Look, I haven't done a review in awhile but this is a must. This review is about the food but more about the help.. Father and son Road trippin and looking for early lunch driving through state to state.. we stopped at natural grocers for healthy snacks and happen to see chick-fil-a and we both were like why not. This was our 1st time having chick-fil-a. I heard all the commotion but I rarely eat out, needless to say, we ran out of sandwiches and hard boiled eggs lol! We began to order from a simple breakfast menu.. I asked the drive through steward (wish I got her name) what was the thing that put them on the map. She stated, to us about the original chicken sandwich and then explained about the spicy version. She was every bit of kind, courteous, patient and thorough. This was on Thursday 8/7/25 between 11am and noon. The young man that tended to us as we paid was also pro. She recommended sauces and put some in our bag but we didn't even need to use them, the sandwich was incredible and worthy of the praise , thanks especially to the Steward! The whole customer, and drive through steward convo was like an honest real life commercial. read more

It's Chick-fil-A. You either like it or love it. I'd say Billings location customer service is trying to figure things out. We are used to staffing burger kings and Hardee's... I don't like the heavy breaded breakfast items unless you want a food coma stick with the breakfast burrito or lighter option. For lunch/din they don't seem to have the fries perfect yet so the pro tip is to just get "entrées" skip the combo and get a side of Mac & Cheese instead. They make it piping hot with a thin layer of burnt cheese on top, super creamy, better than Panera. Grilled nuggets are marinated so don't be thrown off by the garlic etc.. For sauces everyone has their fave but many don't know about the Honey Roasted BBQ. It's so good. read more

Yes, the Chick-fil-A in Billings has had to work out some kinks! And over the past year, I would say they've drastically improved! Food quality/taste has gotten better, service is great! I'm a die-hard Chick-fil-A fan (I grew up in the south and went often). This Billings location was struggling initially, but every time I have gone back there have been drastic improvements! We were excited to try the new Chick-fil-A in Billings. We haven't had this tasty treat since our time in Texas in 2013. We love the chicken from here. The food was as delicious as we remembered. Chicken nuggets, deluxe chicken sandwich and waffle fries. All so good and we love that Chick-fil-A sauce. We decided the drive thru was our best option, as we were headed back to Belgrade. Three line drive through and none of the order speakers were in operation. 6 teenagers running from car to car taking orders and payments by hand. They were working so hard and we're still cheery and kind. Running their behinds off! We were so impressed by them. They had to keep track of all the orders by make, model, & color of the 30+ vehicles that were in the lines & run the orders to each vehicle. Yes, due to the issue it took quite some time to get through the process and receive our order. Completely understandable considering their situation and our food was delivered hot. All in all we were very impressed by these employees and greatly enjoyed our food. read more

The staff here does not maintain cleanliness in the lobby, and also the restrooms. Not to mention my food was cold, and milkshakes were watery. read more

This chick fil a sucks! This is the second time where I have have ordered only ice cream, such as a milkshake or an ice cream cone. Both times we have sat for 20 to 30 minutes waiting for our order to the point where the app is checking up on us saying is everything OK finally we get out of our car and walk up and they just have the ice cream sitting there. This is for the location in Billings, MT: Drive-thru supervisor (Courtney) is TERRIBLE!! I was asked to pull into a spot to wait for my salad...no biggie. After 20 minutes I stop the super sweet hard-working runner (Jayden) and ask if she can check on my order since it had been so long. From my spot I hear the supervisor say that my order never came thru because I probably didn't order correctly. Excuse me?? How do you even order incorrectly?! At this point she's yelling at the runner in front of all the other customers and employees saying that Jayden needed to "handle it", collect payment (again) and DO IT NOW. At this point my issue is not with the ticket time, but with the way this situation is being handled. She takes my order again and I have my food within minutes. I ask to speak with Courtney and I hear her response which is "absolutely not, is she kidding?" I was absolutely NOT KIDDING. I went for both breakfast and lunch on their opening day. Dined in for breakfast and had the chicken biscuit breakfast. Wonderful food, and with the opportunity for staff to practice, it will be exactly the exceptional service that is typical of the brand. No play area at this location, but it is a good size on the inside of the building. The gal who took our order forgot to get our drinks, but I expect that will get ironed out. Very friendly workers! For lunch, the traffic was very bad, but I mean, hey, that's to be expected the first day. They had a good system. It was going to take forever to go through the drive-thru so I went inside again, this time for carry-out. The wait was much shorter inside than out. I got a #1 chicken sandwich, large waffle fry, and large diet lemonade. Their Chick-fil-A sauce is very good. Also, diet lemonade and sweet tea are both good. Their #1 sandwich is simply the best thing on the menu, in my opinion. All great food, and I had no problems with service for lunch. ' it is a new restaurant and the phones dont work ', how did the city give a permit to this place, phones dont work? Took our order and cash in the drive thru. We pulled forward. Food carrier comes and checks on us once. Then proceeds to serve the car in front of us. Then serves the car behind us. And then up to 5 more cars behind before I open my door and signal to the runner. He asks what our order was again. We tell him, he goes back in. A shift leader comes out asks what the name on the order was, we tell him our order taker never asked for our name. He asks what we ordered, we tell him. He goes and checks and comes back and tells us it must not have been entered in, even tho the drive thru order taker was able to subtotal our order. Im slightly frustrated by this point. 3 more cars have been served since the shift leader came over to help. I ask if its possible to get a managers discount or free large waffle fries for our inconvenience. He doesnt acknowledge me or my request. Brings the food out finally. 14 cars were served before we got to leave. I had a veteran/patient waiting for me to pick him up. I had told him over the phone when we pulled into the drive thru that we were getting food and it wouldn't be more than 10 minutes before we were able to pick him up. I was able to pick him up until 45 minutes later. I would've been satisfied with a free large waffle fries or some sort of discount. read more

The absolute slowest drive thru!!! They funnel you in with two lanes into one. Then when I get to window I'm told to pull over to the side and wait for my order(#1 combo). 30 minutes it took for a drive thru order, smh!
