I always order a Number 1 classic with Mashed Potatoes and Mac & Cheese with Large unsweetened tea. I work From Fort Collins to Castle Rock. I order this all the time from many of the different Popeye locations. The guy taking my order says I can only have one side. I just drove off, never argue with a customer. Never tell them they can't have something. You're going to charge them for the items. Now if a customer wants something without paying for it that's different but don't be negative towards a customer. I'll definitely return to give business to this store. Cause Popeyes is the best chicken restaurant out there. This experience gave me a disdain for this restaurant at the moment. read more

Ok, officially done with this place. First of all this hasn't been good for years and keeps going down hill. Well I decided to give it another try and right off the bat Talking and looking at the staff I decided to go park to check my order because something is always missing and sure enough no fries that I ordered. Went inside to get some fries, tired I went home. The 8 piece family meal was all thighs and dried up like it's been sitting under the lights for hours. Biscuits hard as a rock but that's Normal. Horrible service! Been waiting 30 minutes for my food.... I ordered online and choice classic as it won't let me choose half classic and half spicy. So when I arrive I told him that I wanted half and half and he said he couldn't do it that way. That the order has to be done how it's ordered. This is the worst Popeyes ever! 7-8 stingy people working in the kitchen, yet dining room is filthy and half the seats are on the table at 4pm? Too lazy to put them down or trying to get a head start to close? Fruit flies flying all over the kitchen and later on our food in the dining room. French fries minimal, stale, not crispy, and taste bitter which means your oil needs to be changed!!! Nobody at 4pm and fried chicken is already made piled high. Noticed a shift change and employees who are leaving taking huge bags of food home. Jackasses. Focus on your employee meal theft instead of cheating customers out of quality food! Oh why Alice, must you have faith in terrible food? Well, people, because she tries to see the better in all and everyone. Service was actually sweet. A young boy listened to my needs over the drive thru speaker and I ended up browsing through Popeye's "iconic" app that has deals from time to time. The APP actually took forever or load because it was in the middle of an update. How compelling, because it felt like I was holding up a line. News flash: there wasn't any line. Thank goodness! For just tenders alone, mild or spicy, it comes with costing an arm and a leg. I asked the young man for 4 tenders and that already was $5.00 alone. No side. No drink. I ended up honoring a coupon for $2.99 popcorn shrimp, but again, no side. No drink. I ended up getting a medium sized 3 tender piece meal with cole slaw and the biscuit. The biscuit is honestly sooooo Flippin' good. The small thing practically has me wrapped around its little finger. (Chicken finger that is) I spent close to $12.00 and got these two cute, orange and white boxes with little planets and Popeyes decorated on top. I actually adored the packaging. Food was decent, so I thought. The usual: got sick. Felt the next day's aftermath and just overall reminder that my body rejects Popeyes so much. Pulled up to drive thru before 9pm when they close at 10pm. They told me I couldn't get blackened chicken because it was too late in the evening for them to cook them. So I ordered spicy tenders instead. Pulled up and got my food and was told they were already cleaning the fryers so they could go home and that was why they couldn't make the blackened tenders. Everything I ordered ended up being cold since they apparently didn't want to cook anything fresh. So now I have rock hard tenders and fries for both of my meals. I called in to voice my complaint with the night manager Jasmin and was told that I could either send in a complaint or just stop by tomorrow and talk to a manager. I would recommend no one waste their time or money to get food here UNLESS you go early enough in the day and you are not inconveniencing them with actually doing their job of cooking food. read more

So it's been two years since I've visited this Popeyes. I thought I'd give them another chance after my 1 star Google review in 2021. Big mistake. When I walked in and walked up to the counter, a young man came up wearing a T-shirt and just stared at me. He didn't say a word. So I ordered my food, and when I went to sit down, I was faced with the prospect of sitting at a table that was dirty. My conundrum? Which was the least dirty table? The photos below are just some of them. And I don't even want to know what that is smeared on the window. Totally lost my appetite, but I hate eating in my car. They didn't give back our card and I had to drive back-employees laughed at me when I asked where my card went. Order was incorrect as we didn't get the sides we ordered. Why is it that a lot of places are using the " we're short staffed" for their mistakes. Seems no one takes responsibility for their actions anymore. I understand slow service being due to understaffing, but making a mistake on an order that's right in front of you. Then they think you're harassing them because you ask them to make it right. I wish I would've seen the reviews of this place before coming here... it would've saved me time, money and frustration. I have nothing good to say about our experience. The service was horrendous. There is no leadership and clearly poor work ethics. Team members are joking with each other instead of helping customers, cleaning (dirty tables, sticky floors), or refilling beverage station (half of the choices were out). Service was slow & food underwhelming. The person behind me said, "This place struggles to sell food to people that want to buy food" and struggle was a nice way to say it. Historically, I love Popeyes! First of all, the lobby was closed so we could only drive through. When we got our order the French fries were cold, biscuit dry and hard and no dipping sauce for the tenders. This Popeyes restaurant is in a nice area with a good selection of restaurants. If I could give this store a 0 I would. Their customer service is horrible. It seems like every time I go they are only accepting cash or credit only not both. The managers must not do their banking very often since they never have enough change to be able to accept cash. The people they have taking orders in drive thru are always so hard to hear and then you get screamed at by other people when you start ordering because you can't hear the other one that must of said to hold on a minute. I went to Popeye's on 1/8/2024 and my experience was not good. First of all, the public bathroom needed a lot of repair and so did the sink. I couldn't even lock the door which it was broke. When I ordered my meal the shack could not even provide me my order correctly. When I asked for honey, the worker mentioned that they didn't have any which they have always had honey in other locations. The more and more I thought about it, this was a franchise; not a corporate restaurant. Whoever owns this franchise needs a lot of TLC. The way the food was advertised on television had no comparison to what you see on TV. Of all the sauces that were advertised, there were only two out of the four and the worker just put some sauce in a cup which they were not supposed to do. The chicken I ate unfortunately gave me a stomach ache; not once, not twice, but three times. Not sure if it's from the oil or what but very disappointing. Various customers came in and couldn't get their order correct because they didn't have certain supplies. Not just that but someone had ordered something online and was ready to pick it up when the worker identified that they didn't have what the customer ordered online. The customer requested their money back on their purchase and the worker said, "You will have to call customer service". Never felt so uncomfortable listening to the worker/supervisor say that to a customer. This place should be shut down or be reported for how they serve and treat their customers.
