Two great style dogs were eaten from this wonderful establishment. The menu is pretty big offering a wide selection of treats. The service was good, quick & hospitable. The ambiance is nice.

Meh. Overrated. Chicago dog was fine but the other dogs we got were annoyingly gross. We went to a location in the mall doubt that helped. Service was 1 star.

Love that this place had a plant based option to try a Chicago style hot dog. The cheese in the fries was so good too.

It's located toward the back of the food court.

It's located in a food court toward the back. The Chicago dog absolutely lived up to its yelp fame. Service was just as good. The dogs are grilled and are nice and toasty. The Chicago dogs were so good, I ate two! Great food court area that is clean and comfortable. Highly recommend if you are in the mood for a high quality Chicago dog!

While a Chicago hot dog is not an overly complicated food item - you'd be surprised at the number of places that miss the mark. Chicago's Dog House didn't hit the bullseye dead-center, but the ring just outside. Two and a half reasons why the Chicago dog was shy of perfection. One, the celery salt was hard to pick up on. Two, as much as I enjoyed the frankfurter being grilled and having a decent snap, it felt a little small diameter-wise. I'll share the half-reason later. My voracious appetite was hungry for more, and I also ordered a Snoop Dog, a chili-cheese dog. While not mind-blowing, I think it's A-OK considering CDH's fast casual nature. The service was friendly and welcoming. The speed was about in line with the other spots at Washington Hall. Finally, we have our half-reason. For a hot dog, ~$7 feels a little steep. Though, I do appreciate that rent at Washington Hall is probably not too cheap. Thus, Chicago's Dog House delivers on a respectable hot dog. However, for the time being the GOAT is still that little seasonal stand by the Art Institute. They have faster service, lower prices (IIRC), and and perceptible celery salt.

Born and raised on the south side, but living in ATL makes me miss ALL the Chicago food. We came to the food hall while we were out walking around. I can't speak to the parking since, we walked. But the location is very central and Chicago's Dog House is easy to find when you walk in the food hall. I ordered a polish sausage and fries. My daughter ordered a chili cheese hot dog. She said that her hot dog was very good. My polish was cooked just right and had the perfect snap. I'm a fry snob and really only love hand cut fries and their fries delivered! Perfectly crisp with just enough salt.

We were walking through downtown doing tourist things and I wanted a hot dog. We went in and I ordered a chicago dog, cheese fries, and a drink. My wife had some mexican food from another spot. This is in a food hall with like 10 different locations to choose from. My dog was good and my cheese fries were good also. I thought the price was a bit steep at $8.35 for 1 hotdog but I guess Chicago is a bit expensive.

A quick and easy no frills dog joint. Good food, good service, good quality. I had the classic Chicago style hotdog and was glad I did.

First meal after arriving to Chicago so may as well find a Chicago dog right? This Chicago's dog house is in a food hall right inside the loop and conveniently located by lots of shopping and other food options (so if you aren't feeling a chicago meal). Anyway, this is a casual food hall so you order at your preferred vendor, find a seat, and chow down. No bells and whistles as far as service or anything. We got chicago dogs and fries and both were good. The chicago dog had a great snap and my favorite are the peppers and they had a slight bite (my spice tolerance is supposedly high). Well done chicago dog all around. Fries were also crisp and nicely seasoned, think arby's curly fries but thicker and straight. If I'm in the loop and wanting a chicago dog, I'll def be back.

In Chicago for the weekend and of course had to stop and get an iconic Chicago dog! Customer service was fast the food was delicious. The dog was amazing so many flavors definitely get some cheese fries!

    Bryan N.

Great food, fast service. The Chicago Dog was good but the Alligator Sausage was better! Excellent seasoned fries. Located in an indoor food court. Very little traffic at other places, this place had a line! What does that tell you?

Now this is a proper Chicago style hot dog. Notice the neon green relish, celery salt, and poppy seed bun (and obviously no ketchup!).

A LOCAL CLASSIC! I…read moreloved this spot so much I ended up coming back twice. It has that classic late night comfort food vibe and feels like one of those staple spots you have to try at least once. First night I ordered a polish hot dog with everything on it and a fish sandwich w/ extra grilled onions. Super cool that your order comes with fries and I added a cheese cup both times. In my opinion the fries were mid the first go around, but second time they were better. Definitely tasted better dipped in cheese. They were kinda airy in texture, if that makes sense. Polish hot dog was around a 6.5-7/10 for me. It did taste better warmed up the next day. What I was most obsessed with was the double cheeseburger and fish sandwich! both were easily a 10/10. Super good prices and worth the money. Also, the chile peppers were sooo bomb and hotter than I expected ! I wanted to eat them all, but they were packing some serious heat! The lemon Italian ice is where it's at, make sure to order one! You can also mix it with strawberry, but both times people recommended the lemon and now I see why. The line gets super active and busy past 10-11pm, but during the daytime it's way less crowded. Even when it gets packed the line moves pretty quick. They stay open late and close at 1am which is nice.

Both were nice and hot. Fries were crispy and that first snap into the juicy sausage was worth the trip. No seating, so be prepared to eat in your car and get a bit messy. Also be warned the peppers are legitimately spicy, those serranos had my partner sweating. Glad I tried it, but not something I'd eat all the time, great late night drinking kind of food.

It was almost 11pm (they're open until 2am on Fridays.) and there were at least a dozen other vehicles in their drive-in stalls. Ordered their specialties, a Superdawg and Whoopskidawg with Superfries, Chocolate Super Malt and Black Kows. Service was fast and friendly at 11pm on a Friday. We were eating in our rental car in apx 10 min. It was cool to eat outside on a warm July night in a classic, 1950s style drive-in. The food was excellent, flavorful and fresh. I normally avoid krinkle cut fries because they are usually frozen and mushy or mealy. Not Superfries. These fresh cut fries were practically fried mashed potatoes. We loved them! The drinks were perfect. The Black Kows is basically a root beer float and served with an extra root beer "sidecar." Our only complaints were about errors with the garnishes. We specifically said we wanted all the garnishes on both dawgs and they only gave us the standard grilled onions on the Whoopskidawg and forgot the sport peppers on the Superdawg. Otherwise we loved everything. We might go back next week (before we fly home) because I really want to try their Whoopercheesie Burger and maybe a Supersundae. (Menu Descriptions/Prices) Superdawg Not a wiener - not a frankfurter - not a red hot - but our exclusive... Superdawg™. On a poppy seed bun, we tenderly place the loveliest, juiciest creation of pure beef hot dog (no pork, no veal, no cereal, no filler), formally dressed with all the trimmings, escorted by our often imitated, but never equaled, Superfries™. Served with all the trimmings - golden mustard, tangy piccalilli, kosher dill pickle, chopped Spanish onions and a memorable hot pepper. $9.30 Whoopskidawg Our char-broiled version of a Romanian, Hungarian, Polish sausage; basted in our special sauce, and served on a Whoopskiroll™, with grilled onion and a pickle. $12.05 Superfries For extra pleasure an extra measure of Superfries™. $4.35 or $6.95 - Try 'em with cheese! Supermalts and Supershakes A full pint of smooth creamy refreshment so thick we put straws in them only to prove that you can't draw them through. Flavors: double rich chocolate, mellow vanilla, real-fruit strawberry or pineapple. $5.80 - Regular $7.10 - Large Black Kows A beverage--a dessert--a snack.
