Ommmg. So I seen a mouse and cried allll night. So I set two appts. Terminix came first. I was instantly unimpressed. He came in with no shoe coverings. Okay whatever. I thought he was going to inspect the inside For holes that needed to be sealed. NOPE! He inspected the outside only. Then proceeded to tell me I now had to make an appt for their tech to come out and seal what he's taken pics of. Which was going to be 1600. I THINK NOT!!!!! Today Keith from Chicago Pest LLC came out. When I say I am pleased I am pleased. He came in. WITH SHOE COVERINGS and got down to business sealing anything on the inside he found. Explained what he did and everything. He then went outside and sealed what he could. If it was something he couldn't he still did enough for a temp fix (only one spot) until I could get that spot permanently fixed. He was very polite and personable ! many people do not seek these services because they can be pricey (as If times aren't already hard) Their services are affordable!!!! Two years ago, I was referred to Chicago Pests by the owner of another pest control company that only works on the north side, and we are in the far south suburbs. Not only did they come within a few days of our request, Keith took the time to explain to us what was actually happening with our infestation. He told us how we can help our situation between treatments, (how to avoid a "cross contamination" so to speak) and mainly calmed our nerves about the whole process, aside from just doing his job. He followed up with us after each treatment. Just last week, we had another scare and Keith was the first one we called. He came out within 48 hours (and I know he is very busy) and did a throughout inspection for us that turned out to be nothing. He even looked in our yard to see where our son was playing to find the culprit of his bites (his outside playhouse and surrounding wooded area, we live on a large lot). I don't have enough words for how great Dewayne is. Called at 9 pm on a a Sunday when though I saw a pest, he answered directly and offered to come right away despite the fact he lives in Oak Brook and i Was in Lincoln Park! What owner does that? He was knowledgeable and sealed up two openings in the wall and said to call him anytime. I couldn't believe this level of service so late at night, but he said I sounded upset and he treats customers like he treats his own mother -- put me at ease saying "I got you, don't worry" the whole time. Other services told me I'd pay $500 just to do an inspection (but nit any work on the problem) plus another $225 for any solutions. Dewayne was totally reasonable and fixed the problem. The staff at Chicago Pests are knowledgable, professional, prompt, and responsive. Keith accommodated my schedule by showing up on a Sunday. He was extremely thorough in his steps to eliminate my rodent issue. He inspected the premises inside and out, carefully placing bait and traps in strategic locations. His service included sealing potential entry points and indicating areas for permanent elimination of the problem. I have not moved into the property yet but now I am confident my problem has been taken care of. He will comeback for follow up inspections and I am considering signing up for the quarterly visits.
