One large pepperoni pizza that look like it was more than I could eat. The good news, cold pizza is good the next day. This price is competitive with Domino's and Pizza Hut in their carry out specials. However, feel the quality and quantity is better here. Chicago's also has a pizza and salad buffet between 11 and 2 PM for $7.99. Given this variety option and that they also sell pizza by the slice. They have a great value. Quality: I got a large pepperoni and my friend got a medium combination. The crust is soft, I prefer crunchy but that doesn't make the pizza bad. Like so many other pies the center is cheese rich and the space before the crust is sauce rich. The crust has something like cornmeal which give the pizza a distinctive texture. While the sauce is a gentle sweet. Overall their standard pepperoni pizza was a little bland. Now when I tried a slice of my friend's combo I discovered the flavor. The toppings lead flavor on their pizzas! I'm used to eating cheese or pepperoni but their pizza rise in quality with the toppings you decide upon. So I would recommend something like a meat lovers or veggie. They have a variety of signature pizza that you can buy by the slice ot try them all during their buffet hours. Also they have a thin and thick crust option for people like me. Gluten free too, if you are so inclined. So basically, try the buffet to see if they make a pie they way you like it. read more

I was hesitant to try this place based in the reviews, but it offered gluten free crust and I was in the neighborhood so I thought, what the heck. Ordered online and got what I thought was a deal, two large 3 toppings for $25.99. I ordered extra pepperoni on the gf as one of the toppings. Plus tad and the extra $ for the gf it was just over $30. When I got there the cashier handed me the boxes, they were different sizes. I told her I'd ordered two larges. She said the gf only comes in medium. Hmmm, okay, but online it let me order two larges and I would not have used that special if I'd known I wasn't getting two large pizzas. Not her fault, but still not okay. Got home, opened the medium gf, and again, hmmm. Definitely not extra pepperoni that I paid for. You know how when you pick up a pizza and it smells so good in the car on the way home? Not the case here. It didn't even smell good. Tasted the other pizza and sadly, I could have gotten Little Caesars and it would have been just as good for about a third of the price. My son liked the gf crust. Doesnt look like much when u walk in, it's got that elementary school cafeteria smell and look. I was hungry and they were the only ones open at 9pm after a 12hr drive from San Diego. Ordered online, it asked if I wanted any extras with my chicago pizza - sure artichoke please. Wings with carrots and celery with ranch dressing on the side was another note. Left a $2 tip. Got home, opened the box and BAM!! 50 cents for extra artichokes, I think based on the pic it's more like 2 cents. Pizza dough tasted like frozen pizza from Safeway. Probably was. $26 bucks I'll never get back. If you are a starving student, save your money, this place isn't worth it. Go to Safeway for that frozen pizza and wings. The menu has so many different flavours to choose from .. ranging from traditional pizza toppings to curry flavours, tandoori. They have fresh homemade dough. Top quality ingredients. We've had these pizzas twice and both times have been outstanding! The Chicago's Favorite was a classic combo- solid. The Butter Chicken had great true Indian food flavor, although, the toppings were a bit lacking. I put fresh cilantro on top and it was perfect. Tried to order a pizza and some chicken for delivery on Sunday evening at 8:30pm. Was told our order would be delivered in about 30 minutes. We live very close to the restaurant. After an hour passed by we called to ask what was going on. The employee said our order was on its way at that moment. Twenty more minutes pass by and we get a call from them saying they are knocking on our door. Nope no way you weren't. Our front door is made of all glass and we were sitting on the couch looking out the windows waiting for our dinner (very hangry by now). We confirm with you our address, you agree that's where you are. Keep in mind we live in a house on a street with a unique name, facing the street easily. There's no room for confusion. You then say you forgot the chicken and have to go back for it. At this point it's about 10pm and your business is closed. We just asked to cancel the order and you were happy to do so. I don't think you ever made our pizza or even came close to our house! Thanks a lot, telling everyone I know to avoid your business like the plague. Worst customer service ever. read more

I'm not sure what happened but this place has sadly gone downhill, in our opinion. This was our very favorite pizza to order on Door Dash. It's a little pricey comparatively, but worth it for the high quality. The last two times, however, we really haven't gotten what we paid for. Toppings are $1.50 each, and I counted 15 pepperonis total on our large pizza. I don't normally count toppings but I couldn't believe how skimpy this pizza was compared to the others we had ordered previously. And the one before that was the same. I try to withhold negativity unless something happens more than once. I'm saddened by this because they really do have delicious pizza when it's made with care. read more

The first time I ate here, I was really impressed with the unique toppings and everything tasted fresh! However my second experience changed my opinion of the place. I ordered delivery online, there was no option to enter my card details on the site, so I handed the delivery guy my card in person. Instead of swiping it, he called the restaurant and read off my card details over the phone. When my husband went to pick it up, the guy at the counter had no idea what my husband was talking about. I've had Chicago Pizza's food twice; once was a dine-in experience and the other time was delivery, What i can tell you is that both times the food was very good. The Chicago's Favorite Pizza is loaded with toppings and is very filling. The owner and employees are extremely friendly. The delivery only took 35 minutes but they do say 45-50 minutes is the average delivery time. All of this being said, this is definitely not your father's pizza joint. Along with some of the standard pizza fare they have a large selection of pizzas based on Indian cuisine. I had the tandoori chicken pizza when I ate at the restaurant and it was quite good. They also have a good selection of veggie pizzas and even pizza made with a naan bread crust. Lastly, I am not a big chicken wing fan. I don't think you get much food for the expense and most places have the basic flavors and 10 different versions of hot and spicy. My son wanted wings when we ate there and, of all things, it was a craving for the wings that convinced me to get food delivered. The tikka masala wings are fantastic. It is a flavor you just don't see in wing places and I highly recommend you try them. I've heaped all this praise on Chicago Pizza so you might be wondering why it only gets four stars. I would give 4 1/2 stars if I could but since I can't it gets four stars because of the prices.
