STAY AWAY!!! Worst experience is an understatement. Here is my experience with Chicagoland Tire: Was told my car repair would take longer than expected because they were waiting for an OEM dipstick for my oil. They (without authorization) cut the wheel locks off of my tires. Charged me for replacement lug nuts and labor. The key for the wheel locks was in my glove compartment. Was quoted 800 for all repairs. Once my vehicle repairs were complete my bill somehow climbed to 1100. I was NEVER contacted to approve the additional work completed. Once home we looked under the hood only to discover the "part they were waiting for (dipstick) was not replaced. When I questioned Emilio at Chicagoland tire I was given an apology along with a bill filled with misc. charges. The other interesting discover were shop paper towels under the hood. I was also told I would receive a refund for the lug nuts and the labor charges associated with the unnecessary replacement. Needless to say the check never came. read more

We have had work done on both of our cars. Emilio is a top notch mechanic and business owner. Finding an honest mechanic is a daunting task. When we moved to the area three years ago we tried a few different shops, but always had that feeling that we were overpaying. Hey. Worst experience ever. I went there to have a regular oil change for an old car, then he started talking to me about full synthetic oil and its benefits. I was like no thanks, then he caught an attitude and left. I said please get me regular oil, i was surprised he said : no !! We getting full synthetic!! . I was like whats going on here. He left. He came after some Time with receipt of $58. I had nothing to do but to pay to get my car. But i ended up having a police report. If you experience anything suspicious in this shop, don't hesitate to file a complaint read more

Dropped off for an oil change with no appointment and they squeezed me in, it did take longer than I expected. Freddy was friendly and helpful. He explained all the charges (which they have quite a few of--oil disposal, oil filter, etc). Overall, satisfied with the service, but I would say its a bit pricey compared to other oil changes in the area. read more

So far I'm very satisfied with my visit. My appointment was for 3:15 and even though they're extremely busy today I didn't wait long before they brought my vehicle back to work on it. When I called I received a quote for a different set of tires but due to my error I have them the wrong tire number. He was able to give me the correct tires for the price. I don't feel like I've been cheated of my money Right now I'm a little frozen in the waiting room but when you receive good service for a fair price, can't complain! I saw their alignment add on craigslist for $50. The first time i brought my car in, the service was quick. After I got my car back i noticed the steering wheel was off center. I came back, addressed the issue and they were quick to take my car back to redo the alignment. After I left my steering wheel was still off and my tires are wearing out on the edges. I took my car to a different shop and finally got it aligned the proper way. These guys will mess your alignment up worse than before. I don't think they know how to operate an alignment machine. Clean waiting room but terrible oil change. Cruise control line was not clipped in so the car was idling at 2,000 rpm and driving very rough. Air filter was put in wrong and a clip was broken. Used a groupon: maybe that's why they did such a horrible job. read more

You can align your car with 2 pieces of string and do a better job than these thieves. Brought my red Odyssey there for an alignment and the car was pulling just as HARD to the right when I picked it up. The right rear wheel was clearly in need of adjustment, but they didn't even touch the control arm bolts or tie rod jam nuts! I have proof a socket or wrench did not even touch the bolts/jam nuts. Criminals! They obviously didn't even rack the car. No wonder why the owner acted weird on the phone while making the appointment when I told him i needed to have the print puts. Then guess what? They FAILED to provide the print outs, saying their machine is off and the numbers would show negative anyway..umm what? BULL! The owner even had the balls to say "it's definitely not pulling to the right any more". Well that was the end of the day just before the weekend, and we were going on a long trip so I was forced to spend the whole night aligning it myself, just to bring it to a different alignment shop when we got back. read more

I had a good experience here;-) was in a bind with a flat and got two used tire for a great price. Had a slow leak in one of them, but called and told me to bring it right back so they could fix the issue. They resolved the issue and i was on my way very satisfied. Completely dissatisfied. I scheduled an appointment to bring in my two vehicles for an oil change and alignment, the service was poor and when I received my cars back the next day I noticed on my car and my husband noticed on his as well that both cars alignments were worse than when brought in. I called and was told to call the next day and they might be able to squeeze me in. I called again, no answer I left a voice mail no return call. I called a third time, again left a message, no return call. The whole process of dealing with this place is horrible and I will now have to repay to have my alignment done, correctly elsewhere! If no stars was an option that is what I would give you. read more
