Chicago's Pizza is a three to four star restaurant and a solid stop for pizza between St. Louis and Indianapolis. The food and atmosphere are better than the outside facade would indicate. The decor feels like a 1970's pizzeria with walls adorned almost totally in wood paneling. I would say, there is a good chance, the building was previously a Rax at some point in it's lifetime. They have pepsi products and the mountain dew was delicious. I didn't partake in the salad bar, but it appeared to be better stocked than your typical pizzeria salad bar. Breadsticks were good and the pizza was okay, not amazing, but good enough for a small chain store that is basically in the middle of nowhere. Also the service was excellent. Our server was helpful, personable, efficient, and made our experience as pleasant as possible. If you are in the area, I would check it out. If it's not conveniently located along the way wherever you are going, I probably wouldn't make a special trip to go here. read more

At first glance the restaurant looks like a refurbished fast food place but they did a good job making it a cozy family environment. Service was friendly and helpful. We ordered a Chicago style "skyline" which is basically a supreme and it was very tasty. The dough was great and the toppings were fresh. Plenty of cheese too. Pricing was decent as well. I am from Chicago. I have been eating Chicago pizza since the 70's. This is NOT Chicago pizza. Do yourself a favor and take a trip to Chicago and taste true authentic Chicago pizza. I should have bought a frozen Home Run Inn pizza instead. This place skimp on ingredients. How do you skimp on cheese? Go to Chicago. They will feed you til' your belly wants to pop. Based on the reviews we tried the skyline supreme and the thin crust cheese and pepperoni. We did not have a positive experience. The deep dish skyline was comparable to a personal pan pizza at pizza hut with very few toppings. Not worth the $15 we paid. The thin crust had promise until I found a hard piece in the pizza...either a piece of plastic or a bone. This place is a joke. I'm from Chicago and here on business. Their pizza they can Chicago Style is not Chicago deep dish which is like a thin crust pressed into a deep pan and filled like a pie. It's not thick crust... The only pizza like this is found at Pizza Hut. They should loose the name Chicago as it's an insult to our City. Call it Pizza Hut Style Pan Pizza. When I saw the pizza i told the waitress this is not Chicago style. She agreed and said they false advertise. Then I had to ordered sweet tea and it tasted horrible like splenda sugar substitute and again the waitress said yes it is surgar substitute. Ate lunch here on a Saturday. Service was good and our food was delivered quickly. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful even though she had to clear tables on top of seating and taking orders. We got a small deep dish pizza that was more food than the two of us could eat. It was not a Chicago style pizza, having nether a flaky layered crust or the correct order of ingredients, but none the less it was a nice lunch alternative to McDonald's. read more

Waited 30 minutes to get three ham and cheese subs, buns very hard ham was small and burnt, no one came to the table to ask if we needed anything,total cost for no service and bad food thirty dollars and change.will not be back and we live in cloverdale. read more

We actually just left this pizza place and we're delighted to find such good food right off of the interstate! Great pizza, friendly waitstaff and very short wait for your food to come out. It's refreshing on long road trips to eat at local venues rather than the same chain fast food places that are everywhere. We will definitely be back when we come back through the area :) read more

We ordered to go, so I cannot comment on atmosphere or cleanliness of restaurant. But, Staff was helpful and checked ingredients for me and was not irritated (as some restaurants are) when I mention food allergies. Pizza & breadsticks were good. Only complaint is the toppings were not what I ordered. I ordered pepperoni and got pineapple. This could happen anywhere. I did not tell them it was wrong, we just ate it. read more

if you are looking for better quality food, good place to grab a fresh hot pizza and avoid fast food junk while on the road. Stopped by for a quick bite on our way to/from Indianapolis. Just ask them to go easy on the cheese. I took off 1 star for the extra cheese that we would have preferred to be lighter. Otherwise a good selection of pizzas for everybody's taste. Not a big fan of Chicago style (deep dish) pizza, so we tried the "Traditional, Hand-Tossed" crust, built our own and it was fantastic. Great prices, and excellent pizza. Fresh, quality ingredients, great tasting dough, perfect sauce. Highly recommended, and family/kid friendly. read more

My boyfriend, sister, and I were on our way to Cataract Falls and saw Chicago's Pizza on the way and decided to stop for lunch. We were a little wary at first as there weren't many cars in the lot, but decided to go in anyway because we hadn't been in a long time. Once inside we realized the location was newly renovated and were excited to see we had the place to ourselves. However, no one greeted us and when the older woman on staff finally looked up we asked if they had any specials going on. She rudely told us she had no specials and that there were menus on the counter we could look through and that we could go sit down in the dining area if we wanted to. Once in the dining area we noticed that the tables and floors hadn't been cleaned from the lunch rush two hours prior to our visit and there were dirty dishes left out. We were hungry and decided to stay, so we ordered some breadsticks and a pizza and sat down to wait. After 15 minutes two men walked in and ordered. Maybe five minutes after they sat down the same woman who was rude to us when we walked in brings out breadsticks to the two men who arrived much later than us. My boyfriend then went up to the register to find out when our food would be done and found out the woman gave our breadsticks away "on accident" and then handed him our pizza to bring to our table himself. They then turned around and brought the two men their pizza in the dining area. They refunded us for our breadsticks and halfway through eating the pizza the same older woman brings us out our breadsticks, with the wrong sauce, and gives us the fakest apology about the mixup, with the same attitude she had when we first walked in. Their water also tasted like chlorine and there is no mirror in the women's restroom (why?). I would not recommend this location at all. read more

My wife and I had dinner at this store, had the salad bar along with our pizza order. Our question is this: why is the salad bar price of $6.00, whether you order a pizza or just having the salad bar by itself. Your competitor has a one-time to the salad bar with a reduced price, why isn't Chicago Pizza doing the same thing ? As for what we spent for the salad bar and pizza, it wasn't worth the cost for the visit. read more
