I was excited that we were actually there on a Saturday. The mall doesn't make them stay open on Sundays, when we usually go. I haven't had Chick-fil-A since December 2020, because I'm just busy except on Sundays. Food was great, it wasn't too hot or too cold, and the fries were perfect! My grandson's meal came with fruit, which was his favorite part. It was definitely an enjoyable lunch! The staff was friendly, and extremely fast. This Chick-Fil-A is a powerhouse in the Barton Creek food court. Every visit or when we cruise by its always busy; twice as much as the other food outlets in the mall. The thing is we weren't dining for this particular visit. We were shopping around and came upon a cow with some snacks. No trading for beans here. Some staffers were out and about promoting the new spicy chicken biscuit and they had a hot one ready to go if you were so inclined. Then came little Rooster vs. the guy in the cow suit. He was a bit weary of the cow as they approached thinking cows don't stand up (you learn such things early when you're a country kid). The cow persisted dancing around and making gestures. I told the boy to give the cow a hug so he ran and hid behind my back and held his arms out. About another minute later he gathered some courage and gave him a big hug. Onto the new biscuit, decent grub considering the price was just right. I lurv the original chicken biscuit with a honey packet and sweet tea. I'd be inclined to try it again when I'm feeling like Chik'n for breakfast. read more

Every time we go to this Chick-fil-A, there's always something wrong with our order. This time they forgot an entire box of 12 count nuggets. They can't seem to get it right and the customer service puts shame to all other stores!! Rude and inattentive people! I have to ask for everything here, they don't offer anything. Saturday 12/14/19 6:47PM I ordered at the drive-through three strips. Down the road, I opened the bag and thought the box might be empty; it was very light. The box contained 3 strips. I estimate the net weight to be 2 ounces. The strips did not appear to be overcooked, but the meat on all three strips was exceptionally dry, and tough; very dry, and very tough, not quite jerky, though. Having not eaten for 12 hours, I choked them down. To be clear, I am a Chick-fil-a regular, and this experience was an egregious exception to past visits. read more

The food here is A-OK, you should know what to expect when you get here. Chicken in various configurations, fried in peanut oil. Wacky waffle fries. Cokes in styrofoam cups with plenty of ice. A few nice touches make us semi-regulars: a playground for the kids (can you tell from reading my reviews that I have small children...??) that is behind a seemingly soundproof glass wall, which KICKS ASS when I've had a hard day and don't really want to listen to them screaming in delight... all the condiments are in nice neat little individually wrapped packets, instead of in a giant vat that dispenses into little cups with a pumper (or if you're at McDonald's, they're under pressure somehow, and frequently splurt out when an air bubble clears which is F'in gross)(but I digress) and... they have a dispenser filled with moist towelettes (from Purell, they're practically straight alcohol, back in the day I would have been huffing these damn things) to clean your icky hands after a trip to aforementioned playground, and they play Christian music and are closed on Sundays and have polite staff that must just get off work at their first job at the Four Seasons and come straight over here, because when you say thanks for your food, they always reply, "My Pleasure..." which I THINK is a registered trademark of the Four Seasons, but maybe not... and clean bathrooms. This location has the FASTEST drive thru. I'm pretty much late almost every day for work but when I have a few minutes to spare I swing by this location and within 2 min or less (and this is WITH customers already in line) i'm back on the road with my breakfast or lunch. I dig their sweet tea and lemonade (diet or regular). Their waffle fries are so, so, so evil but they taste oh so good. The only thing that blows worse than Dawn B. after a drunk night out is that they are closed on Sundays! Damn those religious people who think Sundays are for worshiping. read more

