Spoke to Irene Lopez and went down the next day. She showed me my "chosen" Terrazura and also had another slab she thought would work. Both slabs looked great with my flooring, cabinet and paint colors. I went with the Terrazura and everything continued to go smoothly through installation. I'm beyond thrilled with my new kitchen and love my quartz. Highly recommend Factory Plaza! And big thanks to Irene for seeing my vision and Alex for a flawless installation. I've forgotten the name of the gentleman who measured but he made a suggestion to add a strip of the quartz behind my stove and it made the whole look so custom. So highly recommend!

I have been ignored by Jose and the management team for over a week despite my repeated attempts to resolve a botched installation. I grew up the granddaughter of a Stone Mason; I know quality work, and I know when a company is taking shortcuts. I specifically chose my stone because I was told it would NOT require a seam. Later in the process, the story changed. It became clear they simply didn't want to deal with the labor-intensive task of maneuvering a large slab into place--a job that might have required a minor wall repair but would have resulted in the superior finish I paid for. I only begrudgingly agreed to a seam because they promised it would be executed perfectly. My original fears were justified: it was a disaster. The issues: * Poor Craftsmanship: The seam is recessed and uneven. It is a functional defect that collects debris and requires constant scrubbing. * Lack of Effort: While I understand vein matching is difficult, there was clearly no attempt at a professional transition here. It stands out like a sore eye. * Dismissive Management: After a failed "repair" (just smeared epoxy), the stone manager told me "nothing more can be done." In an era of digital fabrication, that is a flat-out lie. I would never dream of treating my own clients with this level of neglect. If the check has cleared, Factory Plaza is finished with you. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because the kitchen island turned out well and Gina in the front office was a sweetheart who went above and beyond to try and remedy the situation. It's a shame the owners and management don't share her work ethic. They desperately need professional development in customer service and quality control. This is an important choice for our cities, and our citizens. In our house, we are thrilled to support Tyler & Team. Although our first project was small, a trio of gorgeous live-edge walnut shelves for a tricky hallway laundry lack-of-storage issue, Whitney made sure that we left feeling like the most important clients to walk through the doors. Not only did her experience and ideas make the project much better, but it was done in less than half the time estimated, with some amazing trivets provided from the scraps as a gift. No doubt that they will be our go-to team for all future projects!

I really liked it, but it was in a sad shape. There was a gooey residue on the barrel that would sometimes leave imprints on peoples clothes if they brushed up against it. And the barrel hoops kept falling down. Chicago fabrications brought the barrel back to life. They did an excellent job sanding and staining the barrel and cleaning up the metal hoops and fastening them so they would no longer slip down the barrel. And all that residue is gone. It looks like a million bucks and I would definitely recommend them for any projects you may be thinking of

They refaced/painted our cabinets, extended our island and added custom woodwork, replaced our countertops/sink/electric, etc. Our kitchen was completely transformed, and it was done in EIGHT DAYS. EIGHT! I have friends who did similar work at a similar price and waited months for an inferior product. I couldn't believe how efficient and professional the team was. Each day the team clearly communicated what time they would be arriving and what they planning to accomplish. One of their sons who spoke perfect English was always present, so there was never any confusion or miscommunication. I could go on and on, but I think it's easiest just to say HIRE THEM! I found them on Yelp and was skeptical simply because I didn't personally know anyone who had used them. Don't hesitate! One piece of advice is to triple-confirm you are in alignment on design/price/etc. This was my first remodel project and there were a few oversights on my part. Overall, A+++

I've never written a review of any business before, but I absolutely had to review Edgebrook Stone…read moreand Tile Design and its owner, Oscar. My husband and I wanted to convert our jack and jill bathrooms into two separate bathrooms. I wanted a dark, spa like bath and he wanted a black and white modern minimalist shower. Most of all we wanted something unique or at least not often seen. We went to ALL of the typical tile stores and some of the high end tile stores, like Virginia Tile, Ann Sachs, and everything in between. We didn't know exactly what we wanted, we just knew that we would know it when we saw it, but everything there looked very "been there, done that", until we went to Edgebrook Tile. My husband fell in love with the glass hexagon tile that we placed in his shower and the "tweed looking" floor tile. I had seen an acid washed tile that I loved in Florida, and Oscar was able to get it for me for the same price. The prices were great, the service was SUPERB! Everything was delivered on time, placed in the garage and in perfect condition. Edgebrook and Oscar were fabulous.....if only our contractor had been as good. He messed up the shower floor...Oscar had extra tiles. The contractor had never worked with glass tile before, and didn't have the proper tools, so the cuts were jagged and uneven....horrible. I was so upset with the finished shower, I drove from Wheaton to Edgebrook on the northwest side of the City to see if Oscar had any suggestions for what I could do to make it look better short of taking all of the tile down and starting over. Oscar was so concerned about how upset I was, he just wanted to make it right for me, even though the bad result had nothing to do with their service or the tile. He dropped everything, and called his "guy" to see if he could do me a favor and drop everything and come out to Wheaton to look at the job. His "guy" said, "of course." I went back home, looked at the shower again and rationalized to myself that it would look fine when it was grouted and cleaned up and never called Oscar's guy. Fast forward, a couple of months into using the shower occasionally, the grout starts seeping out of the tile around the niche. Awful. We regrout but the cracking and seepage returns. At my wits end, I drive to Edgebrook on a whim that maybe Oscar can help me again, and of course, Oscar delivers. He introduces me to his tiler, Pedro, and we make arrangements for Pedro to come out to Wheaton and regrout the niche and surrounding area. Oscar says "don't worry, Pedro will take care of it", "he will fix it and he will be reasonable." Pedro came as planned, fixed the previous mess, filled in the grout on the other walls where he could and made everything look wonderful! The thing with Oscar is that: he truly wants you to be happy. I really think it personally pains him if he is presented with a problem (his customer's problem) that he can't find a solution to. Even though Oscar's tiler had not done the original work, I think Oscar would have moved heaven and earth to find a tiler for us who would be willing to come out to the western suburbs and fix another contractor's work, and take the time for a small job, at that. Not many people would do that. So, bottom line, we will drive an hour from Wheaton to Edgebrook to buy our tile from Oscar at Edgebrook tile, EVERY SINGLE TIME. Oscar works hard for his customers, he really wants you to be happy with your project, and he earns and deserves your business! He has interesting tile, and what he doesn't have, he can get for you. Thank you Oscar!

We got the project going and in less than a month, I had my pantry installed. Boca uses high quality materials and delivers on its promises. If you tell Tony your vision, he makes it a reality. The installer that came out, Chris, was an absolute professional and perfectionist. If you can get him as an installer, I strongly encourage it. They did such an amazing job all around that we had them build out our home bar as well. Again, everything went smoothly. It's toughfinding contractors you trust to deliver on services, but working with Tony and Boca (and Chris as the installer) was a great experience.
