I saw a raccoon climb my house to my roof. I thought it was on the roof and going up and down but…read morewhen Lookout came to investigate I was told the raccoon had ate it's way into a chimney vent and was occupying the crawl space. And so began the work to get it out. A trap was set on a Thursday morning and by Monday morning the raccoon was trapped. Every morning someone came out to look at the trap to see if anything had been trapped. After the raccoon was trapped, another trap was placed to stay up there for a few days to make sure there is only one. Thanks Harries! Before he began anything he explained the process and answered all my questions.

I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this company to anyone.

The technician took the time to show me exactly where the issue was coming from, added protective mesh to block the entry point, and explained everything in a way that made me feel confident and safe. What stood out the most was how kind and patient they were. They didn't rush through the appointment and made sure every concern I had was addressed. As a homeowner, that means everything! If you want a pest control company that is thorough, honest, and genuinely cares about helping you, Orkin is the way to go. I'm so grateful for their help and definitely recommend them!

I have had the Manteno/Kankakee Orkin come out to my house every other month in the winter and…read moreevery month in the summer for a year now. Such a waste of money!! The amount of spiders, stink bugs, ants, silverfish, earwigs and centipedes that I still see inside my house regularly is INSANE!!! They've done nothing to rectify the situation; offering no money back or extra visits at no charge. The last technician that's been coming this year is no longer there. I'm assuming because he was awful! The only thing I was told is that the new technician in my area does a really good job. Too little too late! Save your money and do NOT invest in this scam! - Responding to the comment left by the owner... I have contacted customer care at your location. This is why I know that the previous technician is no longer there. Again, I was offered nothing to rectify this!

Called Orkin in summer of 2019 (as we already had reoccurring service with them) to address mice in one of our rental properties. They came out, set traps. I know they did a follow up within a few months, but I was getting $160 monthly bill from them. Spoke with one of my maintenence guys, of whom Orkin is supposed to call to gain entry into the building and found out he had not met with the tech since Feb 2020. I was also supposed to be receiving copies of the signed service visits, which never happened. One tenant told me they saw orkin pull into the parking lot, stay for five minutes and leave without getting out of the truck. I called and spoke to a customer rep who told me it appears they are spraying for ants on the outside of the building--for $160!?!? I hired them for mice. I spoke with a service manager and he said they will send the paperwork to prove they actually did something. That never happened so I stopped paying the bill. The manager and I played some phone tag and when we spoke I told him my concerns and he said prices go up over the years. Um okay. And he would speak to the tech about the paperwork. I requested a copy of any contracts my relative signed as well as the service invoices proving they did any work. They never sent anything, except me to collections for services they never proved they performed. What a scam! I told him I'm happy to pay if he sends the paperwork. Deciding next steps to take. I believe I deserve a refund. Small claims court? BBB? Orkin has an A+ rating on there, despite the hundreds of complaints for locations around the country.