You guys, I love Chick-Fil-A! They don't have many of these in the PNW, so I was curious about it. Chicken is pretty much the only dead animal I'll eat at any kind of fast-food restaurant (or at any restaurant for that matter), and KFC freaks me out (I think because the Coloenel reminds me too much of Orville Redenbacher, who frightens me for reasons that I cannot share because it'll reveal the depths of my insanity). I hadn't eaten at a poultry-centric restaurant since that time I went to the Mall of America when it first opened in the early 90s in 7th grade and my BFF's little brother threatened to throw an epic tantrum unless we ate at a place called "Let's Talk Turkey". Anyway, I'm pretty sure that they serve actual chicken here rather than pre-formed poultry parts like at most fast-food places. The waffle fries are a novelty and also very potatoey rather than flat-out greasy or salty. I like that you can get handi-wipes so that you don't go spreading "CFA substance" all over the mall/your clothes/etc. I do have to take one star off for the use of styrofoam cups, just because it's so odd and uncalled for. So, I wouldn't normally review a fast food restaurant. BUT I had an incredible experience here that definitely warrants a positive yelp review. I eat here a lot because it's about 15 minutes away from where I work. I usually get lunch to-go (reasonably fast considering the amount of cars in the drive-thru) and eat at my desk in the office. One time, I ordered a regular chicken sandwich (the #1) on a really busy day and realized when I got back to the office that I received something healthy. It was a grilled chicken sandwich with wheat bread and veggies. I was disappointed because I like my fried food. A coworker who also ordered from Chick-Fil-A called to complain that our order was wrong. THIS IS THE INCREDIBLE PART. The owner of the restaurant answered and apologized. Since we couldn't return to the restaurant to exchange the order (I only have so long for my lunch break) he DELIVERED a new chicken sandwich to my work, still warm. Let me repeat that. THE CHICK-FIL-A RESTAURANT OWNER DELIVERED A HOT CHICKEN SANDWICH TO MY OFFICE AT WORK. Is this even a thing? I mean, WHO DOES THAT?! I was impressed and remain impressed to this day. Other places who DO deliver will mess up orders and make me travel to the store to make it right. They suck. I love Chick-Fil-A in general but having the owner himself deliver a chicken sandwich to me directly and apologize to my face? Wow. I almost wanted to apologize for making him travel to my work just to give me a sandwich. Amazing. I love the food here but this restaurant has an incredible owner/manager to want to go out of their way to make something right like that. I tell everyone this story because I have never had such amazing customer service. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. A fast food place delivered food to me. Yay chikfila. I lost count but I think I eat here 22 days a week. This place is actually too packed during lunch or dinner (esp. the drive thru). The employees are always nice and friendly. I forgot my wallet once and they still gave me my meal! Their selections are always fresh and nothing is old or lukewarm. The guy in the drive through was too occupied talking to his coworker to pay attention to my order. I ordered a Large and received a small grilled chicken club meal. Upon getting to eat my meal I open my sandwich to see a small piece of chicken (like 2 nuggets)rather than the normal breast they give, my fries were cold and stale, sweet tea taste like it had been setting out for awhile.. One of my favorite places to get food for my boys when we're in a hurry is Chick-Fil-A. The quality of food is just better than other fast food restaurants. They have some of the best customer service and they make the entire process quick and easy. I also happen to love waffel fries, so they get bonus points for their unique approach. They've messed up on my orders more than once and thankfully one of the time they did I noticed and decided to check before I drove off. Chick-fil-a constantly amazes me at their customer service and delicious food. I had a coupon for one of their free spicy chicken sandwiches. I went planning on buying myself waffle fries and a drink to go along with it. The manager had apparently decided that anyone bringing one of those coupons should get a whole value meal, because (as I was told) he thought it was unfair for someone to just get a free sandwich and not get to experience the whole meal for free. Constantly I find Chick-fil-a's across Austin that go above and beyond in customer service and attempt to make me as happy as possible. Best part is that the food is great also. Crispy battering on moist juicy chicken. Always crispy waffle fries that are soft and hot inside. Great sauces, and a pretty good ice cream dessert. Even being in the mall I have noticed that they keep the area in front of their area cleaner than the other food choices. And everyone is always happy and nice that are working there. I had a free coupon for their spicy chicken sandwich today. When I walked up to the counter they had 4 cashiers. I didn't wait long to order and by the time I was ordering, they added another cashier. They were on fire! They moved fast and efficiently. My free coupon didn't say it included a side and a drink, but they said it did and gave me an entire meal for free! I got the waffle fries and a Dr. Pepper. The waffle fries were hot, the sandwich was neatly put together, hot and very flavorful. They made the sandwich with exactly the toppings I asked for. The cashier only put a little bit of ice in the cup, which was just the right amount to keep it cold. The cashier was very friendly and she worked quickly. The only thing that wasn't quick was the old lady in front of me putting a bunch of purell packets in her bag. :) NOTE: Go to Chick-fil-A, but when you go, enter from the left side by the shoe place. If you enter by A/X, you have to go by all the sampling vultures that want you to try their food. I found myself almost running past them/behind them on my way out. read more

I was greeted and checked out by Josiah who turns out to be a Marketing Director.. He was polite and gave me information for future employee events + a business card for easy ordering next time.
