I visit Chi-Town often and each time I visit I need to get a Chicago Dog and some Deep Dish Pizza, but on this trip I'm trying to eat healthier so I skipped the pizza, but the first thing I ate when getting to town was a Chicago Dog from this food court type joint in the Shops at North Bridge Mall. It's on the top floor, 4th floor in the mall, closer to Nordstrom. The staff working was helpful. The menu is loaded with many options, but I simply got my hot dog and some fries. They were promptly made and served and piping hot and fresh! The hot dog looked and tasted perfect! The bun was nicely steamed and the toppings were great. The fries were really tasty and crunchy!! So happy we walked into this food hall because this spot was the best. Great classic Chicago dog with great flavor. My fav? While a Chicago hot dog is not an overly complicated food item - you'd be surprised at the number of places that miss the mark. Chicago's Dog House didn't hit the bullseye dead-center, but the ring just outside. Two and a half reasons why the Chicago dog was shy of perfection. One, the celery salt was hard to pick up on. Two, as much as I enjoyed the frankfurter being grilled and having a decent snap, it felt a little small diameter-wise. I'll share the half-reason later. My voracious appetite was hungry for more, and I also ordered a Snoop Dog, a chili-cheese dog. While not mind-blowing, I think it's A-OK considering CDH's fast casual nature. The service was friendly and welcoming. The speed was about in line with the other spots at Washington Hall. Finally, we have our half-reason. For a hot dog, ~$7 feels a little steep. Though, I do appreciate that rent at Washington Hall is probably not too cheap. Thus, Chicago's Dog House delivers on a respectable hot dog. However, for the time being the GOAT is still that little seasonal stand by the Art Institute. They have faster service, lower prices (IIRC), and and perceptible celery salt. read more

Born and raised on the south side, but living in ATL makes me miss ALL the Chicago food. We came to the food hall while we were out walking around. I can't speak to the parking since, we walked. But the location is very central and Chicago's Dog House is easy to find when you walk in the food hall. I ordered a polish sausage and fries. My daughter ordered a chili cheese hot dog.
