," Yes the Anglo people love to eat Bull balls, fish eggs, snails and chocolate insects on a daily basis!" That just doesn't seem very professional. When I mentioned why I was offended by her comment, she did not even offer an apology. She just got quite and ignored me. I went so far as to explain to her that my son who she fond so adorable was part Korean, however, this did not phase her. Wow, when I was in management many years ago, I found that the word sorry is a magic word that goes a long way. Whether you mean it or not. What made up for it was, someone from the management team, noticed my stress and offered an apology on behalf of the establishment and not necessarily for ignorance of one shift leader. Thank you for finally offering a professional apology! As for the taste of the food well, it's fast food, as for the chicken, it's the best chicken out of all the fast food franchises. As for the customers service, most of the time, this place has the best out of all the fast food chains in Brighton. The staff's professional slogan, "It's my pleasure!" Is unmatched by any other. It is just unfortunate that sometimes, a few ignorant fools slip through the hiring process! read more

I have eaten at Chik-fil-A for nearly as long as they have been in business. Back when they were only in shopping malls in the late 60s. I have YET to have a bad experience dining in one (from Tennessee to Arizona and back again), The food is ALWAYS hot and tasty and the staff are always friendly and personable no matter what part of the country I am in. I normally love this chick fil a, but tonight was a different story. My boyfriend and I both ordered the same meal, the #1 and both had an awful meal. This was the worst meal from chick fil a that we have ever received. It was extremely salty and the chicken sandwich tasted like it had been sitting out since the morning or the night before.
